I train with Michael Peyron at Train. Alan has designed and equipped Train thoughtfully and thoroughly. The aesthetic is modern and serene. There is every bit of equipment one would want and importantly, open spaces. Meticulously maintained as well. Working out at Train is like working out in your own private facility.

I love this place. I have been working with my trainer, Megan Beck, for years now and started coming to TRAIN when she started there. She's amazing and I've seen so much progress since I've started working with her. Definitely go see her if you're looking for a trainer who will set goals for you and help you achieve them with no judgement! The studio space is fantastic - they have all the equipment you need, plus everyone is so friendly. I see one of the owners (Steve) every time I go in and he's a great guy. Stephen has been so incredibly wonderful to work with. TRAIN studio was absolutely incredible! They hosted three sessions of shadowboxing for Northeastern CHAARG, which is a women’s health and wellness organization promoting women in college in fitness!! Gabi, our instructor, was a Northeastern alum who made the environment incredibly welcoming and was an amazing teacher. She gave great tips and was incredibly helpful to our members who are new to working out and were not familiar with the exercises we were doing. Special thanks to Alan for allowing us to do this!

I had the distinct pleasure of working with Alan Goldsmith at my personal trainer. Not only is he knowledgeable and puts you through a rigorous work out, he also makes it fun! The studio space is quaint yet has all the equipment needed to get a good work out.
Alan also teaches a vinyasa yoga class on Saturdays which is always fabulous. I go every chance at get! He takes you through beginner as well as advanced poses in 90 mins, and I always leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
Highly recommend checking out TRAIN for personal training!

I began personal training with Steve Allison in 2003 at LA Sports Club and remained with him until my relocation to San Francisco in 2006. Since then I’ve had several personal trainers in San Francisco and New York City, and Steve has been the absolute best among the cast of almost 20. I was pleasantly surprised to run into him during a business trip to Boston in 2021 and upon my return to Boston he had capacity to work with me again. I was beyond excited to train with him again! His intimate knowledge of the body’s anatomy and musculature is outstanding, and he has kept me off the chiropractors table for several months now. He is an empath who goes well beyond the scope of the other personal trainers I have worked with. He is truly exceptional and I look forward to working with him for years to come!
