Highly recommend Dana and her crew. This isn’t scary, intimidating CrossFit. They do an incredible job at scaling and modifying for athletes of all skill levels. If you’re on the fence and you think “I’m not a CrossFit person”—well, think again. Seriously. If I can go and hustle, ANYBODY can go.

Reach is awesome. I have been so pleased with everything from the schedule to the workouts to the space. But two things most of all, the community and the coaches. The coaches are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, motivating and engaging and always there to provide extra support or a adaptation. The community is second to none, and everyone supports one another, there are no divas or "gym bros," only a great set of peers that are there to get fit and encourage you to do the same.

I’ve been going here for years and they are really amazing!! Super friendly and completely “scaled” to your abilities, which means you will be doing whatever movement&weight right for your current skill/strength.
You will wake your body UP! You will enjoy the “class” style workout. There is no way I could do what can do here, outside of the “class” format...there is a team aspect to it that really pushes you.
I never set foot in a gym before coming here, so don’t worry about it (many beginners)...and just try it!!

Ok-2025 update: I appreciate this gym more and more everyday! I tried working out at my wife’s regular style gym to see if I cut expenses (kids starting college) and it was a ok at first, then totally boring! And I couldn’t FORCE myself to go! Sound familiar?!
So, I’m back at Reach, and it’s a BLAST as always! You WILL (very likely) have FUN! Just try it…and you’ll understand.

I highly recommend Mason if you are dealing with an injury that's interfering with your training. I've had recurring lower back and shoulder pain over the years. I met with Mason and he identified the movement patterns contributing to the pain, took the time to explain why I would be feeling pain, and created a warm-up program to address the root causes and allow me to move more freely in my workouts and in everyday life. I cannot say enough good things about Reach. I joined the gym three months ago and it has had a huge impact on my fitness levels, energy, focus, and overall mood. The coaches are outstanding and the community they have created is incredibly supportive and welcoming. If you are on the fence about CrossFit, like I was, I highly recommend giving it a try. MAN, what would I do without this community? Reach is more than a gym. It's a home of wonderful people who show up to crush some fitness. We all have our own version of what that is. For me, it is showing up to move my body, keep my mental health in check, and show my kiddo what some healthy habits are. The coaches are fantastic and help you scale each movement to your comfort level. If you are reading this and are on the fence about trying out a class, this is your sign: DO IT! I have been going to Reach Athletics for about 18 months, and am very happy I joined. Since I stopped playing soccer (at age 50), it was difficult for me to find a form of workout that was of similar intensity, but something my body could handle. Reach has been that place. The coaches are very supportive and willing to work with you to modify a workout to something best for you (if needed), and the workouts are as intense as you want them to be. The coaches are also very knowledgeable on the movements. The owner of Reach is incredibly personable and really cares about your well being. I’m not saying CrossFit is for everyone, but there is a range of people of all ages and abilities that make it work for them, which I find impressive, and the community at Reach is supportive and fun. I’m so happy I joined this gym.

Reach has helped me break bad habits, strengthen muscles that had previously gone dormant and disrupted a cycle of hip/back pain that was becoming an issue in my day to day.

I feel stronger and more energetic and can horse around with my daughter without thinking of how to minimize the pain I'm feeling. To boot, the community at Reach flies in the face of the "stereotypical CrossFit gym". Happy to have found this place and would recommend it to anyone looking to make a positive change.

I went to Reach for the first time this summer when my family was invited to a children's bday party there. I was not only happy with it's convenient location but also how it was set back in the trees and not in a typical strip mall looking space.
When we walked into the actual gym, it was super spacious and very well equipped.
Saying the kids had a blast at the party is an understatement.
After this lovely introduction to the gym (and some of the very welcoming staff and members we spoke with) we are definitely interested in signing the kiddos up for classes there!

I hadn’t worked out much during COVID and found my way to Reach Athletics in Dec 2022. I love the focus of Dana and the coaches on overall health, working out as a means to leading a good and healthy life, and their support in forming healthy nutrition habits to support this lifestyle. I was looking for a challenge and a place with no ego. Reach is both. People are great - take the work seriously but not themselves too much! Instructors are really professional and vested in everyone with lots of focus on form. Encouraged to go at a pace that challenges you while testing injury free. And with cross fit everyone has their strengths and challenges - which is a real leveling of the field. And the results are real and sustainable. Best decision of ‘22.

Dropped in for a few classes while visiting family over the holidays and couldn’t recommend the gym more. Drop in was quick and easy. Gym has a ton of space and all the members and coaches were super friendly. I took the 9:30 am classes with Dina and Sam while in town. The coaches were attentive and gave thorough technical instruction for all the movements in the WOD as well as advice on pacing prior to the WOD starting. Definitely would recommend dropping in if you’re visiting or joining if you’re a local.

I started out about 4 months ago hoping to get more resilient to the frequent injuries I had been getting playing soccer. The first few weeks were tough but the coaches helped me modify when needed and made sure my form was good to prevent injuries.
The people who work out there are a tight knit but welcoming community and really that’s the best part.
They honestly enjoy seeing you improve and encourage it daily.
The price is the best you will find and the owners invest their time and energy making sure you get the facilities and support you need !

Reach is a fantastic CrossFit gym. Their coaching staff is universally excellent. The class offerings are varied, and I especially enjoyed the weight lifting classes. The space is nice, with a high ceiling and big doors that they open any time the weather permits. The gym has ample parking and is right next to the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail, which provides additional commuting and workout opportunities. The owner is a local and is very involved in community activities in and outside the gym. If you're at all interested in CrossFit, getting in shape, and around the Acton area, definitely check out Reach Athletics. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

I have been going here for 2 years and it never gets old. 100% worth the money and you will see results just by showing up consistently. Great for all ages too! I moved my family from Needham to Acton in the midst of the pandemic and was looking for a solid CF box to come to.
