I have been trained by Kristin Schley for over 16 years. I began working out with her because I had significant back pain. She was so amazing at figuring out where my problem was stemming from and helped me strengthen muscles I didn't even know I had! My back pain resolved after a few months of working with her. She is an amazing teacher, a kind person and is always thinking of ways she can help you. You will always feel welcome and supported whether you’re a beginner or a pro.

I have been practicing Pilates for many years. I love being able to work on all the various apparatus, including chair, tower and reformer. Kristin and Laura are both amazing and push you and still make you feel accomplished. The studio is warm and inviting and I love the little “chill out room”

Absolutely love this new Pilates studio! The space is super clean, modern, and well-maintained. There are plenty of classes to choose from throughout the week, which makes it easy to fit into a busy schedule. I was especially impressed by the variety of equipment available, which really helps to keep the workouts interesting and challenging. The instructors are warm, welcoming, and very knowledgeable — they make you feel comfortable whether you’re a beginner or more experienced. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Embody Pilates and Function has a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The studio is clean a well maintained. The instructors pay close attention to your form and execution of each exercise. As person who hasn’t been in a pilates studio or gym in quite some time Kristin and Kelly have made me feel right at home.
The varied music selection is motivating as we work through the exercises. Also, classes start and end on time.

Kristin and Kelly are absolutely amazing and so welcoming. When I first started attending classes with Kristin I was very new to pilates and using different types of pilates apparatus. Kristin has been so helpful in making sure I learn the proper foundations of Pilates and am comfortable with various exercises on different machines. Her attention to detail along with body movement and alignment is remarkable and I appreciate how hands on she is throughout every class. Kristin has made learning Pilates such a joy! Kelly’s functional classes are always fun and most definitely challenging. She is literally the best hype woman and will meet you where you are at, while still pushing you to try new things. Kelly is constantly providing encouragement, and ensuring everyone is engaged throughout class - doing it all with a smile! I appreciate that every class with Kelly is different and I am always impressed with the diversity of exercises she chooses for her workouts. I am so glad that I found a place that makes moving my body enjoyable and challenging each and every week, no matter what class I am taking!

While visiting family in Michigan, I recently had the pleasure of taking a class with Kristin at her brand-new Pilates studio, Embody Pilates and Function, I can confidently say it was an amazing experience from start to finish.
Kristin is a truly exceptional instructor—knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly encouraging. She takes the time to ensure that every movement is done with proper form, making adjustments as needed while keeping the class flowing seamlessly. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, she creates a welcoming and supportive environment that allows you to challenge yourself while feeling completely at ease.
The new studio is absolutely stunning. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the calming and energizing atmosphere. The space is beautifully designed with a variety of Pilates equipment and classes.

There’s so much to love about this studio- primarily that I know I am getting excellent training from professionals with quality experience! Kristin and Kelly focus on foundational fitness that you can attain for the long haul, not an overnight fad that won’t last. Kristin is a one of a kind Pilates teacher. She pays close attention to the small nuances of your body and is able to cue you just right in order for you to get the most out of your session. Her knowledge of anatomy runs deep! She gives 100% to every class and I always feel restored (and a little sore in a good way!) afterwards. I highly recommend taking Pilates from her.

I've been training with Kelly for two years and for the first time in my life, I have consistently worked out and never quit. She's always able to modify or adjust workouts as needed and isn't afraid to challenge me and push me! She believes I can do it, even when I don't believe in myself. If you're looking for a fitness trainer who combines expertise, energy, and an unbeatable sense of fun, look no further than Kelly! She is hands-down the best at what she does. Her knowledge and passion for fitness shine through in every session, and she has a remarkable ability to tailor workouts to all fitness levels. As a busy mom of a new baby and working a fulltime outside sales job and a second job as a teacher, I need to make sure my workouts are effective with limited time. Kelly makes sure to do that!
What truly sets Kelly apart is how she makes every class enjoyable. Her upbeat attitude and creative routines keep things fresh and exciting, and we always have different classes with a variety of effective movements. Whether it’s a high-energy cardio session or a strength-building workout, Kelly’s classes leave you feeling accomplished and motivated to keep coming back.

Kristin is a fabulous teacher who offers depth of knowledge on human movement and anatomy! I loved the classes I took from her - she is a skilled instructor who understands how to help you get stronger, especially if you are trying to heal from an injury or suffer from a health condition.
