The perfect work out for when you don’t really feel like working out! Tried Club Pilates after encouragement from my daughter who works out there several times per week. The intro class was excellent. Brooke was excellent providing detailed instruction on use of equipment and awareness of correct body movement during the workout. I very much appreciated her expertise. I've struggled with pain in my lower back due to a herniated disc for years now. While it's managed, I wasn't able to do weight workouts or go through a round of golf without pain. Pilates has been the only thing that's really helped me get through it and now I'm able to incorporate new workouts each week. I was intimidated starting Pilates, but the staff at Club Pilates (Breton Village) was welcoming and knowledgeable that I was quick to buy an unlimited class and now go 4-5x a week. Rachel's classes are my favorite! She offers a both challenging and somehow relaxing / stress relieving workout. On top of that, I've NEVER been able to get up for a morning workout class, but I actually look forward to her 7am class on Wednesday's. All the instructors have their own style, so you really get variety in each session you do. Highly recommend, especially if you are dealing with injuries or pain.

I started going to Club Pilates last summer after being officially diagnosed with perimenopause. I was looking for something that would strengthen me physically and help me reconnect with my body. I have never taken a Pilates class. I didn't know what Pilates entailed. I took the free intro to Pilates class at the Breton Village location. The employees that I came in contact with were very nice. The instructor, Emily, was extremely nice and very attentive to details. When I wasn't doing a move correctly, she made sure to come to me and direct me to make the proper adjustments. Her instructions were clear and concise. The reformer was a little intimidating at first because I didn't understand it. I really enjoyed the class.

Visiting from California and am a current member of Club Pilates on the West Coast. Grand Rapids may be smaller than LA but I was impressed with my class. The front desk staff were friendly and the manager, Lea made sure to ask how I liked my experience. The instructor was knowledgeable and I left feeling happy. I will definitely take more classes when I visit GR Michigan. Do Pilates Do Life at “Club Pilates” for sure. PS. They offer a level 2.0 once a day which is nice for advanced workouts.

I joined Club Pilates in January 2024 after dealing with a hip injury for quite some time. I was desperate to find something that I could do for exercise without hurting myself. The reformer flow 1 classes have been gentle on my body, but also allow for lots of strength training, especially in my core. It is a full body workout. The staff has been really awesome about working with me to accommodate for my injury and I’ve gained more range of motion over the past month. I’m thankful I took the plunge and signed up! I joined Club Pilates a few months ago at the urging of my niece. I had been a former marathon runner, however, as the result of a serious accident, am no longer able to run, and I was having difficulty finding an appropriate workout in order to remain in shape with the physical limitations I now have. I finally took my niece's advice and signed up for the introductory class and was immediately hooked! The reformer, in conjunction with the other tools (weights, magic circle, etc.), has made it possible for me to get the well rounded and balanced workout that I have been longing for, even with my limitations.
Additionally, the instructors are well trained, skilled, and always well prepared for their classes, and they all provide something just a little bit different so at the end of each week I feel as though every muscle group has been appropriately addressed. I also greatly appreciate that they are thoughtful and always willing to help adapt a particular stretch or exercise if I am unable to do what they had planned because of my limitations.
I have not felt this healthy and in shape in over 10 years. I highly recommend Club Pilates to anyone, but especially if you have injuries or physical limitations that prevent you from other forms of exercise and working out. My pilates workout is the highlight of my day!

I love Club Pilates in Breton Village. It is a welcoming place. I have only been going for two months and I have noticed significant change in my body. I lost a significant amount of weight and I noticed at my age (40s) my strength was not there anymore. I am stronger in all the important parts. My back and core support me on my feet all day and I am less tired. Thank you!

Unprofessional, rude, & very poor communication skills. Even if you have been a consistent, reliable customer — in the end they will make the cancellation process very difficult for you and do everything they can to finesse another payment out of you without your consent. I would suggest going literally anywhere else but here. I know two different people who have had the worst experience with them with cancelling their membership.

I had to freeze my account because of some health issues. After clearly communicating when the freeze on my account would end. They charge my account a month early. When I talked to them about the problem, they refused to do anything about it. Very Ablelist in thier attitude towards the situation.

Club Pilates is a wonderful studio! I love the Breton Village location! They have plenty of parking and it’s super nice that the studio is in its own little alley—makes it feel a bit more private. The classes are great, the studio is always clean and staff is friendly. Instructors are knowledgeable and so willing to give modifications and help clients who need it. A great workout!

I was reluctant about Pilates. Zainab walked me through the classes with such patience and understanding. It was fun, unique from my typical work outs, and challenged my muscle groups. I joined 2 years ago, and other than walking, it has been the only exercise that I have enjoyed LONG TERM. This is a rehabilitative workout as much as it is a body toning one. I feel strong and stable as I age and can do more than I ever thought I would. No class is the same and EVERY instructor is wonderful, bringing their own personalities to the workout!

DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT WITH CLUB PILATES. Billing and cancellation is a nightmare. Took 3 months to get them to cancel my membership after I was no longer able to continue using the subscription-- equating to hundreds of dollars of wasted money. Every employee I spoke with gave a different story, and the manager was unwilling to stand by what I was told when I first requested to cancel. Very misleading and dishonest business practices.

I’ve been coming to classes at Club Pilates for just over a year. I’ve really enjoyed the variety of classes that meet the needs of individuals and their skill level. All the instructors are well trained and very encouraging and helpful. My body has made changes that are very positive with improved strength, mobility and stability. I’ve also lost some weight as I’ve coordinated my Pilates training with improved eating habits. Oh, and they have a lot of options for class time availability for people’s schedules.

I’ve really enjoyed my first weeks at this studio. I’m still taking level 1 classes, but the workouts WORK. Even after my Intro class, I could feel my muscles activated (and sore—but in the best way). Even after the first week (going 3-4x), I noticed a change in my posture and stance, which lead to a lot less body aches. I get really nervous entering new places and class-lead gyms where there already seems to be a community built, but the teachers and other clients are so warm and welcoming. I look forward to my workout each day!

I absolutely love Club Pilates. I'm not very flexible and I have hip and spine issues, but lying on my back on the Reform machines I feel fully comfortable and support. I love my classes because the instructors are all great and very helpful. Some sessions are harder than others, but I always leave feeling accomplished and more confident! I love Breton Village Club Pilates! As a person with hypermobile joints (and therefore low muscle tone), I've spent years trying to figure out what type of exercise was right for me. Club Pilates offers free intro classes multiple times a week, so a friend and I decided to try it out. I was immediately hooked. The instructors stress that Pilates offers benefits for functional movement, and they are so right. Simple things like walking up a staircase or bending down to pick up something from the floor feel so different after several classes. Reformer Pilates makes life easier by getting your body to work the way it was meant to. I recommend taking a variety of classes led by different instructors. You'll be amazed at how no two classes are ever the same! If you get an unlimited membership, you can also take classes at the Knapp's Crossing location. Both studios are always clean and well organized. They have a retail section with grip socks (required for class) and workout clothes. Five out of five stars. What are you waiting for? I loved going to the Club Pilates @Breton Village. The trainers were experienced and very knowledgeable ESp Rebecca. Unfortunately the operational hours changed and I was not able to continue my membership there. If things change I will definitely be rejoining. For anyone who has second thoughts Don't. Join now! Life changing!! Results oriented. The instructors are all knowledgeable and friendly. In the last 4 mo. I've been coming, I've never done the same workout twice.
