Love Title Boxing North End. Knowledgeable coaches who are helpful and engaging. I’d give Carly more than a 10 if I could. She does a great job of motivating and challenging everyone in the class.

Boxing is a great workout and the instructors are great, but I highly discourage you from being a member here. This gym is currently run by someone, Tivon, who will tell you he values members and then will never help you, will dismiss you when you get wrongly charged, will teach his employees not to help anyone for human mistakes, and will instead treat you like an idiot. If at all possible, I encourage you to at least go to a different location. He's on site on this one often so his attitude and dismissal is hard to avoid here.

I’m only writing this because of the frustration I felt canceling my membership.
I had been told by the staff that it would be smarter to just freeze my account instead of canceling it, unknowing that I would pay two installments of 9.99 and also my membership fee of 108 dollars for the entire month due to canceling, even though I haven’t attended in months due to unplanned moving. The staff should inform every member who may not come back within the next month that the freeze is really not worth it and an unnecessary expense.

Title boxing club at North Station was horrible. I hadn’t even started the class before they began pushing memberships—no interest in my fitness goals, just straight to selling. It gave a very money-hungry first impression.

The facilities were disappointing: bathrooms were dirty and smelled bad, there were few punching bags, and the walkway near the showers was blocked with bags. The water fountain was filthy—can’t imagine how they expect members to drink from it.

After class, I returned the gloves to the front desk, and they didn’t even clean them before putting them back—no wonder they smell terrible. I had planned on signing up, but the environment was not welcoming or professional. I’ll be trying a different location instead.

I loved the attention and support I received. It was my first time taking boxing classes and I didn't know what to expect. I was welcomed into an environment that felt safe. I felt supported and guided. I also experienced a good balance of pushing myself while taking the time to do things at my own pace. Tivon helped me get started and situated. Alex did an amazing job on providing support on my first class.

Was a little intimidated for my first class. I've never tried boxing and wasn't sure what to expect. Everyone was great and made me feel welcome. Joe helped me with my wraps and gave us the basics. I was worried people would be staring. But no one does. Everyone just focuses on the coaches. I've come to really love the classes. Coaches are very helpful and truly motivational. I don't know what I was worried about! You should check out Title Boxing. It's a great place. And Annette and Carly are wonderful. All the coaches are great.

Fine gym but really sketchy subscription practices. I signed up for a 6 month membership and they continued charging me for months after that period ended. When I noticed because of a payment failure notification, they made me pay this outstanding fee in order to cancel my membership. After wasting over 300 bucks I thought this was the last $112 charge they would have me pay but after canceling my subscription I got another charge the next month! They would not answer the phone all day and when they did they told me that I had to pay this charge because it counted as my last month after I canceled. I’ve also had a friend be charged several months after cancellation here. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY!

Excellent boxing classes and environment- the instructors do a great job.

Low rating because they spam your personal cell with texts on holidays/weekends even after you reply “STOP”. And it comes from different numbers, so I can’t just block. Whatever you do, do NOT give them your real cell phone, and perhaps email.

My first time visiting this gym and I was treated horribly-especially by the general manager, Tivon. I later found out from a current member (my sister) that he was talking badly about me behind my back. Completely unprofessional and mean-spirited.
Tivon, in particular, was extremely rude and dismissive, just because I didn't want to sign up for a membership right away due to my work schedule. He came off arrogant, aggressive, and completely unwelcoming. A GM like him shouldn't be representing any gym. He's not just unprofessional-he's downright nasty. if I could give it a 0 star I would just because of this experience FYI THE ONLY GOOD THING about this place is the coach they were extremely nice!

The money hungry manager (who I later found out was fired) convinced me to sign up for a $99/month membership. I then cancelled said membership yet I still continued to be charged monthly. For months I had tried to email, call and no one answers. Months later I was finally able to get through and I was assured that my membership was cancelled. I then requested a refund and was told they would “call me back” to see what they could do for reimbursement. Never got a call back. Then I see I was charged AGAIN even though I was told it was cancelled. I was able to get through and my membership was finally cancelled in MAY when I cancelled in DECEMBER. Tivon, the GM, said that he was going to see what they could do for reimbursing and instead I get a email offering me 5 months of unlimited membership to the gym. Now why would I want to return to this gym after they continually changed my credit card when I followed the cancellation policy? I called my credit card company to claim fraud and that was how I was able to get my money back. Shame on this company. This is one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. Do NOT sign up for a membership here because they’ll just keep charging you and not get back to you and you won’t be able to get off.

I am a former firefighter and I had to stop coming to classes due to injuries. Despite having arthritis in both of my knees they made me walk to to the location to cancel my membership. After that they still charged me for two more months of service. No one has gotten back to me despite numerous attempts to contact them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I have been paying for about three months worth of membership when I have come in to cancel and also called to communicate with someone to just get me out of the commitment of paying for a membership of a gym I never go to. They said since the pay were already made, I just have to come in person again to cancel. Totally unprofessional on their end and would definitely not go back considering my consistency to stop being in this boxing club. I would only recommend this gym as a good way to relieve stress or anger healthily, but otherwise this place is a total money grab.

I called before my membership renewal date to cancel because I was very sick and they didn’t let me cancel unless I came in person. I came in person when I felt a bit better, but it was just after the payment renewed and the manager insisted I would have to pay for yet another month despite my efforts to cancel on time. I would have rated them higher before this because there were a couple instructors I liked, but the manager’s money-focused gimmicks were high pressure and tone deaf. Now I don’t want to come back to any Title Boxing franchise at all and I’m being forced to waste more money than I should. They tell me it’s just their policy so you can expect this at any location.

This franchise is heavily reliant on making people feel like they're part of a community to get good reviews/keep folks happy. It takes advantage of the human desire to belong somewhere.. The quality of the experience does not align with the cost of membership, please do not waste your money. As a long time boxer/kickboxer, it is a gimmick to get you in the door. They will not help you improve your form and there are a lot of things you can do that will be more beneficial to your muscle development than their limited class offerings.

I just joined at the beginning of February and I’ve really enjoyed the classes I’ve taken. The facility itself is very clean and has a good vibe. I’ve liked each individual instructor that I’ve had; they all have their own style but each instructor has been very motivating and brings a good energy to the class. I never knew a boxing gym would’ve been my style, but I already feel that this is something that is easy to incorporate into my life; it’s an awesome workout and a perfect stress reliever!

Do not join this gym unless you enjoy running through hoops to cancel a membership. Voicemails and online forms are not responded to and the desk is not staffed appropriately. They will drag out getting back to you as you incur additional charges. There are many other options in Boston with better facilities and customer service from which to choose. Google needs a zero stars option.

The sessions usually involve a mix of heavy-bag boxing and core training. They also have a small selection of gym equipment, so it's a two-in-one if you are looking for a gym. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and every session felt like a great workout. I am confident all their trainers are great, but I mostly trained with coach Travis and it has been a blast! He is very motivated and I felt the sessions involved just the right amount of pain to improve. The sessions are usually 45-50 minutes. Although that is usually plenty, there was one longer session from Caleigh that happened only once and I wished there were more! I unfortunately had to stop training here as I moved out of Boston, but I will definitely be back if I am in Boston again!

3 stars for a nice atmosphere. I would not come back. Details below:

I did boxing for 5 years in the past. I came to this place expecting the reputation of title to focus on form and have a decent boxing workout. At title, they don’t care for form. I have seen people leaning on bags and punching them while the instructor was holding the bag from the other side ???. Be careful here, don’t get injured.

Also I have a concern with privacy. The club asks for a lot of personal information to sign up (dob, addresses, phone numbers, etc).

Title North Station is awesome! If I wasn’t moving, I’m sure I would be staying at the gym indefinitely! Ryan runs the gym so well, it’s always clean, organized, and the classes are a great workout that keep you both interested and motivated. Shane was absolutely my favorite instructor, he was always engaged with the entire class but still kept track of your individual progress and challenged you. So sad to be leaving but will be signing up for the Title location in my new city as soon as I get there!

After a trial and error not liking the Back Bay location, I started taking classes here. First, through Class pass, and then I paid for a membership. Although I’ve been a member of CKO and Ilovekickboxing in the past, this Title location has quickly my favorite work out studio!

Firstly, it is spacious and even on weekends or rush hour, you’re never bumping into other members bags. The instructors are mostly amazing, each with their own style and personality. They pay keen attention to students and are encouraging! The class schedule is flexible and offers a lot, but I do wish there were 60 minutes/75 minute classes more than once a week like they offer at other locations.

Overall, sad that I had to move out of the area, or else I would’ve loved to have continued here. Truly a kick a*** workout studio!

The trainers are very good, but the management of the club is poor. You will never get answers at the front desk. They switched to a new system in Oct without telling all the members, and the booking system is broken. In addition, the gym is not clean. I found Title through ClassPass about 2 years ago. I'm not athletic and truthfully don't really enjoy exercising, but wanted to find something I enjoyed to improve my overall health. I went to a class and liked what they were teaching but didn't find myself gelling with the instructor. I decided to give it another chance and went to one of Jared's classes. I am so glad I went back - I enjoyed the class so much that I signed up for a membership that day. The Newbury St location is closer to my work, but I went to this location for almost two years (also in the opposite direction of my home) because everyone from the front desk staff to the trainers were so amazing! The classes were great and the trainers always pushed you to do your best. They are also great about developing skills, which is why I think I really got into boxing. It wasn't just some aerobics class - they focused a lot on technique as well.

In addition to the classes, I did PT with Ian. I have had other personal trainers in the past who only seemed to only want to take your money. This was not the case at all with Ian - he was really invested in my progress and tried to teach me how to do workouts independently. I really appreciated that. I sadly am moving out of Boston so had to end my membership, but will definitely be coming back for a class the next time I'm in Boston!

Highly recommend TBC to anyone looking for a great high intensity workout!

I’m so disappointed. I go to one of the other title franchises regularly through class pass. I work in Boston and some coworkers and I wanted to try this location to see if it would be a good gym to join together. One of my coworkers is halftime in Philadelphia at halftime here in Boston. Upon arrival we were told that she would not be able to participate in the free trial class because she didn’t live in Boston full time. The guy who did our registration forms then proceeded to interrogate her about how often she comes to Boston and if she was “really interested in a membership or just trying to get something for free” and said she could only stay if she paid the drop in rate of $35. Don’t offer a free trial class if you are going to be upset at people for signing up for it. Also are you that desperate of $35. Lastly your rude behavior lost you 3 potential members.

I have been a member at this club for over a year and can't say enough nice things about it. I joined with zero boxing experience and not much overall fitness experience but never felt uncomfortable even during the first class. The instructors here are all so approachable and each have a different style so each class is different which motivates you to be there multiple times a week. They offer a wide range of class times and there are plenty of bags, the members are all super friendly as well. Highly recommend if you are in the area to give these guys a try!

Lots of hanging bags for the lively classes, a ring (which I haven't actually used yet, I assume that's for more 1 on 1 training), and also a small area for cardio and weight training (perfect for when you want a workout but not during a normal class.
