I Enjoy doing my Pilates at body bar , it is so clean very friendly nice atmosphere. Look forward for more Pilates. I even signed up for six months in advance. I thought I was gonna do a six month but now I’m way over a year. I don’t think I can live without it .🤗

I started coming here a few times per month since February to work on my disproportionately bad core strength with limited prior pilates experience. These classes work, and I’ve felt the difference in my other movement activities (ie running, yoga) as well as decreasing any back pain. Now, coming to class is one of the highlights of my week between the instructors and vibes being so fun while being physically challenges, in addition to gaining functional strength.

Cannot recommend enough! I’ve been a member for a year and a half with 300 classes. The workouts are NO JOKE and I was in the army for 10 years 🥵 the instructors are knowledgeable and encouraging, classes have a large variety so you won’t get bored, and the studio has a welcoming, community-like feel. Great investment in yourself.

Update 11/2025: After a year+ I can confidently say the studio is only evolving for the better. The instructors all do a great job and they listen to us with suggestions for the classes and the studio.

Original: I’d been wanting to try reformer Pilates for a while, so I was happy to see this studio open in the neighborhood! The instructors I’ve experienced so far are wonderful, energetic, and helpful for those of us new to the motions. It’s a fun workout!

I’ve been practicing Pilates for over 20 years, with certifications in both mat and reformer, and have attended many studios across different cities. Body Bar Pilates stands out for the creativity they allow their instructors—it keeps classes fresh, dynamic, and keeps your body guessing in all the right ways. The workouts here are truly challenging, definitely more intense than other studios in town, and I appreciate that they don’t water things down.

That said, I do wish there was more attention paid to flow and modification. Some of the newer instructors, while enthusiastic, tend to pack in everything without considering transitions or offering alternatives for those newer to Pilates or working with limitations. There’s room for growth in cueing and inclusivity, especially for more seasoned clients. A broader mix of experience levels among staff could bring even more depth to an already strong studio.

Still, Body Bar offers a solid workout with energy and style—and I’ll keep coming back for that burn.

This Pilates studio has helped me so much beyond my already high expectations! The studios esthetics are very motivating to me, the custom playlists, the joy of the instructors, cute boutique, etc.! I have been attending since the founders week and average 5 classes/week!

While I have a long ways to go in my journey to a healthier self, this studio is helping me find my way physically and mentally! I recall one day walking in to see one of my favorite instructors and accidentally exclaiming "I needed your energy today!". I’ve loved all of my classes with Jeanvieve, Jillian, and Kelley. They are so kind and welcoming from the moment you step in the room, and encouraging through the whole class. Even if you are a beginner, you won’t feel out of place, they are happy to help every step of the way and accommodate any modifications you may need. The moment I saw the ad on insta for BodyBar facility opening near me, I immediately signed up. After delivering my third baby just a year ago, I felt I hardly had any core strength ...I desperately needed to get back into some form of workout. BodyBar and their TERRIFIC team of instructors have been godsend !! No kidding!! This is my first time doing Pilates and I'm 20 sessions in and I can say I'm feeling good, my body strength has improved..I still have a long way to go but I know I can be consistent because Pilates is ADDICTIVE.. There I said it :D :D A special mention again to teachers who help and correct the form whenever I'm on reformer thinking this is EASY... I felt the burn 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I took an early morning class with Lucus, and it exceeded my expectations. I'm just getting back into fitness, and I really appreciated the alternative options offered. I can’t wait to return. I first got into Pilates before having four kids, back when Windsor Pilates was popular, so the advancements in equipment were a bit overwhelming at first. However, Lucus explained everything clearly, and I was able to get right into the groove.

Energy is everything!! Everyone is so kind, encouraging, energetic, and fun! I’ve taken classes with almost every instructors and absolutely LOVE Lucas!! (they’re all wonderful)

The classes are very different from traditional Pilates. If you do not have a good strong base, I highly recommend that you go down in strength on the spring and that you start by taking a few CLASSIC class sessions before you do the reformer classes.
If you do not have a good strong base, you could easily be faced with an injury or a setback.

The staff is beyond friendly! The receptionist made me feel right at home. Showing me around and introducing me to the instructor as it was my very first class!
