My wife and I signed up for an intro to yoga class at Samara Yoga. It was an incredible experience! Our teacher, Andrea, did a wonderful job making everyone feel comfortable and inclusive; an equal opportunity yoga teacher. We left our six week course feeling like we had a great foundation to build our practice. I would highly recommend this studio and Andrea as teacher for beginner to advance guidance.

I get all my yoga needs met at this studio. I've been a student here for 4 years and find the expertise of the teachers combined with the community feel to be the best in the Boston area.

Incredible, real-deal yoga. The best instructors around, and great deals on classes. Really great vinyasa classes, and tons of class times. Go to Catie's classes! She's the best.

Great instructors! I haven't had a class here I didn't love. I just wish the space was a bit larger, or there were two rooms. Location is great and instructors are wonderful! Also, military veterans (or active duty) only pay $5 per class. You must show proof, of course. I've never seen this at another yoga studio in the area and I love that!

Love this Studio! It has a very warm quality to it with highly experienced teachers wanting to nourish the students in mind, body and soul. Although I always feel stronger after a class, it's not a power yoga environment. Instead, it provides a supportive environment that holds true to yoga core principles and values... May all beings be happy:)

I love this studio. Lots of fine teachers, including Karma, Ame, Nicoline (the owner), Jessica, and Rachel. The place has such a warm, laid-back, supportive vibe, and the classes usually present a good balance (for me) of challenge/novelty vs. working deeper into familiar territory. I would characterize the studio as mostly vinyasa focused. Most classes have some music, and it is subtle and complementary to the practice, with little or no emo or hip hop tracks (pet peeves). While the studio is popular, I very seldom experience a class that is jam-packed. Even though the studio is conveniently located in the heart of Davis Sq., the space is quiet and peaceful. For whatever reason, traffic noise seldom intrudes. $10 drop-in lunchtime classes are a good deal and a good way to check out the studio.

Samara is a fantastic yoga studio in the heart of Davis Square. Great mix of classes. Teachers are very experienced. There is a class for everybody and a body for every class. I've been doing yoga for nearly 20 years and this is one of my favorite studios ever :)
