At Bottoms Up Personal Training, we offer the motivation and fun of group fitness, combined with the optimization and individualization of personal training. When you start with us, you will be partnered with a coach who will be your mentor throughout your fitness journey. Love this place! The coaches are great and really make an effort to welcome new people and regularly make us introduce ourselves so we can use each others’ names. Everybody is SO supportive. I also like that there’s a good mix of ages- from high school up to 70ish (I think?). Options are ALWAYS presented and usually there are people working at all different levels, doing the same exhausting workout, but at the level they can excel at. Thank you Jordan, Hilary and Ryan!

I am in a military family and we are reassigned nearly every 2-1/2 years. When we were located in CA I joined a gym and really liked it. After about a year I began noticing that, while in the classes, I was watching the clock (which could only mean that I was becoming bored). I am a active 64 year old woman, originally from Ann Arbor. In between relocation from the West to East Coast, I visited a friend in Michigan. While there I wanted to work out. I checked out a popular gym and also made an appointment for an introductory class at CFB. Due to my age, I was a bit apprehensive as I had never tried CrossFit, but was curious. I checked out the popular gym first and then went for my introductory class with Jordan at CFB. As a newbie I was intimidated walking into the “Box”. After the class with Jordan I was interested enough to give it a try and, at least, see if I could do CrossFit . I attended class three times a week for the six weeks I was in Michigan and I could tell I was hooked. It was a blessing for me to have my first CF experience at CFB. Jordan and Hillary are for attentive toward each member in each class. Their instructors are very knowledgeable, patient and encouraging. I was amazed at how fast the time passed while working out. No looking at the clock when doing CrossFit (except when timing yourself).

I am not exaggerating when I write that I cannot find one thing I would change about CFB. Their classes are always challenging. The instructors are always close by to give added instruction, when needed. The facility is huge and very clean. There is plenty of equipment for everyone. Two bathrooms that are clean and neat. Their prices are very reasonable and their schedules offer a wide range of daily classes. The owners, staff and other members are very friendly and encouraging. The music is conducive to all ages and there is not constant bad language.

I know from my experience as a rookie at CFB that they are one of the best in the country because, in all the different places I have travelled, I have not found a CrossFit that even comes close and I have tried many since I first began CF. I use CFB as my “measuring stick” when checking out other facilities and all I can say to those that live close enough to be members at Jordan and Hillary’s CFB is “be thankful and appreciate having them as your workout facility”.

Every time I am planning a trip to Michigan one of the first things I do is email Hillary to set up the payment for the time I am going to be in town. When I return it feels like I never left.

I joined the Bloomfield CrossFit 4 weeks ago and am very pleased with my progress. At 68, I was concerned it would be too much for me, but Hillary and Jordan have adjusted the program to my level. Can’t tell you how much CrossFit Bloomfield has literally changed my life. Until September 2021 I had not worked out in over 20 years because I HATED every second of every workout. At 49 years old, I finally decided I needed to start doing something. I thought when I first started I would hopefully be able to go three days a week, but literally within the first week I couldn’t stay away. I almost immediately started to go five days a week at the same time every morning to see the same group of people who were from moment one extremely supportive and helpful. Jordan and Ryan really look to create a positive, safe, structured class each time I’m there. Even when the classes have a few more people than normal, I always feel like I get tons of individual attention making sure that I am doing things correctly and always striving to improve. Best place ever! I’m 54 and never going to be an elite athlete. I played tennis regularly but was looking for a way to work out without doing the same boring thing everyday. I’ve joined other gyms in the past and was looking for a gym that had classes that weren’t huge so that the trainer could help all participants. I have found that In Bloomfield CrossFit. I walked in to my first class a bit nervous about how it would go, but I was pleasantly surprised at how welcoming everybody was including the participants in the class. Jordan, Hillary, Georgia, Rachel, & all the Crossfit Bloomfield Coaches are so awesome! I would refer this gym to anyone! They are all so incredibly positive, and will encourage everyone to do their best. After going for only a few months, I feel stronger, healthier, and all around more energized. There were days I walked in and had so much doubt that I would not be able to do the workout, but there was NEVER a day I walked out without an accomplishment, they not only helped me physically but also mentally, my confidence in fitness has grown tremendously. I've only been going 5 weeks now at 6:30 AM class with Hillary and I have lost weight (don't how many pounds yet, haven't; checked) AND I feel great! I had serious back pain prior to starting Crossfit due a compressed 3rd/4th lumbar spine and the extra belly fat did not help either. 5 weeks in, my back pain is much more manageable because of Hillary and Jordan's regimen! They offer modifications if you can't do a particular movement. There is a class time, exercise level, no matter what your weight, gender, need and ability for everyone. You can and will fit in! I am signing up for the next 6 week class! Count me in Hillary and Jordan!

Oh and the gym is very clean and the equipment is fantastic too.

CrossFit Bloomfield is a great place to workout. Jordan and Hillary and the coaches know the movements and standards and they do a great job of giving you a good foundation to build upon. There are several different times available throughout each day to get your fitness on with a one hour session. The important thing that they have done is offer an on-ramp class, which allows beginners to understand and do the movements correctly before entering a CrossFit session for a WOD or workout of the day. This helps prevent injury. Also, their equipment and facilities are on-par with any professional gym and there is a variety of classes to choose from, such as CrossFit, RowFit, Boot Camps, and TRX. One of the things that helps CrossFit Bloomfield standout is Jordan's story-he is truly inspiring. So, if you want to be a part of a great community of people that help each other power through workouts, this is the place for you.

Love my classes at Fitness Innovation Team. Such a great complete body workout with the rowing class or a kettle-bell class, still have to try TRS class . Hillary is amazing, makes every class very different, challenging and fun. I tried lots of different classes, gyms, programs, and now I found the best place for my workout needs.

Honestly I did not know what to expect with the whole "crossfit" thing but CrossFit Bloomfield has made the transition from a "regular" gym goer to CrossFit so easy! I absolutely LOVE this place!!

The facility is amazing compared to many other CrossFit gyms I have dropped in to. Open space, state-of-the-art equipment, clean and TWO showers!!! Staff is amazing and it is like one-on-one instruction everyday!!! I honestly can't say enough good things!!!!

Fitness Innovation Team has some of the coolest and most results driven group classes I've ever participated in. I specifically enjoy the rowing class that incorporates rowing on a row machine with other unique training equipment including kettle bells, bosu, TRX training, and so many other core killing exercises. It's a great class and it kicks your but! For great results and a change of pace from the boring regular cardio and training equipment, I would highly suggest you check out what Fitness Innovation Team has to offer!

My son has been working out with Jordan's Crossfit Kids since March 2010. He works out one to two times per week and loves it! He wasn't overweight, but has lost 3 1/2 pounds since then by simply toning up and strengthening his muscles while having fun! He enjoys going to workout with his kids group, after their workout circuit there is always a fun game of dodgeball! We highly recommend his class!
