Spent a few days in Marblehead recently and after some research I scheduled some classes here. Their online scheduling made is easy & efficient. The place is beautiful and very clean. The classes were great and the instructor and community were very welcoming. Can't wait to return.

The instructors at the yoga loft are some of the best I've ever practiced with. They are so welcoming and (unlike many other studios) their all levels classes are actually for all levels. The teachers are particularly gifted at guiding you through proper alignment and providing a lot of modifications making the class accessible to beginners and more experienced yogis alike.

I've been taking their yoga teacher training and I'm thrilled with my investment. The YTT instructors are fantastic and I've grown so much more than I ever could have expected.

They recently added heated vinyasa and power classes which are challenging in the best of ways. I can't recommend this place enough!

Sunday I had the pleasure of taking a yin yoga class at the studio for my first time. I found the studio to be an excellent experience clean and professional. I enjoyed taking Lisa's yin class who is a outstanding and knowledgeable teacher. Her voice is very soothing to the ears and is helpful to relax and really enjoy the moment on the mat. Thanks for the excellent experience.

I can’t say enough great things about the Yoga Loft in Marblehead. I feel so lucky to have found such a warm and welcoming yoga community. During the summer months, rotating members of the Yoga Loft community took turns hosting yoga in their back yards (which provided serene backdrops/picturesque views of our town). But even during the winter months, I felt extremely safe in their studio due to their very robust Covid safety protocols. Fairly certain I wouldn’t have made it through this last year without the Yoga Loft!

The Yoga Loft is great! Julie, the new owner, is maintaining the same classes and teachers as well as adding her new classes and workshops. The actual studio is big, but cozy and very peaceful to be in. The reception area is large with hooks and cubbies for belongings. They are now carrying Prana yoga wear, which is my favorite, super comfortable and great quality. I highly recommend this studio for anyone no matter what yoga experience you have. There is something for everyone.

This studio is the singular best place for yoga. I went here, practically dragged by a friend. Now I am thrilled to go workout: something I never ever thought I'd experience. Cant wait for their next restorative workshop! Those are great.

I recently came to Salem to visit a friend. As some background, I have been a regular at a studio in Ashville, NC ... one which I feel to be a well run, nicely appointed studio with highly proficient instructors. My friend had been raving about this "loft studio" that she has been going to. I was very dubious about her reviews, but have to say that The Yoga Loft greatly exceeded my expectations.

I typically take hot power classes, and consequently coerced my friend into taking one of the Yoga Loft's Power classes. My first impressions were that it was so easy to enter the space and feel welcome. I hate to admit, but my studio in Ashville can sometimes have "an attitude". Affluent women dressed to the 9s, competing to see who can look better ... both in dress and in pose. The Yoga Loft felt so different. Lots of Lululemon, for sure, but a very warm and inviting energy. No pretense.

In addition to that, the studio is beautiful. VERY clean and very well kept. Serene and peaceful, yet bustling with energy ... hard to describe. The studio space didn't feel as hot as I was used to, but it is a rather large space. Once class got going, however, I built a sweat as strong as any of the classes I typically attend.

Over the 5 days I was in Salem, we went to 4 classes ... 2 Power classes, one middle of the road class, and on gentle/restorative class (after indoor climbing that afternoon). I will say that for every class, the welcoming, community feeling was very evident. People clearly enjoy begin at The Yoga Loft. And every instructor I took, though very different, were all VERY skilled in their instruction, and very comfortable leading their class.

Having taken classes at studios around the country, I would probably rank The Yoga Loft in the top 3 - 5 studios that I have practiced at. If you are in the Salem/Marblehead area, it would be well worth trying a class there.

Hope this helps :)
