Applied for the gym a while ago and at the time I had used a card that didn't have money on it during application. As I went to put money on the card I changed my mind and clicked off the site. I had not set up any automatic payment and the membership wasn’t confirmed or indicated so on the site before I had clicked off the site.

After a while I put the money on it and I got an email saying congratulations on your membership despite no indication I had subscribed or fully applied prior to me closing the site. I even got a email with my “signature” which is clearly just a basic font text that I clearly did not write. Canceling was the biggest hassle of my life and it seems the case for others as well. They wouldn’t even pick up the phone at any time frame. Any gym that makes it difficult to cancel is automatically cause for concern.

Recently got an email from them as well which reminded me to write this review, they are so greedy but at least they are willing to donate $1 per member that joins right now! Wow! Such a generous donation given their $35 membership! Went to unsubscribe from emails and they only unsubscribe you from their email and not the linked company that also sends you ads, although you did not subscribe to them yourself. Just overall negative and even stepping in with a friend the experience was not matching a $35 price point. Go to any other gym, do laps in your living room, anything but here

The website for the Holyoke location boasts group classes and my zone. There are definitely no group classes and there's a giant poster on the wall that also says, ask staff about my zone and staff doesn't know anything about it. They do however, still want the same price even though they don't offer the amenities they claim on the website. The snap fitness app wants you to connect to the my zone they don't offer. I do like the 24/7 access and the private showers are nice. The gym is incredibly small and the atmosphere again isn't as described on the website. I think its better described as an express circuit.

I’ve been a member of this gym for over a year and really enjoyed the atmosphere. The 24-hour access was incredibly convenient for my schedule. I even recommended it to many friends and family.

Unfortunately, my experience took a negative turn recently, when I was accused of opening the emergency exit and triggering the alarm, which was not the case. I was then threatened with membership cancellation "if it happened again." This was a frustrating and disappointing experience, especially given my positive track record at the gym. The way it was handled felt extremely unprofessional. While I liked the gym overall, this situation has led me to look elsewhere for my fitness needs.

Love Snap Fitness. As a longtime member of many gyms, I have found Snap Fitness Holyoke and Hampden to be the best. Clean, friendly, best trainers and best workout equipment.
I have recommended this gym to friends.

Do not join this gym, you will never be able to cancel your membership. I've called multiple times to barely anyone answering the phone. When someone does answer they cannot help. They have been billing me non-stop since my cancelation. I found out and put a stop on my card for this company. They then proceeded to bill me under another name to get around the block.

They make signing up easy but canceling impossible. You can sign up online but have to go into the location and meet with someone to cancel but there is never anyone working there so it's a waste of your time. It's a game of cat and mouse and it's honestly a joke, it's supposed to be frustrating so you never cancel. You can sign up easily online but they make you jump through hoops to cancel. They are predatory and do not care about you, just the fact that they can keep billing you. Only join if you plan to never quit and not make payments.

So far since I have "canceled" they have charged my card almost $300, through multiple attempts by me to block the charges.

There are no staff during staff hours. I called a few times and drove there to see if anyone is there to sign me up for this gym.Couldn't get a hold of anyone. Sign yourself up on the site cause no one works there.

Decent gym to go to and has plenty of equipment, but forget trying to get a hold of the staff at the location. They do not answer phones. When asked whether or not I could cancel my membership after 2 weeks of contacting the location I was given the run around and told to visit the website to contact the owner through email to cancel it.

Very nice facility! Not too big, but it has everything you could ask for. There are two showers and two bathrooms, plus a water fountain. There's a squat rack, plenty of cardio equipment, tons of free weights and even a stair stepper (felt a bit slippery though). Overall this place is 10 out of 10! I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area.

24 hours a day gym access and the price for a family plan is very reasonable. Out of all the gyms i've been to, this gym has the least amount of annoying people... highly recommend this place.

It's a decent sized gym, not HUGE like some other gyms but it has all the essentials, by far the cleanest workout establishment I have ever seen, EVER. Have the option to pay month to month which is a plus and it's open 24/7. The owner is really nice and not a pushy salesman, you can tell he takes pride in his establishment. Newer equipment that doesn't look like its been around for a decade.
