Ruth is an incredible resource and a gift to everyone with whom she works! Ruth is extremely knowledgeable in body mechanics and correct movement. She evaluated my strength and studied my basic movements to come up with a detailed plan for me to follow to help with a low back/ disc issue. Her exercises were thoroughly explained and demonstrated. She sent a follow up email reinforcing our plan. She is a real delight! I highly recommend Ruth before going a more invasive path.

I have experienced chronic back pain for about 40 years. I went to many doctors, chiropractors, and physical therapist during that time many gave me pills or textbook treatment.
Ruth has a refreshing different approach, listening to understand, looking at my whole-body movement, not just the spot I have pain. Her superior knowledge of the body and mind, her encouragement, and teaching has made the most significant difference I have ever experienced. Ruth has also helped me to break free of wrong thinking in regards to what my body is capable of doing. I am so thankful for her, after my sessions with Ruth I always feel better, have a great perspective for my healing and health for the future.

I've worked with Ruth on and off for a couple of years. She is amazing. Most recently I am working through bursitis in my shoulder. I've had this 5 years ago and went to traditional PT which did help somewhat but did not help with the root cause and the bursitis returned. Ruth has identified the root cause and has helped me gain significant improvement in range of motion. She helped me return to the pickleball courts faster than anticipated. I'm even becoming hopeful I can get back to swimming. I would highly recommend Ruth!

Ruth was able to fix my several month-long hip issue in less than 2 weeks. My doctor was recommending an MRI and PT, so choosing to go to Everyday Body Works saved me a lot of time and money. We discussed areas of my posture and functional movements that needed correcting, and she gave me a couple at home exercises. That paired with some strength training had me feeling fully healthy again very quickly.

I met Ruth seven years ago when recovering from two spinal compression fractures. Although the doctor had told me to expect a lifetime of pain, Ruth helped me understand my unique body mechanics and what I could do to live pain free. She gave me hope when the doctor did not. I took her advice, continue to do the exercises she suggested, and I am pain free! Ruth is patient, knowledgeable, caring, and the best posture coach I've ever met. Ruth is extremely knowledgeable about muscle/joint concerns and I love her approach. If you have a problem, what is the root cause? If you continue to bandaid a muscle or joint injury, with cortisone shots or just rehab therapy, then it can possibly reoccur, so she studies your movement and recommends exercises and patterns of "therapy" to resolve the root cause of the problem. With her background as a physical therapy assistant and instructor, she is keenly aware of body connectivity and therefore I felt extremely safe in following her instruction. She gave me immediate follow up and exercise suggestions for correcting a problem I have been having with my knee. I received an email follow up within the day, again covering the problem as we had discussed during my session, along with video clips of how to execute the exercises that she recommended to correct and strengthen my knee issue. I am currently a part time fitness instructor and have been both an instructor and trainer for over 20 years. She is an excellent instructor for both yoga and pilates workouts. I confidently recommend Ruth for assistance with any muscle/joint concerns and for amazing workouts!
