Update: Why are half-naked men in the gym??? And why do they turn the lights off at night? I have been to the gym in the morning, afternoon, evening and night and every time there are creepy men not raised properly who try to make women uncomfortable so we stop going to the gym. Next time I see anyone shirtless or anyone following us or making us uncomfortable, I will file an official complaint. The owner does nothing but increasing the membership fee while letting creepy men come to the gym on $1 membership pass!

The new trainer, Shaun follows and bullies women. There are many creepy men bothering women in this gym. That’s why most of the women have left. I hope the gym owner knows he is responsible for the safety of all gym members and I hope he knows we may file a lawsuit for harassment. Train your personnel to act professionally and hire security guards for the gym.

Decent sized Gym but THE SMELL!! I had to leave this location and go to another. It smells of sweat and body odors of 1,000's Bodies in there. The near by locations are much cleaner or at least the carpet is getting steam cleaned to help the smell. Loved this gym being close but as months gone on the smells gotten worse and worse. This gyms not sanitary , order a carpet steam clean for how much people pay for memberships no excuse at all when carpet cleaners arent that much.

They screwed me on my membership. Not only did they charge me a 120$ membership fee when they advertised free sign up, i moved 8 hrs away and they use some 3rd party to collect membership fees and they cant cancel it. Nobody would answer the phone. FInally their abc bill collector said they would email them for me. 1 month later i get a 250$ bill from collections. I called to cancel or deal with the membership on multiple occasions and i couldn't cancel or get assistance. How does a company use a 3rd party to collect bills while the same company is unable to cancel a membership after i moved 600 miles away. This system is trash. Its a grift to scam you out of a few hundred dollars when your done with the membership.

Anytime fitness is clean, affordable and convenient for busy people like myself. I have been working with personal trainer Lyanna since January 2025 and I am currently down 15lbs. The scale isn’t even the best part! My body looks like I shed double 15lbs cause I have built muscle and toned so well! I am so motivated to continue, money well spent! Beware!!!!! Almost impossible to cancel membership. I’ve been trying to cancel my membership for about a month now I’ve been charge an absurd amount of money and I don’t even have time to go to the gym. I called for weeks and no answer. Can’t cancel with the company that charges you and can barely get into contact with them. If you gonna do it be sure you can actually go for a while.

Anytime Fitness on North Perry is a great spot for a stress-free workout! The gym was clean, the machines were ready to use, and best of all—it wasn’t overly packed. I love when a gym has a chill atmosphere where everyone is just focused on their own fitness goals, and that’s exactly what I found here.

I spent about an hour getting my workout in, starting with a treadmill warm-up before hitting the back extension machine, adductors, and abductors. The staff was polite and helpful, but not intrusive, which made the experience even better. If you’re looking for a gym with solid equipment, a clean space, and a relaxed atmosphere, this location is definitely worth checking out.

Beware of signing up for a 1 year contract. I am going to explain to everyone what will happen if you decide to cancel, since the staff will not. I thought I was saving money purchasing the yearly plan for $348. After 8 days I decided to cancel for the following reasons:
1) Broken equipment (I was told it was older and was going to be replaced but there are multiple machines that do not function properly or are not usable
2) Lack of staffing. The website says that staffing is at 8am. But it was my experience that really no one shows up until 10 or 11 am.
3) Lack of cleanliness. I often found that the machines were not sanitized properly.
4) Lack of lockers to store your items in safely
So after 8 days I decided to cancel. When I signed up, I was informed that there would be a $50 cancellation fee. Which in my mind meant that I would be refunded my $348 less the $50 fee. When I cancelled I was informed that it was actually $150. But not only that, they will keep the entire $348 then try to charge the cancellation fee on top of that. I was able to get $75 back so I guess that is something. But it ended up not saving me money, but costing me $273. I have never dealt with this at Lifetime or Planet, so to say I was surprised is an understatement. Please if you decide to sign up here, only go with the monthly payment. Because if you end up being disappointed and wanting to leave, they will take everything.

I’ve been coming to the gym since 2016 and it has drastically decreased in cleanliness. Bathrooms smell horrid, it appears as if the place is never cleaned, a few of the machines don’t work or are missing pieces, and I haven’t seen the staff in a while. Other than that it’s just an ordinary gym not the best one out of any near by ones. It could be a lot better.

I've been with Anytime Fitness for over 5 years now. I love the 24/7 access because I travel and I can go to any Anytime Fitness in the USA.
The Pontiac location is where I first sign up at, and have seen people come and go. it has always been my favorite location to go to even though there is one closer to me. Very clean, Sam and Jen are AWESOME!! they give you the advice you need and make sure you are doing proper technique.

I called, having a question about my contract, since I was told conflicting information when signing up for a one week free trial, returned my key after the trial period was over (I was told directly by management when I returned my key I would get back the deposit, with no mention of the small window of time I would have to return the key.) I lost my 50 dollar deposit on the key, despite returning the key the next week.

Explained my situation to the member's service representative (at the headquarters in MN), who proceeded to laugh at me smugly declaring "you should have read the contract it's in bold print."

Another twisted gym interested in nothing but exploiting the most out of it's customer, with a joke of a "member's service" team. Never in my life have I had customer support laugh at my situation.

Take your money elsewhere.
