I’ve been going to Dragonfly for about 5 years, so obviously I recommend it! The community is amazing! The classes are incredibly fun, and everyone is so supportive with wherever you’re at in your aerial journey. I’ve worked with many (maybe almost all?) of the instructors at the studio and have a deep appreciation for the knowledge, support, flexibility, and humor they’ve shown me in my journey.

The studio and the instructors there are amazing, always supportive, and welcoming. I always recommend aerial yoga or aerial hammock to those just starting out! Once you’re in here, I feel like you’ll dabble in just about everything to try at least once! You know never when you’ll find your next favorite hobby/work out! If you think you have, little to no strength; you’ll gain the strength as you continue on your aerial journey! Trust the process. Try a class or two out.

My daughter has been coming to the Kids classes for about 9 months or so and we have been really enjoying it. Even though they teach some more grown up style classes, the studio is nice and appropriate for kids. Beth is the teacher and we really like her. She is great with the kids and is very patient. As far as I know we will continue to keep coming until my daughter chooses she doesn’t like it anymore but we’re 9 months in and going strong 🤗

If you think you can’t get into aerial arts because you’re not flexible, you’re not terribly strong, you have no dance or gymnastics training, or (my favorite) you’re too old…read on.
I am 50 years old, overweight, and about as flexible as a broomstick. I have had ZERO dance or gymnastics training in my life. I’ve never done the splits or even a pullup. My upper body strength is lacking. And sometimes I lack confidence in myself.
In just a mere 3 months of Lyra classes, Aerial Dragonfly had me performing a wide variety of moves, poses, and flows in the Lyra, and they helped me develop so much conviction in my abilities, my body type, and my age. I became stronger and much more confident, and with the encouragement of my instructors and new friends, I participated in their spring Student Showcase. I was literally performing in front of a large, supportive crowd after THREE MONTHS of learning and practicing at the Aerial Dragonfly. It was amazing!
I’ve *never* been in a community that was so instantly supportive, fun, encouraging, and gentle. I’ve spent time with 4-5 instructors and learned something new every time. I’ve made so many friends and I look forward to seeing them every week. We really support each other and enjoy each other…from all walks of life.
You have nothing to lose. You can sign up for one class at a time. You’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish, and the incredible community you can become part of. Your age, your experience, your body type–none of these things will hold you back if you just give them a try. You CAN fly!

I have been attending Aerial Dragonfly classes for about 3-4 months now and have nothing but wonderful things to say about this place. In a time where there is so much stress, anxiety, and uncertainty in my world, I really needed a healthy distraction (a regular form of self-care if you will) to cope with it all. I regularly attend the beginner silks and lyra classes and have learned so much in just a few months. The teachers have all been amazing to work with. You can tell they really care about your health and are able to differentiate instruction in a way that allows you you to work within the capabilities of your own body. They are also incredibly kind and encouraging, making everyone feel welcome. The owners and staff of this studio have really created an environment that fosters growth and friendship through learning this art form, and I am grateful for the community I have found there. If you are interested in trying an apparatus, sign up for one of the beginner classes, and I promise you won't be disappointed. It will be a fun experience that will allow you to explore your curiosity in a safe environment, and if you are like me, you will most likely be hooked at that point and want to return. Also, if you see a "teaser" workshop offered, I highly recommend going to this so that you can tryout a few of the apparatuses. I started with lyra (which I really enjoy), but then attended the the teaser and really fell in love with the silks, and now I do both. If you are the slightest bit curious about aerial arts, please come give it a try at Aerial Dragonfly - you won't be disappointed!

I attempted to give my feedback via email, however did not receive a response after three days, despite the prompt emails I was receiving during my booking process.
Recently, my entire group was concerned that each person did not have their own personal hoop during the class, as that was a priority for me while I was searching places, and it was confirmed by you all that you could accommodate individual hoops if the private party was booked. I further went to confirm via email the day before our private class that 6 hoops would be needed.
We felt we were left standing and waiting for partners to be done, opposed to a full time class experience. I specifically picked this business opposed to others when I was told this space could accommodate 10 individual hoops. However this was not honored during our class time. And, in addition, being told by the instructor today that you all did not have enough ceiling rings, however there were 6 rings hoops, and only 3 pulled down for class use.

I've gone to a few lyra/trapeze workshops coached by Dari and have had a fantastic time! She always makes sure to do warm ups that are linked to the skills that we will be practicing that day and goes at a slow pace for newcomers. Each workshop has been friendly for all skill levels and Dari makes sure to check in with everyone to see where they might need more support. I highly recommend taking a class with her!

I started taking lyra classes here as a way to regularly get out of the house and socialize (okay and also to get some exercise). Best decision I’ve ever made. What’s really stood out to me is Sarah’s inclusive style of teaching. Whether it’s your first time or hundredth time on the hoop, and regardless of where you’re at in terms of flexibility and strength, all are welcome. She makes it a point to ensure that any necessary accommodations are made and everyone is comfortable. If I had to invent a slogan that embodies her class it would be, “we don’t care what lunch table you come from, you can sit with us”.
The main thing I love is that Sarah is so encouraging, patient, and kind, and this really sets the tone. The way she conducts herself and runs her class fosters a truly supportive environment. We all follow her lead in terms of how we treat each other. People are gonna clap for you. You’ll be reminded that you’re making awesome progress. Even if you generally keep to yourself, someone is gonna call out “that shape looks gorgeous!” when you think no one is paying attention.
Overall: lyra with Sarah is a safe space for anyone who walks through the door. No snobbery, no cliques, no judgmental vibes. Take her class if you want to build confidence, grow muscles, and have fun. 100 stars.

Shawnda is amazing. My 10 year old takes the aerial silks lessons and on the way home after class she says, “Mom! I am so happy!!”
Shawnda’s attention to detail, understanding and anticipating my 10 year old needs, and training are outstanding! Shawnda is very intentional with her training and her attention to good and proper form (both very important in this type of fitness) is second to none- she is the best!

I enjoy the technical training focusing on learning, understanding and conditioning for the moves that I’ve received! Wallee has been a wonderful instructor for pole, she’s been friendly and welcoming, skilled, and uplifting. I have learned more and built more strength than I expected and have had fun while doing so. Unfortunately I could not make it to a lesson, and had canceled when I meant to reschedule a different session, and the admin has been very helpful and kind even getting back to me outside of posted hours to accommodate. My friends and I have enjoyed our month of training here and look forward to more!

The instruction I’ve received at Aerial Dragonfly over the last year has been nothing short of amazing. This isn’t a “one size fits all” studio like some that I’ve come across in the past – the instructors really work with you on an individual basis to make sure you’re safely and effectively making the most of your class time. I’ve made so many great friends here, and I look forward to my silks class each and every week. If you’re looking for an aerial studio, I would HIGHLY recommend Aerial Dragonfly!

I have been hooked from my first silks class at Aerial Dragonfly Movement Studio! I have tried a few silks classes at other studios and am glad I tried this one! Since starting here I have felt that every student who attends has been able to grow in their aerial practice through the studio's encouragement, safe instruction, and inclusive environment. I love that the instruction is curriculum based to each individual so the students are able to progress through learning silks at a pace that suits them!

I really enjoy working on myself here, and always feel welcome. I've been coming for over a year now and this place & people are like my second family. Shout out to Elisabeth for being super patient with me!

2020 is my year of "just try something new". I went to a demo a few days prior to my class and thought "silks looks fun". I went to my first class today and had a wonderful experience. My instructor Elizabeth was patient and did an amazing job encouraging me. She was able to show and explain things in a way that made it easier (by no means easy) to go through a basic climb and some starting poses. I even ended my first class being upside down, which is properly called an invert. If you want to get out of the boring gym grind, I definitely feel what I did. If you just want to take a chance and try something, I had a blast. I should comment, not a lot of guys, but at no point was I made to feel like I didn't belong. So give it a try, if it isn't your thing that's ok because it's a fun way to spend an hour.

Super great place! I've been coming here for almost a year, started with silks and have since picked up 2 more apparatuses. I look forward to my classes and they really help me get through the week. I've worked primarily with Dari, Elektra, Elisabeth, and Hannah and they are all so wonderful. The studio feels like home and I'm always so happy to be there. I'd recommend this place to anyone and have actually brought friends with me several times, both local and out of state ones, and they've all loved it as well. 11/10 great place :)

This studio has been my home away from home for 1 1/2 years now, and I can't say enough about what this place has done for my physical strength as well as for my self-confidence. The instructors are amazing, and have the curriculum structured and tailored to each individual's skill level. They are patient and encouraging and have the important skill of breaking everything down so that you that not only learn to do a move, but you learn the mechanics of the specific moves, allowing you to become more aware of you body and what it needs to do. The environment is friendly, supportive, and fun! You feel welcomed the minute you walk through the door. If you ever want to give aerial arts a try, this is definitely the place to go!

I’ve been attending pole and silks classes at Aerial Dragonfly for ~8 months now. What I love most about the studio is the 1-on-1 instruction time each student gets. Especially as a beginner, I felt easily lost in classes I attended at other studios. The safety aspect is great as well, knowing an instructor is there to help you through each new movement. In addition to that, all the instructors and students create a fantastic, fun and encouraging environment for learning.
As for silks and pole, I can’t say enough about how much I enjoy doing them. I look forward to every class, knowing I’ll improve a technique or learn something new. So much less monotonous than going to the gym to run or lift weights. I’ve gotten so much stronger in these past 8 months without even noticing it. I can’t wait to try all the other aerial classes they have to offer!

I have been coming to this studio for over a year now. I really enjoy my time here. I have learned so much and gained so much strength and endurance. The instructors are so kind and knowledgeable in their art. It does not matter what level you are at, they will make sure you learn at your own speed instead of moving you on before you feel comfortable with what you have learned. I have taken all of the classes they have to offer and each one is just as fun as the next. This is pretty much my home away from home for these reasons. Try it out, you will love it!

I've always been uncoordinated with sports, but I craved an environment where I could use my body and gain strength while also experiencing the social component that I don't get working out at a regular gym. Silks has fulfilled all of these! The teachers are amazing at this studio. They pay close attention to detail and have built a curriculum that gradually increases in difficulty. This makes it easy for anyone to join even someone with limited flexibility starting out.

When I move out of state, this is the what I will miss most. I'm very afraid I won't find another studio as good as this one. When you go to learn something, you want a good instructor. That being said, I'm sure you've figured out at this point in your life that truly good instructors can be difficult to find. But every one they have here is just that, and they all bring a unique instructional quality to the table. What's also most important in this kind of activity is safety, and form (because form brings safety). Everyone really looks out for you here. And Hannah has these superhuman eyes when it comes to spotting incorrect form, you can't get squat past her. If you're interested in taking any of the classes they offer, I suggest you go here if you want to excel.

Has something ever made you so happy that even driving in it's general direction puts a smile on your face? That's how I feel about this studio. On my worst days I'll come to this studio a ball of anxiety and leave a thousand times happier. The instructors are great and the classes are challenging but safe (I've taken all of the classes, so I can vouch for all them, lol). The instructors work at your level and push you just a little further than you'd expect yourself to be able to go. Honestly, even if you're on the fence about going to class, do it. Take the plunge, drop into a class, and make it happen. I am forever glad I did. :)

I went to the pole class, my first time at this facility. The instructor Ben was great, very nice, great teacher. The facility overall was very poor. They have two classes going on simultaneously. As soon as I walked in the place, it reeked of many days of must and sweat, it was very foul smelling. In fact, it smelled worst than going to the last class in the day at a Bikram Yoga class. It was barely any room in the facility and no parking within the same parking lot. But what really grinded my gears was when I paid for the class that was advertised as $20 and I was instructed to go to the website listed on the banner inside the facility, your website conveniently & haphazardly guides you to the MindBody website which charges an extra $5. Class was already in progress at this point and I couldn't ask any questions. I would at least like some sort of credit. That was unacceptable. And the students who are allowed to stop taking one class and go to the other one in progress mid-class is not good either. It disturbs the students. I was definitely shortchanged on learning and was left very frustrated afterwards. My expectations were changed mid-class. Furthermore, the poles are too slippery. Why wouldn't you have brass or chrome? Why would you have iron? That's basic knowledge. Overall it was not a good experience and I would never recommend going to this facility. My friend wanted to come and I told her definitely not spend her $20. It's not worth it. But Ben was a fun teacher. That's the only reason why you got 2 stars otherwise it would have been 1.
