About the Club

Constant Movement is a Pilates studio in Grand Rapids, MI with state of the art Pilates equipment to help connect the mind and body. There are Pilates classes available for any level from advanced to beginner as well as elite athletes and clients with special needs. Each student receives a movement program tailored to their own unique needs to reach their personal goals whether they are in a private Pilates lesson or group Pilates class. The instructors are fully certified in both classical and contemporary Pilates and are trained in the latest cutting edge research in movement. Constant Movement’s health and wellness studio also offers many forms of massage therapy to help maintain your overall health.

I credit this studio with my good health. I have never been able to stick to an exercise program for long until I found Barb β€” now I can say I have been doing Pilates here for over ten years! More importantly, I still like it. The only competition is with yourself and there’s a positive vibe throughout. I would encourage any one β€” any age, any size, any level of fitness β€” to try this Pilates studio.

I found Barb at Constant Movement thru her website and search for Pilates near me. I am so thankful that I found her studio as it is the perfect fit for me. She provides both individualized and small group classes which feel very personalized for my level and goals. Being someone who had never done Pilates before I appreciated her attention and focus on my individual needs and because of the smaller class size she is able to tailor the sessions to each person’s individual level and abilities which is much appreciated. She is also very attentive to those who may have previous injuries or limitations and makes necessary accommodations. I recommend Constant Movement to anyone at any level..

Barb is wonderful; she personalizes each session to meet your specific needs. Barb works with all levels of experience from beginners to long time clients. Barb works on all of the muscle groups, along with posture, toning and flexibility. I highly recommend her.

Constant Movement is the best place for pilates. Barb is very knowledgeable, patient and teaches all the basics on how to move your body correctly. You will definitely feel your core getting stronger with each class. Issues you have with movement will clear up and you will be able to move with less pain. All her clients make each class very enjoyable. I would recommend her before any other studio in the area. I have been doing pilates for at least 20 years on the East side of the state. She was trained by the best and is the best!

I have been with Barb for approximately 16 years. She has hundreds of hours of training and continues to attend seminars with the leaders of Pilates in this country. When I started Pilates I had constant back pain. Within 6 months I was pain free. She has helped me with my back, a frozen shoulder, planter fasciitis, and my knees that are full of arthritis. I am 72, active, pain free and not needing knee replacements. Thank you Barb!

The owner, Barb Constant, strives to give each client superior service by giving personalized treatment. Barb works within each person't abilities especially those with health issues. Barb Constant is a wonderful instructor, making each class interesting and both doable and challenging, personalizing exercises to each participant's ability.
