Before I met Nichole from COACHfit Co., I was on a journey to lose weight. I was doing hours of cardio each day. I was starting to venture off to the other side of the gym where the weight machines were. I had no clue about proper form, which parts of my body I should work on, and when, etc... When I talked to Nichole and decided to meet up with her for an assessment, I learned that I didn't have to kill myself with hours of cardio a day. I could burn a lot more calories and spend a lot less time in the gym with strength training. That day was a game changer for me!
Teaming up with Nichole is one of the smartest things I could have done for myself. Not only did I save myself hours a day at the gym, but she's taught me how to eat healthy and take care of my body. Nichole takes the time to get to know all of her clients. She doesn't give everyone the same nutrition plan and workout agenda. She works out a plan that will help each individual person reach their specific goals. She's amazing. She always has words of encouragement, and I'm really not sure how she gets me to do what I do at the gym. I'm lifting weights and doing exercises I never thought I could do!
I've learned that listening to my body is extremely important. I used to workout for hours a day and didn't care what my body was telling me. I used to take the "no pain, no gain" to an extreme level. Now I know that recovery and rest days are important. Nichole doesn't just tell you what you need to do, she always offers an explanation and how beneficial it is, and how it's going to help you reach the goal(s) you're going after.
I always explain how Nichole customizes everyone's workout and nutrition plan according to their goals. And she always asks for medical history. That's also a big part of how she'll build a plan for someone to reach their goals. I ALWAYS tell them how amazing she is. She gets to know each of her clients and always has words of encouragement. I've never heard her say anything negative. She's definitely the most positive person I know! If you're looking to have someone in your corner, she's the person to take along on your fitness journey.
One of my favorite wins with Nichole was being able to run a complete mile, without stopping. She told me that I'd be able to do it, but I would've bet money that I couldn't. We worked together at it, and to this day (about 8 years later) I still remember that day. It was very impactful for me. Another big win is how much she's helped me with my hip pain. Before and after my diagnosis, she's always asking how I'm feeling and assessing anything that may interfere with my hip. Sometimes she has to make adjustments to the workout that she has planned for the day based on how my hip is feeling. All of her assessments, stretching exercises, and tips she gives, has helped me immensely! Most days I no longer have pain, and I thank her for that!

I started working with Nichole after a reference from a former teammate back in my sophomore year of high school, knowing I needed a professional to help me prepare for the jump to college softball. My goal was to improve my speed, strength, and overall athletic performance, and her training approach delivered beyond my expectations. She combined sprint mechanics, plyometrics, and weightlifting in a way that made me not just stronger, but faster and more explosive. Her running drills improved my acceleration, the plyometric work increased my agility, and the strength training improved my power. Even as I gained muscle, I became quicker on the bases and more agile on defense. Great person and great trainer, I am so happy with my time with Nichole! If you're looking for a trainer who knows how to build complete athletes, I highly recommend Nichole!

Over the past decade, I have had the privilege of working with Nichole. I have been training with Nichole for almost 3 years. I was 56 years old and had worked out for years on my own in my 20’s then life came along. I would start and stop over the years after that period. My journey began with COACHfit when I developed some back issues. It came down to possible surgery or explore other options. After consulting with Nichole I decided to commit to working out focusing on a much more diverse program than I ever did on my own. Core and cardio focus have been a pleasant surprise. Her knowledge on the body and nutrition allows her to develop individual work outs for your needs. A true “personal training” experience. The benefits have been both physical and mental. I have lost 20 pounds and took 3 inches off my waist. The commitment to working out has been empowering in many ways. It has been one of the best decisions I have ever made!

Nichole is an amazing coach! Before partnering up with her over a year ago, I was exercising at my local community center and following a well-known diet plan. I found that I was lacking direction with my health goals.
Upon choosing Nichole as my trainer, she did a full evaluation of me physically and mentally to set a baseline for my health and fitness plan. She really has taken the time to get to know me and works on strengthening my weaknesses through a variety of fun and challenging workouts. Nichole’s support and guidance have encouraged me to push myself physically and mentally.
Recently we have added a very thorough nutrition plan to my health journey, which has been tailored to my lifestyle. Nichole has been very supportive and provided me with so many healthy food options.
