Spartan Training Center is a Private, 1-on-1 training studio located in Quincy, MA. At Spartan, you get all the benefits of a commercial gym setup, with the added advantages of a fully customised workout program and certified personal trainer. Each program is designed specifically for your goals.
We are also now offering online programs for use at home or any commercial gym.

If you want to get fit, see Tim at Spartan Training Center. I am a septuagenerian. I have had a left total hip replacement and a right total hip replacement in the last few years( unable to walk without pain for a number of years). The replacements worked but then got myocarditis which left me debilitated- couldn’t walk 20 feet without exhaustion! Began to recover and started with Tim 11 months ago. I have lost 30 lbs , am lifting weights and am walking 2 miles a day easily . Feel more fit today than I have in 20 yrs. One of the best things I have done for myself. Want to be the best version of myself if yourself, see Tim.

I started at Spartan Training Center in January, and just a few months in, I'm already feeling so much better and seeing real progress. I was pretty unsure about joining a gym and didn’t really know where to start, but Spartan turned out to be the perfect place. The workouts are fun, the atmosphere is super welcoming, and I’ve learned a lot about health and fitness along the way. I am an RN with a doctorate in public health -- I have known for years that weight training is critical to maintaining a person's health & well-being. But... knowing is not the same as doing.
As I aged I saw my health & strength deteriorating. I kept gaining weight. I knew I needed help to stop this negative spiral because I was intimidated with gyms & weight training equipment. If you're thinking about working with a personal trainer go book with Tim at Spartan. It is the best money I've ever spent on my health. I am 32 years old and have been working with Tim for three and a half months. He maximizes each second of every session. I have learned proper form and techniques. I've worked with a few different trainers and It's the first time I have seen defined muscles in my body. Each week I noticeably feel stronger and healthier. I cannot recommend him enough.

This is a great place. Whether you are 15 or 80 (as I will be next week), the personal training that Tim Dutcher provides is life-changing. After 5 years of doing nothing but caring for my late husband, Tim has brought me back to life. I have lost 15 pounds and have now returned to traveling and keeping up with the small groups at Overseas Adventure Travel. My overall health and outlook have improved remarkably.
Tim’s focus on my goals and abilities, patience and encouragement, and carefully constructed routines are unlike what you would find at any other gym. The extensive variety of equipment is impressive, but the care and concern from Tim are what makes this space special. The programs he builds are unique for each client, and my progress is noticeable to my family and friends. Spartan Training Center is expensive but well worth it!

My wife and I have been going to Spartan twice a week for the past year. Tim is an outstanding trainer who creates workouts geared specifically to our personal goals. I was almost completely naive to weightlifting before I started, and Tim has taught me patiently how to work all the free weights and machines in the gy.. He is a stickler for safety, very detail-oriented, and constructs full-body workouts that maximize the 30-minute time period. You have access to each machine at the gym without having to wait, so you can really get the most out of every workout. We recommend Spartan to anybody of all ages who is interested in maintaining their physical health and fitness.

I joined Spartan training center less than four months ago. I have lost 35 pounds, and I am visibly more muscular than I have been in my life. I am 44 years old with no sports or real athletic background. I have tried gyms in the past but never could commit myself to a regular routine. Spartan training has changed that for me. I am kept motivated at the center with the instructors professional, knowledge based training while making a fun atmosphere. I continue to be motivated after my appointments, out in life with my results. I look better, I get compliments regularly from people I know. The weight loss diet plan is very manageable with some flexibility. It consists of real food you can have at home, order out, or even eat out at a restaurant. I can’t say enough good things about this training center. It has changed my entire life, and will continue going forward.

I have been training at this place for over a year and its an excellent personal training gym. Tim, the owner, caters to all fitness levels—no gym experience to lots of gym experience—and he adjust his programs accordingly, you have all the equipment you need, and you get the entire gym to yourself when you book a session. I am prior military and I have lots of gym experience, however I was always challenged when worked out there. Tim conducts high intensity strength training, which means you have a shorter gym session, but every second is accounted for towards the workout/rest. Through out my time there I have seen lots of muscle growth, my body has become more tone, and I have grown in my confidence. I wish I wasn’t moving so I could continue training here.

I joined Spartan Training Center with a few goals in mind. I wanted to lose weight while getting stronger and gaining muscle. I did not want to simply look fit. I wanted to be healthy.
Head trainer and owner of Spartan Training Center, Tim Dutcher, helped me exceed my goals and my personal expectations. Not only did Tim lead me to losing 45 lbs. in six months but he also helped me create diet, weightlifting, and cardio habits that I will use for years to come. A huge thank you to Tim and Spartan Training Center for getting me back on track! If I still lived in the area, I would still be a Spartan.
