Bent Yoga Studio is an amazing place! What I love most about Bent is the people - it's a warm, welcoming community. There's a wide variety of classes for every level. It's definitely a NO judgement zone. I've been going to Bent Yoga for over 10 years. I've lost weight, gained strength and and become much more flexible. You need to stop in and give it a try!

I had not been in practice for several years and had given up on finding a studio that I liked. My PT recommended yoga after recovering from a riding accident. Bent Yoga has been a great place to reclaim my practice. The instructors have thoughtful flows and fun playlists.

Bent Yoga is simply amazing. If you are looking for a yoga studio that checks all boxes, this is the place.

Anna, the owner, is wonderful. She is not only extremely knowledgeable but also makes everyone feel welcome, regardless of their experience.

Bent offers a wide variety of classes, including vinyasa, guided vinyasa, gentle, slowflow, yin, and special classes like yoga with plates, weights, or HIIT. The studio also creates a sense of community by hosting monthly book club and other fun events.

I would highly recommend Bent Yoga!

Amazing atmosphere and instructors. They are great at leading movements and providing direction individually where needed. A wide range of classes offered for experienced Yogis, beginners, and everyone in-between. If you like hot yoga, you will quickly become a regular at this studio.

I just joined my first class earlier tonight. I feel SO relaxed! This studio is one of the CUTEST I’ve ever tried in my life. Anna the owner is very calm and is so friendly. Like many, I instantly fell in LOVE with Bent Yoga after attending my first class!

I currently reside in the Hudson Valley Region of NY State and currently studies at a university in Central Long Island (will graduate a months after publishing this review), so maybe I’ll say a little more:

I’m somebody who actively uses mass transit systems like LIRR, Metro-North RR, and New Jersey Transit. NJ Transit sees SO MANY cancellations, especially on weekdays. And regrettably, just to upgrade my virtual racing scenery, I’m locked into using this system. When a train I want to take gets canceled for whatever reason and service changes must occur, I’m left completely frustrated. I’ve taken the North Jersey Coast Line and Northeast Corridor, which are the most common to see service cancellations. In response, I felt the need to take myself out-of-state and found many yoga studios in Michigan – especially the Metro Detroit Area – to be β€œhome” for me. Bent Yoga is just one of many that has both in-person & virtual and makes you feel so relaxed and feel like home. Although I never talked to anyone in the studio thus far, Anna the owner deserves so much credit for making this studio thrive. She made me like I’m home here. At times, I cried during the class although my camera was never and I stayed muted the entire time. Anna, THANK YOU SO MUCH. Bent Yoga is one of my new favorite studios EVER thanks to you! πŸ’•πŸ’—πŸ’žπŸ’–

And a quick PS for anyone new to this studio: Take advantage of your first week FREE! Also, Yin is free to participate virtually every Sunday evening. If you’re somebody who believes you’re on a strict budget, the Sunday evening virtual Yin is for you.

I stepped away from my yoga practice for a couple years. Coming into this space was like a big hug! I’ve now taken classes with two different teachers, and they (as well as others in the classes) were extremely welcoming. I felt comfortable modifying (both up and down) as needed, and the push was just right. I’m so happy I’ve found my new yoga home.

Lynn is a master of her CRAFT/PROFFESION.

I am a true beginner that took her Yin class. Lynn was putting together posses for what I thought was for true expert yogis. Lynn also showed posses for the green Yogi's like me. They were hitting the same areas......just taking me to the edge in a different and softer way. If you have never been you should give it a try! You will not he disappointed!

The people involved in the Bent Yoga program are incredible humans who will uplift you as much as the practice itself. All experience levels can find a home at Bent, and as a bonus you can expect to completely skip any awkward settling in-phase because Jenn and everyone else are so welcoming. The practice itself is unlike any I've experienced before, and BY FAR my favorite. Quality teaching and a great environment allow you to truly zone in on yourself and get the most out of your practice. I cannot speak highly enough about this place - TRY IT and you will not regret it!

There is NEVER any judgment and they are always there to support and help you. I highly recommend that you come to a class and try it for yourself. You won't regret it.

I like a lot of things about Bent Yoga. The two things I like most (other than the people) are that it is not intimidating at all and that it is a great workout. I have never felt out of place there and I almost always leave feeling like I worked hard and am better for it. I've been going for over two years and it has become one of my very favorite workouts.

I'm crazy about Bent Yoga! The instructors are all friendly, knowledgeable, and amazing at what they do. No matter what your fitness level, there is a class for you and Bent Yoga never judges. Classes are challenging, but you always come back wanting more. It's exercise, therapy, and a full-body massage all in one.

Bent Hot yoga in Fenton is a warm and inviting atmosphere. The sessions are challenging, but the instructors invite the students to modify the routine as needed. I feel totally comfortable to notch it up a bit or ground myself as needed. I particularly like that the teachers give great instruction without filling each moment with unnecessary chatter.

I really love taking Yoga here. I have always bounced around to different studios, but this has become my yoga home. I enjoy the different classes and variety they offer, as well as the variety of teachers who each have a slightly different style and bring something different to the class. I personally love the loud music as it helps me block out my brains wandering thoughts and focus on being in the moment (and strong and sweaty!). I love supporting this growing small business!

I cannot say enough great things about Bent Yoga; truly a wonderful place to explore your yoga practice, get a GREAT work out and make new friends. The challenges that the instructors teach you to overcome during the classes truly take shape off of the mat as well. I have done yoga at dozens of other studios prior to coming to Bent and Bent has by far been my favorite and has kept be coming back for more since moving to Brighton about a year ago. The instructors are kind, wise and are accommodating to all levels of practice. :)

My go to activity has mostly been running. I tried multiple yoga classes for cross training and couldn't find one that met my interest for strength building, cardio, and increasing flexibility until I found bent yoga. My husband and I have been going for several months now and love it. I look forward to going to the hot studio to burn off calories, stress and work on stretching my hamstrings. The owner is motivating, creative and inspiring. I recommend this workout for anyone in their 40's who is trying to mix things up with their exercise routine. You will be hooked after a few classes!

After having 2 kids within a year of each other I was beginning to feel like I had lost a sense of myself- (mind and body). I knew I needed "me" time but I also knew that hitting the gym wasn't for me. Bent yoga has been my outlet - It's been "my thing" for the last couple months. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and prepared for every class, the classes are different everytime (different moves and different music), and the studio is one of the hottest you'll find! I've never taken a class at Bent where I felt like I sucked and everyone else was making it look easy. It's tough! And we are all in it together! NO JUDGMENT! It can be scary to try something new but take a leap and give it a try!

I have tried a few other yoga places but none have really stuck. I've been coming to bent for over a year now! The environment is amazing, there it is a no judge zone mentality, the instructors truly care and want to help you improve you. Everyone has become yoga family! Just an amazing place overall.

As a group fitness instructor, I have always loved all things fitness so when my neighbor invited me to Bent Yoga I was ALL IN! I love lifting weights and high intensity intervals but yoga was new for me, let me tell you, after my first hot, hot, hot, vinyasa....I WAS HOOKED! The instructors are amazing, the classes not only kick my butt, but leave me feeling 1000 pounds mentally lighter at the same time! I would highly recommend a good sweaty yoga sesh at Bent!

We (my fiancΓ© and I) are so sad to be moving away from Brighton because Bent has become a part of our regular routine. There is a strong sense of community in the studio amongst both instructors and students. I have never been a very athletic person, but have absolutely loved my experience at Bent. It is a mental and physical (and very sweaty) challenge that is also fun and incredibly rewarding. I have seen changes in my body and personal strength (physical and mental) that I have never seen before and it's all thanks to Bent. I will continue yoga for the rest of my life thanks to this studio. We love this place!!

I love Bent. While the workout is hot, sweat, and intense, it has been an amazing experience for me. The teachers are extremely helpful and compassionate as well, and have helped me through some personal challenges as well as yoga challenges. There's a great sense of community there, as the studio is small. Plus, it's fun doing yoga to fun, upbeat music!

Bent Yoga is truly unique. It offers a Yoga experience like no other. It's hot, sweaty, athletic and also teaches you how to acclimate your mind to everyday chaos. This kind of practice has been a game changer for me. I do all kinds of physical exercise and this has been the hardest and best thing for me on so many levels. I highly recommend that you give this a shot if you are looking for something both challenging and rewarding. It will take your body and mind to the next level!

To start off I am the most inflexible person there is. I have tried yoga before, but I found it too slow and somewhat boring. Upon getting a recommendation from a friend, I thought that I would try it again. Believe me, the added heat and flows make this yoga one of the hardest workouts that I have done. The instructors are all fabulous, working me as hard as I want, without the yelling. This yoga may not be for everyone, but the heat makes me feel looser than without. If you want a good yoga studio, this one will make you feel better, both physically and mentally.

my decision to submit a review of bent yoga was not easy. I am all for local businesses and entrepreneurs, but this experience was awful. Anyone who has practiced yoga, in any sort of way... will not enjoy this place. I took the hot yoga/ fire class and almost passed out bc it was too hot. I could not breathe.. she had 6 space heaters in this small room... it was unbearable. The instructor was yelling and blaring music the whole time, like a spinning class. Finally, the class was over and the instructor( I think owner?) asked what I thought & I told her it was WAY too hot & I almost passed out several times/ the most stressful yoga class I have ever been to. . (no one was around and i was just trying to be honest?). ... She told me I had to get used to the heat and that i was out of practice; I go to 4 yoga classes a week. bottom line: it was WAY WAY too hot and the most stressful/ annoying yoga class ever.
