The staff has been working incredibly hard to give us options for working out either live or recorded. There are so many choices and they are all awesome!

I highly recommend Yangs Gym. I’ve been coming for years. The facility is well maintained, the owners are on site everyday, the classes are varied and the teachers excellent. I work out with Jamey. He has been training me for years and I can feel the difference. Because of the nature of my job I need to make sure my back and hands and arms stay strong. Thanks to Jamey and Yangs I have been able to stay strong and healthy.

Great local place!
I've been a member for more years than I can count and I can honestly say this place stays consistently well run. The owners are onsite daily and take members concerns seriously.
There are a wide range of classes including yoga, muscle and spin. They also have team training if you want to workout with a trainer for a fraction of the price

When I started shopping around for a gym, I visited a few locations in the area. I was looking for something clean and close. Something about Yang's just clicked for me - maybe it was how sparkling clean and fresh smelling it was, or how everyone at the front desk remembered me, or how Diana immediately knew exactly which personal trainer to pair me with for the best fit!
Prices are very fair for what you get, and the vibe feels very much like a "working professional" gym. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Not once have I felt silly asking for help or guidance on using equipment. I've been regularly coming to Yang's for almost two years now, and it was the best decision I made for myself and my well-being.

I have been a member of Yang’s fitness for years. I have been going to work out on my own sporadically until a year ago when my husband and I decided to work weekly with Jamey one of the excellent personal trainers. We supplement personal training with workouts that include use of the aerobic equipment (treadmill and elliptical) but more importantly we include weights and exercises to improve strength and balance. Wow, in the year’s time my health has improved enormously. I have reduced unhealthy cholesterol levels by 25pts into a normal range. Additionally, I have improved bone density so I no longer require medication. Aside from that my overall fitness is very improved. Yang’s is a wonderful place to create a fitness regime. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful professionals who are there to help you reach healthy fitness levels. Yang’s accommodates all ages and fitness requirements with classes, great equipment and help if you want it.

I haven't been a member of this gym for that long but in the few weeks that I've been there I think that it is a good facility. They offer a number of different classes like yoga and spinning. They are very class focused. I've taken a number of their yoga classes and I've enjoyed them very much. But I have never taken any other classes so I can't really speak for them. The schedule is quite extensive so there's really a large variety for people who like cardio or strength training. Also they offer something called the group training which is like personal training but for two or more people. The pricing for it is obviously cheaper than if you were to get a personal trainer so it is appealing for people who want to get healthy but can't afford getting a personal trainer. Speaking of personal training they have a number of experienced personal trainers. From what I understand they really work around your schedule. I have only personally worked with one of them and so far she is great. They have a really good new client special, which allows you to get a package of personal training sessions for much cheaper. There's really nothing to complain about since the staff is great and the facility is clean.

I had been a member of Yang's for many years as a kid/young adult, taking kung fu classes. I had returned almost a decade later to join the gym and partake in fitness classes to address some health concerns. The first fitness class I had attended was a struggle, as I wasn't really in shape. I looked over to the window from the hallway to find the owner and a senior staff member standing there and laughing at me struggle. These are two individuals who were present when I attended the kung fu classes and considered as role models. It hurt me deeply to be mocked for my struggle by two individuals I once looked up to. I am disgusted by such behavior, especially considering the high cost of membership vs other local gyms. I will never give this organization business again, and I hope anyone reading this will reconsider before joining.

I work out here 6 days a week, and have for a couple of years. There's plenty of training equipment for cardio and strength, and a dedicated area for stretching. More importantly, the trainers and instructors are uniformly good, and the staff is friendly and helpful.
I never thought my gym would be the place "where everybody knows your name."

I have only been a member for a year and I love going every morning. The classes are great, as are the instructors. If you are not smiling during Zumba, something is wrong with you! Lourdes' enthusiasm is contagious. Love the barre-none classes. Tracey is awesome......and very encouraging. Darryl is so welcoming, I get a personal greeting each time I come in. And the owners, Diana and Alex, are friendly and listen to feedback from members. I have often said in this last year, that if Cheers was a gym instead of a bar........it would be Yangs!

I've been a member of Yang's for several years and it is a great gym and overall organization. For the past couple of years I have been taking Tai Chi classes and have discovered a new world of physical/mental balance that has existed for centuries in China. Instructors are excellent, professional and friendly and truly care about imparting their knowledge. This gym is a treasure in the Andover community.
