I have come to this location during opening hours. The opener was actually there and pleasant ! I am one of the early birds on Sundays. If they could fit one of those TRX/kettlebell pods, I bet the ab & hip machines could be moved up towards the cardio machines somewhere. Bathrooms are way cleaner than Boston area PF's. Thank you !

I love it here! The machines are perfect, it’s always clean and well kept , the staff is absolutely amazing and always so friendly! The hydro massage beds are EVERYTHING after a workout ( I highly recommend!) it’s just all around a great place! I always look forward to my next workout ! I have the black card membership so I get all the perks ( another recommendation)! Also I saw someone post there wasn’t enough equipment and I was dying laughing because this place is huge and there’s PLENTY of equipment! It’s never packed either and plenty of room to workout!

My teen and I recently got black card memberships. She is looking to get healthy and I myself after a prolonged illness and multiple emergency surgeries have finally gotten the go ahead to work out and start PT. Initially I was hanging out in the fabulous lounge while she did her thing (she’s a minor) the hydrotherapy chair is literally the only reason I drive 30+ minutes each way. So worth the $25 each per month. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The whole vibe is energetic and happy. It’s always clean and plenty of equipment to choose from. I have been telling all my friends about it.

The staff is incredibly friendly. I love the Hydro massage more than I probably should. I love that.there is a spa area for black members, meaning the tanning beds and the massage chairs and they’re always available. Planet Fitness in Hyannis, is one of favorite gyms to workout at. At 5:00AM when I arrive, I’m greeted by the ALWAYS PLEASANT Professional Gabe Delbem. Gabe has NEVER been late ONCE to open up, so I can maintain my daily routine Monday-Friday. Gabe also ensures the cleanliness of the gym, while completing the sale of hydration to its members. Ridiculous front end staff and onsite manager! Was going to sign up for a black membership but was asked for both my back account info and a credit card — just in case I shut my bank account down! They wanted the protection! I said I was happy to provide my bank account info but did not want to also put a credit card on file. I was informed it was a hard requirement of the franchise owner. Ended up leaving and went down the road to the YMCA which also has a pool and much friendlier staff. Do yourself a favor and avoid PF Hyannis.

The place is laid out beautifully and there is so much activity. I love watching people do their fitness training. And everyone is friendly and helpful, e.g., Gabriel, Chad, Rebecca, Kadna, Gio. Also, the locker room is terrific. I also like the painted signs on the walls _JUDGEMENT FREE ZONE. Also, the members are so friendly. Terrific. The parking lot is well lit at night. That makes me feel safe. And the cost is fantastic! I pay $15 a month. Plus $49 maintenance fee. All I come for is the bike and I like to shower there. One suggestion: could you add a scale in the locker room? That would be great. I probably will not use Planet Fitness in the spring and summer - although I shall remain a member - because I live on a lake and row and swim during that time. Ellen Kagan

I recently started going back to the gym after a long break (and adding a few kids—life, right?). I decided to give Planet Fitness in Hyannis a shot, (mostly because of price point) and honestly, it’s been a great experience so far.

The gym is clean, the equipment is in good shape, and there’s plenty of it, so I’m not stuck waiting around. I love the 30 minute workout zone. But what really stands out is the staff—especially Gabriel. Even at 5 AM (when I’m still half-asleep forcing myself to the gym), he’s handling whatever comes his way with a smile. He’s friendly, professional, and just nice all the way around. It makes those early mornings feel a little easier. All I know is that if the rest of the staff is like Gabriel, then they’ve got a fantastic team. It’s made me feel a lot more comfortable getting back into working out, which is no small thing. Definitely recommend this place!

They have a variety of machines to choose from for different body parts. Well, I prefer gym with a Jacuzzi, they have an aqua water massage bed that really helps after a workout. I had back surgery in March so it’s important for me to keep things loose there and the massage bed really helps.

I have reported that many of their machines are broken! Not much has been done to remedy that! Plus I reported that here is no hot water at the sinks in the ladies room and the new mgr hasn’t fixed that! I assume there is hot water in the showers but I don’t know because I shower before I arrive! Please address these issues! This WAS a nice location. Then things started to break down. And never get fixed. Or they’re “getting fixed” in some dystopian timeline where tomorrow never comes. Months later, allegedly parts have been ordered but there’s no one on the Cape to put Humpty Dumpty back together again. We’re in Massachusetts, not North Dakota. The daily drive to the next gym without the ergonomic nightmare that is Matrix equipment is unsustainable. The time of mine that this location has wasted… I don’t even bother to ask the manager a damned thing anymore lest I be treated like I’m the problem.
EDIT- We’re now six weeks into the broken equipment saga. I am so worn down from the mega-commute to the next gym. I have spoken to the managers. Repeatedly. While they’re pleasant and competent, please understand that, six weeks in, none of us want to be having this conversation. I’m made to feel like a whiny Karen and nothing changes. (The managers’ hands are tied as well.) I’ve lost so much time to all of this. I could cry. But a display of emotion would only mean I’ll be dismissed and ignored a little more.

I just plan to cancel my membership 😒, 6 months visiting this gym at hyannis location. 12 machines running out services , I reported 3 of them almost 2 months ago, owner they don't care , the employees are very friendly is not they fault. Legs press machine is just one at the location one of most useful machine, dumbells They make an annoying sound because they are loose. I don't like to make reviews . What's going on ?

I really hope this gym does not change like the others have. Please do not replace current elliptical and arch trainers with the new matrix devices!!!!! They are terrible, the measurements are so much smaller that a normal sized person can barely fit in it, never mind an obese person. If they keep their gym as it is, it will always do well. It has has a lot of different machines, free weights, weight machines and is clean. I wish it was a 24 gym, but without the staff, I guess there is not much you can do. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. The only complaint I have is some people doing weighs tend to just sit on the machine, or chat while sitting on the weight machines, and I would like to see more signs stating to be mindful of time. I hate missing out on a certain machine because someone is chatting with a friend..... some of us do not have all day to wait around for you to finish chatting!

While their might be high traffic, and a high volume of people, there's Good amounts of equipment, as well as TVs for when you do cardio, and a good express zone for a quick workout. Biggest downside is the location/placement. Having a gym in the mall is definitely not ideal and finding parking can be a pain, and the place is very packed after 5 I clock

Great gym! This location is way better than some P.F. locations I’ve been too. It’s also way cheaper than the YMCA where, if you’re a single person, you’ll pay the same price as a large family, which is super unfair.
Anyway, this PF is clean, spacious, and the employees are really helpful and friendly. The few times I’ve had an issue about something, they took care of it. For example, there was this couple that kept using the gym as their own personal daycare for a while. I mentioned how annoying this was to a worker and he must have told the manager, because I haven’t seen them bring their toddler to the gym after that.

My issue with PF it s that the young employees are constantly lost on their phones while the stations are out of paper and hand sanitizer * specially the one at exit door is-always empty! Be on your phone I get it, you are bored but, it should be your moral obligation to do the job you are hired for and check the paper stations hourly. It is extremely frustrating to walk to a station and find no paper and have to walk to front desk to report, they frequently seem annoyed that I’ve disrupted their phone time.

Shower stalls are 3x3 which is a LOT of room to move around.
Low water 💧 pressure (water savings) isn't noticed bec the shower head 🗣️ dispersed it nicely.

Each shower has its own changing stall directly across from it.

This place is ridiculous. Absolutely impossible to cancel your membership unless you go there in person, and then when you do, they cancel it and tell you you won't be billed again. Then you get a surprise bill a week later for another month because you "canceled one day too late"... Their monthly fee is low because they stick you with the annual fee and then bill you again after you cancel. Plus the Hyannis one is 1/4 the size of Yarmouth or Mashpee. Save your money, this place is a joke.

All they can do is make money by cheating people. Little detail for instance: so they can allow u upgrade online coz they make money but no downgrade or cancel haha. And it all shows how worst they r. I had a dental surgery n wasn’t able to come to the gym since 2nd of march but ofc they charged me march april may, which is fine, but to put ur membership on hold, they ask u paperwork from doctor haha. (Going to doctor to ask that paperwork n come back aint even worth for 10 bucks. They r so funny..) I understand that but guess what? They charged me double for june coz they they payment didn’t go through haha. If it didn’t go through, then how u charged me in june for double? It’s ridiculous n as i said worst company. I m not gonna be tired to tell that they r worst coz they don’t care about customers. All they want is money. They have 8 employees working there at a time and all they do is sit at the desk and look at their phones when there is always at least 15+ paper towel holders and soap dispensers that need to be refilled. The level of incompetence at this gym is insane. I think they just need a new round of employees because whoever hired these guys should be fired as well. It’s like Helen Keller is doing the hiring over here and Ray Charles is the manager. A complete dream team of incompetence. Do better planet fitness. In a pandemic there is no reason why the soap dispensers should be empty. Maybe the people at the front desk could stop watching squid games and fill the dispensers. Completely despicable.

I honestly was trying to think of something bad, because I hate when people just give out 5 ☆ reviews, without consideration. But I honestly can't think of a bad thing to say. Very clean and lots of machines. Good hours considering its attached to the mall.

Oh, there it is. I think one negative thing I would say, maybe more of a constructive criticism, is to have a second set of dumbbells. I was doing a drop set on one of my first days, and wanted the 25's and they were occupied.

But so far, after a week of being a black card member (well worth it for the water massage bed) I think that is my only complaint.

An absolutely horrible gym. Due to what was either a mistake or sheer incompetence this location was charging both me and a friend for a membership I had agreed to only make an initial payment on as an act of support for my friend when he started a membership there. Calling the corporate office is also pointless - you simply wait on hold.

Today I called the Hyannis Police Department in the hope of filing a report as I think the gym should be investigated due to financial misconduct. Who knows if perhaps other people are being charged twice? Do not talk to Lane either. He will be dismissive and rude.
