I went to the 630 aerial beginner class oct 23 and it was a complete waste of time and money. We did some ab excercises which in all honestly i couldve just done at home in 5 mins (mostly hollow holds but on the hammock so like i guess but nah) and wouldve gotten the same workout. We did one flip, that took like 20 mins to explain but it couldve taken like 5 at most i swear and two things hanging down that took the other 30 (both together 5 mins imo), and thats it. The teacher spent way too much time talking. She explained that she had to teach us how to get out of a position and instead of just showing us she went on to tell us a story of how some person couldnt get out of it and yelled help mid class, which i think 1 wastes time and 2 makes everyone feel self conscious if they need help. Didnt even get sweaty and i was wearing a sweater. 0/10 for workout purposes. I guess it is a beginner class but come on, we all learn faster than this

I've been taking classes at SWET for a few years and I absolutely love it. All of the instructors and staff are incredibly welcoming. They care to keep you safe and encourage your progress. I am still NOT good at it but I have been very happy at every small milestone. The vibe of the studio is also cozy and cool...excellent for photos :). Aerial can seem intimidating (and I am
still fighting my own fears!) but I 100% encourage you to give it a try AND stick it out for a bit if it feels a little scary at first. You don't need to get to the point of being an expert - just have fun and get upside down!

I did the yoga and Pilates classes and got the most amazing full body workouts! I feel like a new person with a new body after Veronica’s and Gia’s classes. They are super friendly and fun! They pushed me and got me to do a lot more than I had in me. I had a great time feeling the burn, stretching and getting the tightness and kinks out of my body. I felt like a little kid on a playground swinging in the hammocks. I highly recommend Swet studio.

This was a really fun class to do with a friend. I was scared at first, but the instructor (Veronica) was very kind and helpful with many of the positions. She pushed us all to do the poses and it was worth it. They are a little expensive on class pass but it was fun for a one time class!

Made the mistake of getting a membership with these people and can’t wait until the day my “contract” ends. They’re terrible at communicating/answering questions and their policies are extremely vague. The classes are fine from my experience (why i got a membership in the first place) but everything else has left a really bad taste in my mouth. Never again.

I had such an amazing experience at Swet Studio! I signed up for the Aerial Beginner class and was a bit nervous at first, but our instructor, Bonnie, did an incredible job guiding me through each step of the way. She was caring, personal, and attentive to everyone’s poses, inversions, and backflips and I really appreciated her patience with me! Gia was also a great spotter! I had such an awesome experience and can’t wait to come back again! 10/10 recommend!😊

Swetstudio is my absolute favorite for yoga in Boston. I love Veronika for her wonderful classes including Yoga, Pilates, Barre, and Flexibility. I’ve been doing these for almost two years. Everytime I come here, I feel that my body heals itself and become stronger.

My friend and I tried out our first aerial yoga class here. One of my pet peeves in life is when you try out a new studio, especially a more niche one like this and no one bothers to show you around or give you any basics on the class. Well SwetStudio is unfortunately this kind of studio. We had to ask for help to get any introduction. Overall, I did not have a good experience here. A little over 6 months later the studio reached out and offered me a free class pack. I decided that I would give them a second chance and boy was that a mistake. In offering me this class pack, the associated pushed me to meet with them off hours in the middle of the day on a Saturday(days in advance). I thought it was odd but agreed and this appointment was subsequently confirm two more times. The night before my appointment I get a text at 9 pm from the owner clarifying my appointment was just a walkthrough and if I instead wanted to book around a class please let them know. Since I had already scheduled my whole day around this I decided to keep my original appointment. Well I showed up and no one was there. When I texted the owner to ask what was going on, she let me almost an hour that the appointment had been canceled (without bothering to tell me). So my review, I would highly discourage anyone from visiting this studio. They do not respect your time and do not care about new clients.

My first class with Caitlin is unfortunately, NOT great.
I arrived early on Friday to ensure everything was set up properly and mentioned to Caitlin that it was my first class. The session was going smoothly until we started learning some up-side-down tricks.I was a bit intimidated and missed a key step from the instructions, so I asked Caitlin for help as she was walking around the room. She clearly heard my request, looked at me, and then turned away. I initially thought it might be because it was a group lesson and she needed to keep the class moving, but then she turned to assist two other clients with changing their setups, completely ignoring me twice. Eventually, a nearby friend explained the trick to me, and I managed to execute it successfully in just one second. This was the worst studio class experience I've had in Boston.
To be fair, my later class with Philip was much more relaxed and enjoyable.
If you're already familiar with the material, Caitlin's class might work for you. However, if you're a very beginner, I highly recommend starting with someone else.

I was Interested in joining a class because it looked so fun. I’d say I’m a beginner trying to build up my endurance and thought that this would be perfect. I was able to book for Sunday 02/25th. I was a little nervous but still excited so I asked my sister in law to join me. We were so excited leading up to the day. When we first walked in there was no one to greet us. The class started at 9am and we were there at 8:30am. About 10 minutes later a woman runs in and asked if she could help. I was thankful she asked because it was our first time and I had questions. I responded by informing her that we were both new and needed to sign in. She said ok let me get your name. I must have told her my name 5-6 times and even spelled it but it was almost like she was purposefully trying to screw my name up. I eventually showed her my reservation on the app (Class Pass). She looked me on her computer and I seen her pull up my reservation with my first and last name and date/time but she turned to me and said “No I don’t have you in the system” I showed her my reservation through the app and she dismissed it saying there was nothing she could do because it was booked by third party. My sister in-law then asked if she could look her up. I glanced over at the screen again and seen that she pulled her up but then said she didn’t see a reservation. Others started to come in to start the class. It was too embarrassing to try and confront her about what I had witnessed so I just apologized for the confusion. She then went on and said that we should be in the intro class and the intermediate classes would be too advanced for us. Before even knowing our level of fitness. I’ll also add that we were the only POC in the entire room and she wasn’t making us feel welcomed at all. For my last attempt to try and be part of a class at Swet Studio I thanked her for her input and asked when is the next intro class and she responded to me “ it’s all online, I don’t know off the top of my head but I’m sure you'll find everything on our website”. I was disappointed with that response when a staff member doesn’t know or doesn’t want to share the information to an interested party. Needless to say, I will never bring my business to any Swet Studio and you shouldn’t either. The staff are unpleasant to POC and it’s not right.

I first went to Swet through ClassPass and had a great first experience - so much so that I went back to try the 2-week trial membership! Now a week in, I have gone almost every day and have felt challenged, rejuvenated, and proud each time I've gone. All the instructors are very friendly too. I would recommend trying this, even if you've never done it before!

SWET Studio is one of my favorite spots in Boston. I was not the biggest fan of yoga before trying aerial yoga at Swet, and it has been one of the most gratifying experiences. Not only is it super fun, but it makes my body feel so, so good, especially as someone who regularly lifts weight. I’ve literally brought all my friends and my mother to class and they’ve loved it as well. The instructors are all so wonderful and kind and extremely professional. I showed up to a class that I thought I had signed up for and Sil still let me attend for free. I love the people here and the energy, coming to class has become one of the highlights of my week. I can’t recommend it enough.

I went for my first class last weekend. It was absolutely magical and worked wonders for my body and mind alike. I was a bit nervous initially, thinking about transitioning from a yoga mat to the silk but the instructor made it a cakewalk for me. She was clear in her instructions, paid attention to individual person's posture and helped me multiple times in correcting my postures. I felt confident after the class, gonna take next class very soon. Highly recommended for someone willing to take Yoga experience to a higher level.

This is one of the most fun workouts!! I just started a month ago but make sure that I go at least 2-3 times a week. There is a huge range of classes and none have disappointed me. I love that you can vary what type of class you can take all while still being in the hammock! In addition, one thing I didn’t expect would be the confidence boost you also get every time you enter class and go in the hammock. I definitely recommend to all!!!

I attended the Beginner’s Aerial class with Asia and it was AHMAZING!
I felt so supported throughout the class. Asia is such a purposeful and spirited instructor. I was able to truly relax into the process, and let go of my fears of trying something brand new.
Now, I’m back for another session. I think aerial yoga is my new thang :-)
I HIGHLY recommend this class to anyone. Especially if you are working on being more courageous or more fearless ❤️

I joined Swet a few months ago right before moving out of the neighborhood and only wish I had tried it sooner! I've continued going because of how much I like it. The environment is incredibly welcoming. The instructors are friendly and knowledgable. It is small enough that you start seeing familiar faces after a few visits and get individual attention and assistance when needed. I've primarily taken the row classes. They are well run, challenging, and the time flies. I've tried a few aerial yoga classes as well, which is brand new to me. The beginner classes are a great introduction. The instructors really make sure everyone is comfortable. I highly recommend trying it out!

I started at this studio about three weeks ago. I have scoliosis and thought it would be a great way to stretch my back and make it stronger. Initially it was a bit difficult for me as I wasn't used to the movements but now I'm amazed by what my body can do. In just five classes my hips have loosened up and I can finally do some of the more difficult movements. I believe that these classes have helped with my therapies as well by increasing flexibility and strengthening the muscles. I have no doubt that anyone looking for a fun way to workout will enjoy this studio but to find a place where you can alsofind solutions to bad posture, lack of flexibility or generally lack of upper body strength while still have fun is difficult. Thank you so much for helping me in my journey to better health!

I just started coming back to Swet after being away for a while because of the pandemic. The air quality and very high ceilings makes me feel very comfortable. It’s only been a few weeks and I already notice my posture has improved from years of working at my computer. I also have noticed that the tightness in my lower back and neck is better. Best of all, it is my favorite form of exercise. I look forward to the light stretch and fun of hanging upside down that makes me feel like I’m doing something good for my body. There’s also a mindfulness component that helps me rebalance and focus on myself so I can set personal goals to stay in balance. I’m definitely not flexible but I love how every level of fitness can take the classes. I drive 45 minutes each way and it’s so worth it. Thanks for being a great place and for the best instructors of any fitness minded center. Thanks so much, Suzanne

Having been to dozens of fitness studios in Boston, SWET remains my #1 favorite. Walking through the South End to get there is a joy, and being in the studio is an incredible experience each time. All of the instructors are professional and knowledgeable, and somehow still surprise you with each class. The variety of classes they offer also keeps you on your toes!
Aerial hammocks provide a method of movement that is truly unique in the way it allows you to move your body. The silk allows you to access muscle groups you are mostly unable to access or at least unable to access in such depth that you walk out of each class feeling renewed and open.
10/10 experiences at SWET, I highly highly recommend!

I really really love coming to Swet! I've tried most of the classes and have had nearly every teacher, and they're all really lovely and supportive and friendly, and are really focused on safety in the silks. I've always struggled to find a form of cardio that I enjoyed and could stick to, and this is the one thing that I found I could do 4+ times a week! It's been really great for getting me back in shape post-pandemic.
I've been going to classes regularly for about 2.5 months, and it's amazing to feel the difference. I've lost a bit of weight, but more importantly, I'm sticking to it and I can see myself getting stronger. It's crazy to think how in my 3rd class, I couldn't keep up halfway through, and now I can do all sorts of flips and lifts. I love being able to track myself making progress and getting stronger by developing skills in the silks — it's a super motivating way to get moving.
It's a little intimidating and a little bit difficult at first, but you can go at your own pace and take a break in a rest position if you need to. After about a month of regular practice, I started to really feel the difference! Note: the easier place to start after beginner classes is the Aerial Yoga and Aerial Pilates classes. Aerial Fitness, Core + Arms, and Barre are much more fast-paced and really get your heart pumping/make you sore the next day!
I've brought friends to beginner classes, and they always really enjoy it as well. Highly recommend trying it out, even if you're just beginning a fitness journey!

This is the best studio for overall physical and mental health. I am an 'older' member and have been going to SWET for over 4 years (maybe even 5). I have taken both classes and private sessions, which have made me physically stronger, challenged me both in body and mind and I still love it. I have spinal issues and my docs keep telling me to continue what I am doing because it is helping me avoid surgery. Inversions are great for my spine and the strength training, balancing and stretching make me feel great. I can't say enough about the staff. Silviya and Veronika are amazing (I have yet to meet other new instructors). Their knowledge of body mechanics is so valuable to this workout and their willingness to help students on a personal level is seen in very few studios. I can't describe how fun (and challenging) the antigravity workout is - you need to try it for yourself.

I have been an aerial lover for years but recently moved to the Boston area and have been in search of a new studio...I did my research and chose Swet because of the wide range of offerings and class times. I also brought along my roommate who is brand new and we were both welcomed and challenged but made to feel very comfortable at whatever fitness level we were at!! I love SWET studio--this was the place where I discovered aerial yoga, and realized that yoga doesn't have to uncomfortable. In the past I've gone to yoga classes where I felt conscious because I couldn't do all the poses everyone else seemed to be doing so easily.

But mostly, these classes are the most fun fitness classes I have ever taken. I've taught everything from zumba to pound to barre, and the added silks just bring another element to it. I definitely -highly- recommend SWETSTUDIO!
The staff is very friendly, the space is clean, and the experience is really fun.
I first came here because my mom wanted to try it out but she didn’t want to go alone. I’ve never been one to exercise (nor had I ever done any type of yoga before coming here) but after trying out aerial yoga, I fell in love with it.
The beginners class is very well taught and allows for students to quickly move onto intermediate classes. There’s also an extensive variety of classes to choose from- deep stretch, meditation, fitness, Pilates, Barre, etc.
So whether you want to increase your flexibility, relax, build strength, or create balance... there’s a class for you!
Unlike other environments where I’ve felt self conscious about not exercising the “right way”, this studio has created a space where everyone is welcomed, and you get to learn a little bit more about your own body each time.
Don’t be afraid to try it out!!

My first experience trying Aerial Yoga under the expert guidance & supervision of the Swet team couldn't have been better. Their clean & fragrant space, witty selection of music makes the ambience filled with positivity & helps relieving all the stress. One may easily get addicted to the varieties of aerial classes they offer. Naming a few - 'Deep stretch' provides a deep tissue massage, 'Pilates' helps in strengthening & conditioning the core muscles. Doing workouts while also having fun in the hammock never felt so amazing. Swet team makes the experience for anyone smooth & comfortable, while also keeping the premises covid safe by taking the appropriate measures.

I've been a member of Swet Studio for a few years now, and while I now live outside of the city, I much prefer working out here and will gladly make the 25 minute drive one or more times a week.
The aerial classes are so fun and engaging that they never feel like simply monotonous exercise. Don't be fooled however - you are indeed toning and strengthening while twirling and flipping (you'll feel it the next day!). Every instructor is an aerial guru and will make you feel motivated and confident in the hammock, even if you feel a bit unsure about hanging upside down at first. Any uncertainty or fear you had at the start of class will quickly have melted away by the end.
The cherry on top are the rowing and fusion fitness classes offered several times a week, for when you want to add more cardio workouts to your routine here. The class sizes of both the aerial and non-aerial classes are the perfect size, often between 4 and 10 people, so you will always get personal attention and motivation in every session.
Lastly? The appearance and cleanliness! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming but also feels "special" when you walk in. Swet Studio feels like a cosmopolitan boutique workout studio but never comes across as pretentious. (You will not feel intimidated or overwhelmed in this space like in other gyms/studios throughout Boston) So if you are curious about aerial fitness, give the 2-class trial offer a go!

I recently attended two aerial yoga classes at Swet Studio ("Beginner" and "Deep Stretch") and have been raving about it ever since to friends and family! The positive energy of the instructors is contagious - they're so knowledgeable and helpful! During each class, the instructors were sure to regularly check in with each of us and they would also provide a variety of pose options for people of all abilities - in case you're looking for something more advanced or a deeper stretch, or if you need a rest or an alternative to inversion. Even though I had never done aerial yoga before, I felt welcomed, supported, and safe throughout my experience, and I was even able to learn some flips and inversions! The facilities are also very clean and soothing, with high-quality exercise equipment, dressing rooms, and mints/water on hand for dizziness. I'm looking forward to visiting again soon.

Went in for a beginner class with no experience and it was lovely. I had never done anything like this and still felt completely safe during multiple inversions. There was a great mix of strength/core work with stretching and increasing flexibility. The instructors were great about offering help when needed but also allowing for you to work through things even if it took a little extra time. I never felt rushed or like I was falling behind. I would definitely recommend trying out a class and seeing if it's for you.

Loved my class here! I took the beginner hammock class! It's really awesome class! Veronica had great energy! You should definitely not be concerned or apprehensive taking aerial. It's so exciting and relaxing! The hammocks are well rigged on steel beams and can hold up to 1000 pounds! Loved it! The class started on time and ran for a full hour! Excellent value as well. The classes here will make you strong and you need not worry if it's something you want to try! It's so fun and really stretches you out. The zero compression inversion acts like an inversion table. Awesome class!

They care about you as a person and your goals, they remember you when you walk in the door as well! Veronica is amazing love when I get her for classes.

This studio is fantastic! I first visited a few months ago because I wanted to try aerial fitness, and I ended up coming back many times because I had so much fun. I took the AG fundamentals class four times, in addition to one AG yoga and one AG pilates class. I've taken classes taught by Silviya and Veronika, and they are both very friendly, professional, and helpful in making sure everyone stays safe and enjoys themselves, especially when inverting. They were also very helpful in explaining the intermediate classes to me when I first moved up from the fundamentals classes.
The studio space is beautiful and spacious with a very relaxing and positive ambiance, and at the end of every class I feel stronger, taller, more flexible, and less stressed!

I have been attending SWETstudio for about 3 months now, and I can't say enough good things about them. I can already feel a difference in my body, and my hip and back pain have subsided considerably from the practice. The staff at the studio are positive, attentive and inspiring. I look forward to my visits, and have even brought my mother to a class. Every new class, is a fun adventure! Definitely worth visiting!

I came to the studio for the Restorative in Hammock class and looooved how I felt afterwords. The studio is very clean and inviting, as well as the check in folks! The instructor was very personable, and focused the exercises on areas of the body we expressed tightness in at the beginning of class. I'd like to see more beginner class times offered so we can get to the higher intensity classes sooner.

Love this place !!! A place everyone just needs to try out once at least and I'd be shocked if they only go one time! My plan was to go just the once to see what it was all about just being plain nosey and there was a buy one get one free offer at the time so i thought why not go try something a bit differnt!!!!! It's fun it's so DIFFERNT to any other kind of workout and the stretching makes my back feel so good the tunes are pumping and the instructors are just the best i was so nervous the first time and they make you feel so as ease and they make you not feel silly asking questions or asking for help ..it's a pretty small class so there is always someone close to help with your invertions it's -also relaxing at the end u get to lie up in the cocoon which i looove...:::a hidden gem..

The Antigraviy-Yoga class at the Swet Studio is so revitalizing. Every time I go I leave feeling grounded and balanced. The yoga class is the perfect way to realign my energies after a stressful week. It's also an awesome work-out as well! Christie is a wonderful instructor, and I would definitely recommend taking this class.

I highly recommend taking classes at Swet Studio! The organized and clean facility is amazing and has a cool chic-industrial vibe. The instructors are helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly: professional. There are a variety of classes including aerial barre, fitness, and pilates. The beginner aerial class is great as it touches on things practiced in the specialized classes. I have been attending Swet Studio for a year and I enjoy each class!

Swet studio is amazing. Silviya has done something really special creating this place!!!!!!. I have been going about 8 months and am in the best shape I have been in since high school. The SWET FULL BODY AND SWET ABS classes are my absolute favorite! I feel stronger every week. Even if I am in the worst mood I ALWAYS feel better after I do a class here. I only wish I discovered I loved rowing years ago!!! This place is truly a gem and Silviya and Veronika are great instructors. I highly recommend trying it out!!! 💙

This was my first time doing aerial yoga and I loved it! The studio was really great overall. I took the beginners class and they had a main instructor and another instructor walking around the class which was really helpful. I thought they were really supportive and helped make the most of a new experience for most people.

I went to Swet studio fro a private class with Christie for a bachelorette party. I loved it so much that I went back. I did AG (Anti Gravity) beginner class with Silviya and AG pilates classes with Christie. It is a new way to workout (and workout you do) and you feel great afterwards, mostly for my back which tends to be tense all the time. I now need to try AG core. The instructors are amazing and the studio spotless.

Went during a business trip to get in a workout on a rowing machine. Not a fan of those water rowers, but Veronica was very accommodating, the place was clean and organized, and it was nicely decorated.

I have not been to Swet Studio in a while due to work and living a bit far from the studio, but I have taken a couple of their Anti-Gravity classes and loved the experience!
The instructors are super helpful and very encouraging and do not force you to do anything you are uncomfortable doing.
The instructors also stay after class for a little so you can chat with them about the class or even ask them to take a picture of you doing anything you learned in class to commemorate the experience.
The studio is overall very lovely and super cozy. I enjoyed everything from the beginning to the end of class and felt motivated to push myself and was super relaxed once class was over.
My only complaint is the class was so much fun it felt like the hour passed by in a minute!

Completely unethical management of the place!!!
No respect for medical conditions, absolute unwillingness to respect the client ... once they don't like what you have to say, just stopped replying.
Be ware of the fake attitude! Such a shame!
P.S. my very first negative review ever, but weeks of ignoring my emails ... just brought it.

I've been going to Swet studio regularly for over a year now. I first started going there about 8 classes per month, and now I go there about 4 times per week (it gets addictive!). The studio has a boutique feeling to it with cool industrial/modern decorations. It is always an energetic environment, from the fun ambience of the colorful lighting to the upbeat music playing in the background. Because the classes are capped at 15 people, they are intimate and welcoming, and it ensures that you get all the attention you need from the instructors.
Speaking of instructors, Silviya and Veronika are the best instructors I've ever had! They are friendly, encouraging, and just fabulous :) They spend time on each client to make sure each exercise is done with the correct form. I still remember after my very first rowing class at Swet, I got an email from Veronika asking how I was feeling and how I like the class. She wanted to make sure I was feeling well from the workout, but still had just enough soreness to go back for more- and I sure did! The instructors also make sure you reach towards your personal fitness goals in a healthy way. I've steadily lost over 20 lbs and 3 clothing sizes since I started at Swet with the help from Silviya and Veronika (XOXO).
I love both the rowing and anti-gravity classes. If you're looking for a good HIIT work out, check out the Swet full body and Swet abs classes. Swet row is also a wonderful cardio workout that ensures you're burning up more calories than ever! Anti-gravity classes are always fun and challenging. Trust me, it's a revelation when you conquer moves on the hammock up-side-down!
Go check out Swet! you won't be disappointed!

I absolutely loved my classes at Swet Studio. The instructors created an amazing, peaceful environment that was the appropriate balance between challenging your body and relaxing/stretching out tense muscles. I wish I could take a class at Swet Studio daily and I highly recommend it to anyone considering taking a class. I'm not a very flexible person nor very big into yoga, but I love these classes!

I've always wanted to try aerial yoga, but I had no idea there was a place in Boston! Luckily, one of my friends knew Swet Studio offered the classes so we decided to try it. It definitely didn't disappoint. I bought the buy one get one free first class offer and it was a good deal, seeing how a single class can be around $20. It's a great way to see if this is your type of thing without the commitment!
I took the First Time Riders class and then the AG Beginner class. I didn't really feel like the First Time Riders class did much for me. It was helpful to learn the poses and transitions, but I wouldn't use one of your classes on this unless you're really terrified at the thought of the hammocks. I would've just gone straight to an AG Beginner class because they pick up the speed a bit more, but they will still help you with poses if it's your first. They also recommend taking two AG Beginner classes before you do the other AG classes, just so you are comfortable with getting in and out of poses more quickly. I'm not sure how necessary this is, but I'm tempted to just go into an AG Core/AG Fit/AG Barre class. The beginner classes will do a really good job with teaching you the basics but you won't really sweat. The inversions can be tricky, but the instructors do a really good job with making you comfortable and teaching.
Come early! I hit unexpected traffic along the way and I had such a hard time with finding parking. I parked a couple blocks away from the studio and was huffing and puffing trying to find the place. It's right next to Blackbird Doughnuts, btw in case you get lost like I did. Do not forget to wear a long sleeved shirt or to be on time. You will not be allowed to attend class if you don't follow both rules. For your first time, they will make you fill out a questionnaire so allow yourself ample time to find parking, find the place and fill out the required forms. I did see that there was a parking lot nearby, so consider that if you know you're running a bit late and won't have time to look for parking.
Sign up for the Perkville rewards system! I'm disappointed that I didn't know about it before because you get points for referring friends and checking in. These points could redeem a free class for you. I went with a bunch of friends and it would have been nice to refer each other and get points towards a class. Anyways, it was so much fun and I can't wait to come back!

My friends and I have been wanting to try an aerial yoga class for so long, so we took advantage of Swet Studio's new client buy one get one free class deal. Swet Studio also has a reward system with perkville where you can earn points towards free classes! If you refer your friend, you get 50 points and they get 3 classes for the price of one.
I recommend heading there early, because they have a very strict late policy. You'll need time to fill out a waiver if it's your first visit, as well as getting measured for your hammock. We were definitely nervous going into our first time riders class, but our instructor Jen did such a great job at walking us through each step. We did stretches and poses in and out of the hammock, learned how to get into an inversion and how to do a backflip out. I never thought I'd be able to back flip out of the hammock after my first class, but I did!!! I had such a good time at the first time rider's class that I immediately signed up for the beginners yoga class. Beginners yoga with Lauren was the perfect next step from first time riders. The poses were more challenging and I definitely felt the burn.
I had a great experience at Swet Studio. It's a welcoming environment with very knowledgeable and friendly instructors. Instead of feeling intimidated by a completely new workout, I was having so much fun with it. I will definitely be back!

I decided to try out their Aerial Yoga classes about a month ago through ClassPass. It was so fun! I actually started out with the hip hop yoga class, but have since taken the beginner class, the regular yoga and AG core. I'd suggest taking the beginner's class, but if you're experienced with yoga or dance, it should come easily. The environment is very cool and I always feel welcome.
I've taken classes with Silviya, Jennifer, Christie and Kaitlin and all are incredibly friendly and fantastic instructors. If you're looking to shake up your workout routine, or like me, particularly enjoy spending time upside down, check out Swet!
Update: Recently participated in their aerial barre class, which was a fantastic workout with Jennifer. Will definitely be going back for that one!

I have taken two AntiGravity classes at Swet Studio in the South End. Both were great! The first class I took, AG Beginner, was with Silviya (I definitely recommend starting with a beginner class if you're new to aerial yoga). We did some traditional yoga with the hammock, as well as inversions (when you hang upside down) and back flips. The second class I took, AG Barre: Aerial Dance, was with Jennifer. This class mostly works your lower body (calves, ankles, quads, and butt) and lengthens your leg muscles. Both instructors were very friendly and gave clear instructions on how to transition in and out of poses. I highly recommend Swet Studio if you like to try new classes or if you're just looking mix up your workouts! I can't wait to try another class!

I purchased the intro offer and attended Kaitlin's 4pm Saturday class. The instruction was fantastic and easy to follow, yet we still got to go into some super fun inversions. The hip flexor portion really dug in like no other, which I SERIOUSLY appreciated because I often struggle to get really deep into that area. Overall, a really great way to spend an afternoon with friends!

I had a great time at my first class. It was different from anything I've ever tried. The instructor Sylvia was super helpful in making sure all first times were comfortable and doing the moves properly. She even gave us time for photos afterwards which was really appreciated by everyone. We got some awesome phones while hanging upside down on the swings. I want to continue attending these classes because it was super fun and I definitely felt it in my core the next day.

I started attending AG yoga classes at Swet Studio and it's awesome! They're in a perfect location in the South End and the times for classes are really convenient for getting there after work. The classes are usually one hour long so you don't feel sore or over-worked after. The space is pretty and clean with changing rooms, a bathroom, and a small space to hang out. The teacher, Jennifer, was really helpful and didn't push anyone to do anything they weren't comfortable with. BEST stretch ever!

Everyone at Swet Studio loves helping others learn and improve. The instructors are great professionals who also approach people in a very friendly and warm manner. If, like me, you are a beginner who is looking to try new and exciting classes, they will work with you to help you overcome any initial anxiety. The aerial yoga classes are absolutely amazing. I have taken the ones for newcomers and also the all levels one and I can say that every person in the class receives a lot of personal attention. If you go often enough, you would be able to see improvement in how you feel right away. I also took a wonderful meditation class that really helped me focus and relax, both physically and mentally. The studio space itself is wonderful. It's very clean and welcoming, never overcrowded and designed in a fun, but safe way. I really liked the choice of music for the meditation class and I think they use very fun music for the rowing classes an the other workout options. I find booking classes online very easy and I have been able to reschedule 12 hours in advance without any problems. There are plenty of early morning classes and classes after 6 pm for those who work full-time schedules.

I found this studio on ClassPass while looking for a short midday yoga class that I could pop out for during lunch. With much luck I was able to sign up for the "Levitation (floating and meditation)" was available yesterday. I was able to find this studio easily and had no trouble finding a meter right out front.
Walking in I was greeting by a very warm and welcoming Tanuja. The studio itself has a great feeling and I was excited to hear about the wide variety of classes that Swet offers.
We got started with the meditation straight away. Tanuja explained, in a very calming and comfortable way, how to get into the hammocks (not sure the technical term for these). I have no experience with meditation but she talked me through the entire process. The session flew by...I couldnt believe it when she said 20 minutes had passed (I usually have trouble meditating for more than a minute or two).
By the time we finished the heavy chest that I have been feeling for the past year felt lighter for the first time. I felt a wave of energy and extreme happiness as I walked out of the studio. I would recommend this class to EVERYONE. The studio is fantastic and Tanuja is a bright light. FANTASTIC!!
