First time playing this course, today. It was on my wish list for 5 years, and I finally made the trip from Connecticut to play it with my friend. I had high expectations going in, and they were exceeded. This place is unbelievable. The course seems to be the perfect blend of having difficult shots, but also reachable ones as well. The perfect balance, and plenty of hole variety. Scenic views - hole 16 might be my favorite hole in all of New England. Can’t recommend this place enough. The staff was incredibly friendly, and inviting, which is always a plus.

Awesome course and experience! The staff here is unbelievable. My group and I were running late for our tee time due to a major traffic jam, so we called and explained the situation and instead of giving us a hard time like some courses would, the staff at the Ranch was extremely understandable and were able to accommodate us with a slightly later time on a busy Saturday. When we arrived, everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly, and the course’s conditions were superb. The Ranch is definitely one of the best public tracks in New England and we absolutely will be back for another round sometime soon!

Looked at this venue during my wedding planning process. Space was beautiful, just not what I was really looking for. Didn't love the two ceremony spaces that were available but the barn was beautiful the way that it was decorated. The bridal suite was really nice too. We did not end up choosing to have our wedding here because the ceremony spaces just didn't do it for us. The barn was absolutely gorgeous with the lighting and drapes but it just wasn't enough for me to be able to say yes. As far as my tour with Angie, she was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgable and professional. She was able to answer all of my questions and provide valuable insight to the venue and spaces they offer. I think that this space is absolutely gorgeous but it just wasn't for us.

Quintessential Fall golf, terrific course, lightning fast greens, challenging overall but some really gettable holes. I drove the green on 2 and made the Eagle🦅, and had a 9 iron into par 5 9th hole, tap in birdie (NBD). Needless to say, took over $600 from my friends!

If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Played a quick 9 on our way out to the Berkshires and we will make a return trip just to play. My partner & I play a fair amount and we were both so impressed with how friendly and professional the staff is here. It’s clear they enjoy what they do are treated well and it reflects on some of the best customer service I’ve experienced at a golf course. I particularly felt very welcome as a member of the LGBTQ community but honestly that fact doesn’t matter, they’re just nice to everyone, that’s the energy they give off. The course was in championship level shape and fairly challenging, carts are equipped with accurate GPS and blind spots are covered with a Red/Green light system so you don’t get driven into or accidentally drive into the group in front of you. The Ranch is well worth the trip to central Mass for a more than enjoyable round.

Course is in good shape.. but I recommend rescheduling your teetime if there is any rain.. Was cart path only and the course was pretty much dry other then 2-3 holes.. it was also 90 degrees out.. frustrating course to play with how their paths are constructed.. was also a 5 hour round.. not worth the $110.

This place is a real gem! Not sure how I hadn’t heard of it before, but very well worth the 70-minute drive from Connecticut. I’ve been around all sorts of golf courses for 50+ years, absolutely everything about this place is great. The course layout, maintenance, speed of play, staff, food and concessions, greens super (if you like fast greens with undulations), I could go on and on, but won’t. Can’t wait to return in the fall to see the foliage. Even if you. Elongated to a private club, get a group of your golfing friends and head to Southwick MA! You’ll be glad you did.

Played July 17th for the first time. Beautiful course and a great layout. The staff were amazing, they bring a cart to you in the parking lot. Thankfully the carts have gps as the course can challenging so club selection is important and the accuracy of the gps helped huge. Took me a little over 2 hours to get there but absolutely worth it. I would definitely recommend going. Their restaurant was super clean and the food was really good. The barn theme throughout the property is really cool too. Outstanding job all around.

Played the course a few weeks ago and it was in fantastic condition. Great layout, challenging but fair, and spectacular views of western Mass. Food was also great and the staff is super friendly. Side note - the head golf pro Nick Tamburni went over and above for my group and helped us locate a lost range finder which capped off a great experience! Highly recommend making the trip!

Loved this course. Staff are very courteous, and it is very well maintained. There are some great views on the back 9. Challenging greens, maybe a little slower than I expected but the area has gotten a lot of rain recently and it is early in the season. There are a few fun steep downhill holes which I love and do very well on! Lots of blind shots, so did not shoot my best as this was my first time golfing here. Not a ton of water, definitely a plus. Overall just a beautiful, fun day outside. Will definitely return!!

While booking online the date reset when a change was made. When we arrived the day we originally booked, we were told the reservation was the prior week. You would think the course would be ethical enough to offer us some compensation but we paid in full for both rounds. Now if we had called for the reservation no prepayment would have been made. So the course made 2x the money on a foursome yet offered a minuscule discount another round. No thanks, course wasn’t that good. Not worth patronizing poorly manages businesses.

The Ranch is a nice course that's always in good shape. The staff is always warm and friendly...and so are the members that I've been paired with. They only need to invest in a power washer to clean their carts. I've never had a clean cart at the start. Otherwise, a highly recommended place to play.

Great place to relax have dinner and drinks and listen to live music! The food was great, the employees were awesome, and the music was on point. When the sun went down and it got chilly the manager went and got blankets for people if they were cold! Felt like hanging out on your back deck. Will definitely be going back! A friend of mine and I played yesterday. We usually play the Ranch at least 5 times a year. Most of the time we walk. I am disappointed that we were charged the same rate as people who take a cart. When I asked why the rate was the same, I was told that it didn't matter if you were walking or riding. We play many courses throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut, this is never the case.

Course was in good shape for this time of year. Pace of play was VERY slow and never saw a ranger once. Carts have GPS and a warning that your behind but never a note from the clubhouse to get the 2 foursomes ahead of us moving along. Group in front of us continuously re teed after poor drives on almost every hole. Waited on tee boxes and fairways almost all day. 5+ hours just too long without a nudge from the clubhouse.

Amazing golf course in MA and near CT

It has great layouts and landscapes, wonderful maintenance in greens, fairways and roughs. Holes 9 and 16 (i.e. Glacier and Ski Hill) are iconic ones. During fall season, the foliage is also another amazing thing for us to enjoy. And the electric golf cart which has GPS is good too.

Went to a wedding reception here 9 days ago. My granddaughter got married. Everything about the place was wounderful. The place is nice, the food was good, all employee's were friendly and helpful. We all had a great time. I didn't want the evening to end. Of course the man my Granddaughter and her new husband hired to play the music was very good. Plenty of good tunes to dance to and he has a good voice, yup, he sanged some songs for us. Only one down side. The mashed potatoes we had with our meal were good, i love mash potatoes, but a bit on the salty side. Sorry guys, only mentioned it so you would know for the next time you serve them. Thank's for making our time there happy memories. :)
