Emotional child abuse and distress occurred with coach Marissa and I'm proud my child had the courage to speak up about the coaches behavior. FYI parents practices are also *closed meaning no spectators, so please KNOW who you're leaving your children with. There is never an excuse to demean, embarrass, and humiliate our children!

Iβve been cheering here for 10 years now and absolutely love it! Even though the coaches can be strict at times they always want what is best for each and every athlete. I always recommend champion force to any parents wanting their kids to try a sport and so far they all love it! Even if their kid didnβt stay they still have told me they love the experience!

Just like high school cheer, lots of bullying, drama, and scapegoating. Favorites and in-groups are picked, coach included (often led by the coach), everyone else is attacked psychologically until they're gone. Lead cheerleaders will also distribute photos of themselves vaping on snapchat to the other girls, great examples! I wouldn't recommend if you hope your girls will grow up to become decent human beings.

Where to start.....Our normal coach takes the day off and the coach that this organization trusts to coach 5 and 6 year olds starts to yell at these poor kids and makes them cry. So, standing up for my friends daughter who has crippling anxiety but has been working so hard to overcome it and now my daughter gets kicked out due to this. Not to mention our big competition is next weekend, which I paid for a hotel and took time off work to attend. I spoke with a lady from the corporate office ( who was the WORST) and she did not want to hear my side of the story at all. She just made sure to tell me that my 6 year old could not participate in the up coming competition and will not be allowed to cheer for this organization anymore.
So, if you are interested in an cheer organization this is not the one you want to let your young child participate in.
They came highly recommend to me and if I could give them zero stars, I would! Horrible! Now I am trying to explain to my 6 year old what "she did wrong?"

Cheer class is fine. My 6 y/o daughter seems to enjoy it. Teachers seem good, but it's tough to tell since you can't actually watch the classes or see what's going on. It would be nice if there was seating or a viewing area for the parents. Maybe put a table or bench outside if there's no room inside.

First year with the program, and we are not that sure we want to return. Lack of communication with the coach, she seems unorganized and not very good at controlling the class. It's low cost weekly. However, the uniform and extras add up quickly.

We had a horrible time with this company for my daughter, and I definitely wouldnβt recommend. Coach Pike was extremely rude and spoke about my 7 year old in a manner no adult should ever deem appropriate. I think shaming kids for being sick is extremely inappropriate and dangerous, and Iβve already contacted my local agency regarding the many issues during our time trying with them. I think changing coaches mid season with no explanation is odd, however I would express to parents to be careful with who you leave your children with. This wasnβt the place. My daughter loved it in the beginning, coach Pike starts running things and I picked my daughter up in tears. When I finally spoke with coach Pike, she basically told me it was my childβs fault for being sick and that she wasnβt going to help her. She said my daughter was rude, disrespectful, doesnβt listen, all of which I know not to be true, and was never mentioned before my calling to ask why my daughter was balling. KEEP LOOKING THERE ARE MUCH BETTER OPTIONS AND COACHES!!

My oldest granddaughter has been with Champion Force for almost 2 years now and is 5 years of age. She is a little brut but gives it her full heart and soul and has fun while doing it. Her coach is Sami and is such an amazing person and coach.. My granddaughter has participated in the last 3 Michigan state cheer competition's.. They placed 4th her first one, 3rd her second one, and now just 2nd 2 weeks ago in Detroit and she is 5 and having fun while being amazing at what she does...

My granddaughter started cheer in Westland when she was 5 the first yrs the coach favored her children over the girls, she became a flyer after that when a new coach stepped in, she was there for a few years but the problem then was one of the girls was a bully and kept pinching and scratching her legs which was reported to the coach nothing was done. I took out of there I wrote a different team that was looking for a flyer garden city, my granddaughter is not big for her age she's quite average size and a tiny waist. The coach pulled her off said she wasn't ready to fly like seriously she'd been flying for a few yrs. The coach would bring in younger cheerleaders that didn't belong in that division. This yr was the last straw my granddaughter finally thought going into d4 she would be the flyer again, nope the coach bought in smaller girls like 8 9 years old to be the flyers my granddaughter cried her eyes out and said that it wasn't fair those new girls didn't belong in d4 which I agreed I will be finding a new competitive cheer location because champion force coaches don't follow the age groups they pull cheerleaders that have just started into a an age group they don't belong in or bring in younger family members and favor them, it's all unfair.

This teams coaches let my child leave the novi show with someone they had never met. Then said as long as are 9 year old is comfortable leaving they allow them to leave with who ever. We will never cheer with them again. Parents be careful

My son cheered for champion force elite for more than 3 years before aging out. My daughter still cheers for the program on their elite team. The program has taught them so much about endurance, courage, perseverance and loyalty. It has helped them both come out of their shells. They love their cheer family and traveling for competitions.

If I could give zero stars I would. Our daughter participated with Highland Heat. This was the most disorganized thing I have ever seen. The coach was consecutively late... Even to the competition. Our group was the least prepared, late coach, no signs, no directions for parents. The coach's emails were extremely confusing, constantly changing, and she barely moved during most practices. How are children supposed to learn a routine if you don't do it along with them? On a positive note, the assistant coach was amazing! If it wasn't for her our girls wouldn't have made it through the season. Our session was so bad that by the end of the season more than half the team was no longer even showing up. π We love Huron Valley Recreation and have had many fantastic experiences with them but we will never work with Champion Force cheerleading ever again!!!!

Would not be a part of this if we had other options. 45 minutes a week isn't enough time for practice, coach in Clarkston has never done awards, missed several practices with no make-ups, only staying with it until my daughter can do it for school.
