Beware of this location, they will charge you ridiculous late fees even though you paid on time and when you close your account. They will charge you more fees on top of that. I believe it’s only this location that does this for whatever reason

Dear Gym Manager’s or Planet fitness Management,

I am writing to formally express my concern and disappointment regarding the recent unauthorized cancellation of my gym membership, which I have held for the past 10 years.

It has come to my attention that someone canceled my membership in person without my consent. Alarmingly, the gym staff failed to verify the individual's identity or confirm the authenticity of the signature provided. The signature used is not mine, nor does it even resemble my legal name. This is a serious breach of protocol and raises significant concerns about the security of members’ personal accounts.

Despite bringing this to the attention of your team, I was informed that my membership would not be reinstated. This is unacceptable. As a loyal, long-standing member, I am requesting that my membership be immediately reinstated and that all associated account records be corrected to reflect the unauthorized nature of this cancellation.

Additionally, I ask that your team investigate how this occurred, and what measures are being taken to prevent such incidents in the future. I also request written confirmation that this matter is being taken seriously and that appropriate action is underway.

I am currently in a wheelchair and wasn’t sure how successfull going to the gym would be. Planet Fitness (all locations I believe) offers 2 adaptable cardio machines: an arm bike and what I call a seated eliptical. On both of these machines, the seat comes completely off and you can roll your chair right onto the machine.

I was able to roll my chair onto 4 other machines (lat pull down, chest press and two others which names escape me).

The locker room has an accessible shower and changing area. I did not feel out of place at the gym and the staff knew which machines were adaptable.

Kudos to PF for inclusivity. The only hiccup was thatvthe entrance doesnt have a button to open, so you need assistance to get in.

Only one complaint is the elliptical to close and people around me the nasty never the clean the equipment, I complaint to someone about situation, still the elliptical and cross to close appreciate someone the situation, overall enjoying ,you have any questions, I am gym every day around 4pm,or weekend, around 11am

Been coming here the last 4 months it’s convenient it’s clean I will say does smell like cannabis a lot makes me nauseous sometimes but that’s not there fault it does get very busy in here and may take 15/20 minutes just to do a workout but again not there fault over cheap clean and the staff seems friendly

I have been coming to this location on and off since they first opened. Just recently I decided to resign up but there was unfortunately a problem with my card. The location was wrong and there was a balance on my account from when Covid first happened. The staff member was very helpful even though he couldn’t solve the problems right away he gave me the recourses so I could. When I came back to fix the issues with my membership the staff was quick to acknowledge the problem and fix them for me. I left feeling satisfied that my membership problems were solved and with kindness from the staff that helped me.

Nice secondary gym. Especially in a time crunch. I went for the 1st time yesterday, i was pleasantly surprised by how CLEAN and modern it was inside. Nice relaxed environment. Staff helpful. I would say I wish they had more room for benches. I felt like the “cardio” machines dominate lol. But very very clean gym. Probably the cleanest I’ve encountered in the city.

Im going this gym because is no so far from my house but the place smells cannabis every time, there a lot people in the machine wasted the time because they sit in the machines and stay on the phone and apparently High under the effects of cannabis with red eyes and smell horrible is no possible that in apparently health place permit this things. The mangers should be putting rules in the enter and promoted respectful for other people. This place appears like coffee shop of cannabis people is not a gym. So sad!

I went one day and CANCELLED in person (old injury flared up) and I have been charged for four months straight. I even paid the one time annual fee and am not asking for that money back,

When I asked for the owner’s phone number, the woman told me she can’t give it out for the NH owner.

You can look it up and see I haven’t been since I CANCELLED. DISRESPECTFUL WAY OF DOING BUSINESS AND I HOPE PEOPLE NEVER SIGN UP TO GO THERE.

It’s not about the money, it’s about doing what’s morally right and if I hadn’t checked my bank account I would’ve kept getting charged.

If the owner cares, they would reach out to me.

Staff is awesome here. Special shout out to Anthony and Tracy. I left my gym belt here a few days ago, they put it aside and gave it to me today as soon as I walked in. The center is badly managed. the manager that hates Brockton customers should not be in our city " the city of a diverse community". She carelessly caused problems for me and my 13-year-old son caused big stress for him by carelessly calling the police for no reason and exaggerating situations, and endangering us. She acted with me as if I am a criminal. She was forcing me to sign a document for my son that I can't read on the computer. asked her to do it later or send it to my email so I can read it slowly and translate it, but she refused. I told her I will not let my son practice at that time but she still asked me to sign or leave "both" . then she called the police as a punishment. Fortunately, I was out of the store when 3 cars of Brockton police reached. What a waste of time and money for our city police and what a careless manager that endanger people's life I called the head office and complained about what she is doing but they did nothing.

So this will be the Is 2nd poor review And also the last so I've been a member here since 2018 until the other day which happened to be New Year's Eve I went in there with my son whom is young but have brought in Many times without issue the staff is usually. It also Says nothing on their website about not having In there. This also happened the last time I had an issue at the gym they tried to enforce something that wasn't on their website or listed anywhere in their policies. It was kind of a fluke that I had him with me his mother had to work and he really wanted to go to the gym with her but instead he came with me because she had gotten called in, then to his disappointment when the gentleman wouldn't allow us into the gym because I had my son with me .... wouldn't allow him to sit and play his video game mind you while I worked out granted he is also super well Behaved. I asked if I could speak with a manager so they got a manager on the phone and I explained the situation and obviously New Year's Eve we couldn't find a babysitter nor should I need a babysitter for a 30 minute gym session with my son. I spoke to whom I was told it was a manager by the name of sattar amiri if I recall. I explained to him that this was a super inconvenient and if they were not willing to Compromise this individual event even though it had never been an issue before I would be canceling my membership which he seemed glad to do eager to do so even... so talk about valuing the customer right, went ahead cancelled my membership. Walked into another planet fitness without issue. Also keep in mind ive never complained on consistent late or no shows. Late openings which affects the members workdays or the poorly kept bathrooms. But hey, per pf standards they uphold what they want when they want. Thanks for making my son feel judged and unwanted at our local gym. 🤙 you just lost a 6 year military vet client and local business owner because of an unwritten policy. Gjob 👏

The good points about planet fitness it has plenty of gym equipment . In classes if you need it some of them are open 24 hours and if you get the black card you can go Sun tanning and sit in the massage chair me I like to take a shower when I'm done great showers and lock us bring your own lock very reasonable price

Absolutely horrible! Machines have dust on them for anyone with allergies this is not the place you want to be! Entrance doors and windows look like they havent been cleaned in years, cloudy and dirty. I was scared to touch anything. Will not be back. I will stay on the other side of town where appearance and standards are met

I been coming here since it opened a few years back and the biggest reason I went there was 24 hours on 5 days to fit my work schedule. Now they no longer have 24 hour openings and they try to rush you out the door with little flexibility of those that come in an hour before closing because of other commitments. And shutting down the TV’s a half hour before closing time when it only takes a few seconds to do just triggers the members to stay right to the exact closing time. It’s almost like they don’t want your business

I started my membership before this location even opened. The 1st set of people that worked here were great. They used to be open 24 hours a day Monday -Friday. They closed Saturday night and Sunday night 11pm -5am. Now they close at 8 on Sunday and 9 on Friday and Saturday. But you are turned away if it's 30 minutes before closing. Actually, 40 minutes before closing, because their clocks are 10 minutes fast. I don't know why the cut off is that early, because they sure as hell don't clean the place. I've been billed multiple times for waters that I didn't request or receive. The manager told me there was nothing he could do about it.
