This place is full of self absorbed gym bros who don’t have any respect for women. Whether it’s taking a bench while it’s being used or sneaking photos of women stretching, there’s not much staff can do to prevent this. Switching to a more private gym as soon as I can.

I feel like this gym has stepped it up in the past few months and I am one very happy customer. Maybe there is a new GM? The new staff are MUCH more interested in doing their jobs. They are constantly cleaning, like on their hands and knees scrubbing the showers! Previously, there were days when the morning staff, although a friendly guy, couldn't be found because he "ran over to Target." Wha?? There is new equipment (both weight machines and for cleaning), and broken machines get fixed quickly. It's a really nice, spacious gym with plenty of parking and good hours. One criticism, though, and really only one. Fix the front doors now. They've been a mess for 6 months or more. The maze to get in and out amounts to blocked fire exits. That's not good.

Planet Fitness is in a great location with all new equipment, which makes working out really enjoyable. The massage chairs are a nice bonus too. It does get crowded between 5-7 PM, but outside of those hours, it’s pretty comfortable in terms of space and crowd.

This place is a scam! You can’t even cancel your membership once they have your bank account information! I have been trying since last month to have my membership cancelled! I’ve filled out all the paperwork required and yet they continue to charge me! Even charged me the yearly membership fee!

Planet Fitness at 535 Lincoln Street in Worcester is my favorite gym, it’s not the closest one from my house but I rather drive a little farther because staff are very professional, attentive and friendly. The gym is very spacious comparing to other locations in the area. The hours of operation is also great, 4:00 am to 11:00 pm.

The equipment and the washrooms are well maintained. The reason for my rating is because of private training sessions, I thought they aren’t allowed in any of PF’s locations? There’s 2 women here in this branch who have a group of ladies every morning at the time I go, they take up a machine for 45 minutes! Why is this even allowed here? I do not have all day, and I don’t want to change my exercises because they keep hogging the machines.

They don’t do a good job upkeeping their machines. Only one of the four Ergs was working and its chain was rusted and would sometimes catch on the rod so you couldn’t really pull on it hard. Also went on a treadmill and while I was running, an error code came up and the treadmill suddenly stopped fully. Luckily I caught myself but I could’ve easily tripped and gotten hurt. I will not be returning to this gym.

I had to go three times in person just to cancel my account. It kept charging for 18 months even after my subscription ended at 12 months which included additional annual fee without me renewing the subsciption. After I went in person the 3rd time, I was able to cancel the subscription.
In few weeks after cancellation, I was refunded 30$ but did not get the additional annual fee refunded which was charged without me renewing the subscription.

First time at this location. Waited around for a bar pad with no one at the front desk for several minutes. They returned once over the course of a 20 minutes period leaving the desk unattended. Members are not wiping equipment leaving behind SWEAT PUDDLES nor re-racking used weights. I was cringing as a health and exercise professional.

I’ve been working out at this gym for about 5 months now and wanted to just share that the folks working here do an amazing job keeping the gym clean and are dedicated to the upkeep of the gym floor. Bathrooms are always clean as well as locker rooms. Im a black card holder and the other gyms I have been to have always been disappointing compared to Lincoln street, my home gym, customer service is also great here as well! The absolute worst place I have ever encountered. Predatory money practices with teenagers and lack of accountability or care when questioned. The manager could not even be bothered to have a conversation, I guess the motto is if you lose one customer, it doesn't matter because you have a thousand more. Very disappointed to know about a gym that I have told others to check out before I knew of their indifference. Shame on you Planet Fitness Lincoln Plaza, but it hard to fight a corporation. Congratulations you defeated a teenager, you should feel proud. But as the mom of this teen, I understand they have to learn harsh realities so this was definitely that for her. I am truly disappointed in your level of service.

Unfortunately my teen daughter and her friend joined in January, since then my account has been charged multiple times, for far more than the $1 down and $10 a month. I called for an explanation and was told that they tried to charge her account and there was insufficient funds so they charged mine. She had the funds in the account, but they charged me on the next day for the $10 and $15 late fee. I was charged twice in January which was supposed to be a free month. I have been charged 4 times in less than two months. This happened to her best friend who joined at the same time, and to another person who joined. I would truly like to understand, I was told it's the system and there's nothing they can do. This is a gym that advertises to teens and then take advantage. It's unfortunate and dishonest but not uncommon. I am very disappointed at the level of service. Now I will ask everyone I know about their experience. I tried to cancel her membership over the phone and was told she had to come in. Come on Planet Fitness, you have to do better, this is terrible.

Overall, I like this location better than PFs in the area. For one thing, it's not as busy. I like the staff, there's a good free weight area and it's clean enough. It would be a 5 star review if it weren't for the constant lack of hot water. It used to just be in the afternoons, but now there's no hot water in the mornings either! It's cold every day. Since I work out, shower and then go to work, this is a big problem. Hot water isn't an amenity, it's essential for a gym. Upgrade the water heaters, please.

There is ample weight machines, ellipticals, and treadmills. They also seem to have enough free weights for the typical crowd. I think they should have given more space and equipment to the 360 area as it could use more equipment and space for doing things like a hiit workout. It would be nice to have classes offered at this location as well. The Black card lounge is nice and doesn't have many people using it

Unfortunately they recently changed their hours to be no longer 24 hrs on weekdays but it's understandable. There are so few people there during normal hours I can't imagine that it's worth them hiring someone for overnight. The hours now are pretty expansive, and I don't really have any complaints.

At all their gyms, equipment is basic, no aerobic room, i was told jumping rope not allow its insurance liability, as I looked around at all the insurance liability being lifted. So I'm outside in front of the gym, jumping rope part of my cardio routine, and the GM tells me jmu can't do that in the property. I DONOT recommend planet fitness is your looking for a real workout
