I’m so grateful that I found Fit Camp! Coach Nick is really knowledgeable and makes our workouts fun, creating a welcoming and inclusive space (“progress, not perfection”). I love the camaraderie of the group, the feeling of becoming stronger, and having more energy. I appreciate the motivation and accountability that Coach Nick provides! Lovin' Fit Camp, Okemos. It's a great start to the day and we have a fun family established cheering each other on. I feel great when I'm consistently showing up, especially my core. Fitness and nutrition videos are easy to access and fun especially when I can't get to class. Coach Nick is 'super fun'!

I’ve gone to a lot of fitness classes. This is my favorite. Nick adds a lot of energy and fun. He switches the routine so it’s never boring and there’s alway a little soreness (a good thing). He’s also careful to help with modifications so you don’t injure yourself. But he also challenges you if he thinks you can do more. 35 minutes is perfect and then I’m on with my day!

I recently participated in the Carb Cycling program through Fit Camp 35. I wanted to lose some weight and some inches, and I just couldn't get motivated to do something about it. Other than Weight Watchers 20 years ago, I just don't follow diet programs. This program sounded different, not a fad, more science-based and logical, so I decided to give it a try.
I read the material provided, asked some questions, and set reasonable goals for losing weight and inches. The program was super easy to follow, made sense, and had accountability. I closely followed the program, asked Coach Nick my questions each week, and began to see results.
After the 6-week program, I was very pleased that my weight loss and measurements exceeded the goals I had set! I feel that I'm back on track with my portion control, eating more protein, and feeling I have the will power to continue a healthy lifestyle of eating and exercising!

A former workout friend and neighbor recommended me to come to Fit Camp 35 while visiting from Florida. Can't say enough about Coach Nick. He greets you with a smile and makes you feel welcome. The workouts are amazing and fun. Coach Nick challenges you but you as a participant know your limitations so he offers modifications. There are a variety of workouts everyday and it's a full-body workout in 35 minutes. Every prop seems to be used and every muscle gets a workout. I started with the 21 day trial almost 2 months ago. I had been unmotivated and spent my days doing a lot of nothing. The trial was a great start to see if it would be a good fit. Nick is a fantastic motivator and understands everyone’s limitations and motivation. Signing up has been the best thing I could have done for myself and has turned my life around. I’ve been attending FitCamp 35 for about 3 months and it’s been the best decision I’ve made for myself in years. The coach and community are incredibly encouraging, ending our 35 minute workouts with “super done,” cheers and high fives! This contagious positivity has me looking forward to starting my day off drenched in sweat.
Being new to this type of training, I worried I’d be unable keep up or be embarrassed by my inadequacies. It has been quite the opposite. This group has people of all ages and fitness levels, so the exercises are thoroughly explained, along with modifications for each. Customizing the moves to fit your own ability is normalized.
Every amazing workout has helped increase my strength and confidence, while decreasing my waistline. I encourage anyone who is looking to start or change up their fitness routine, to come join us and see what it can do for you too!!

I started fitcamp in my 2nd trimester of pregnancy. My goal was to continue exercise as much as I could while being pregnant. Fitcamp was able to work with me and modify exercises as needed! I was able to workout into my 3rd trimester. I’m currently near the end and plan to jump full swing once baby is born. The community and coaches are great! They help keep you accountable and work towards your goals.

If you’re looking for a great way to get motivated and get into shape, look no further! Coach Nick is fantastic! He is extremely welcoming and amazing at making you feel like you’re part of the “team” right away. The workouts are challenging, and he is always able to modify each one if you’re a beginner. To say that the coaches go above and beyond would be an understatement! I have been a member of many gyms and have never had trainers like Nick and Michelle. Not only do they have daily "kick butt" workouts but each one is recorded so that Fit Camp35 members can workout when more convenient. The workouts are never boring and there is always a variety of exercises with minimal equipment and alternatives for injuries, equipment, or other issues. I truly believe that the coaches want each of us to achieve our individual fitness goals.

Originally I thought this would be too hard as I was out of shape. I started going summer of 2020 and was super intimidated. When I got there on my first day, coach nick immediately welcomed me and helped me get started. It was tough. But it was the best kind of tough you could ask for. Nick was patient, funny, and made it easy to understand. I could work at my own pace and push myself while he encouraged me. I have trouble with bending my wrists and he made sure to help me with modifications that allowed me to still get a full workout in. Nick made a lot of jokes, played music, laughed with us, and helped us all feel extremely comfortable. It's hard working out in front of other people, but no one judges anyone else. Definitely love this gym.
Working with coach Michelle is a blast. She is sassy, funny, tough, and extremely relatable. She pushes you and helps guide you through each exercise. She makes you feel welcome and helps you relax when it's super tough. She also helps with modifications when you have to have one.
Being that 2020 is the year of nope, I was really impressed with how clean and sanitized everything was. Everyone was outside and spaced apart. Everything we used was deeply sanitized after each workout. When we were allowed inside, everyone was an appropriate distance and wore a mask. Everything was sanitized at the end of each workout.
Both coaches remember your modifications and add them in when they show you a new exercise. They make every workout, while tough, enjoyable. I have never actively wanted to workout before, but that changed when I came to this gym. It truly is a place of no judgment, friendly people, and quality workout. Plus, it's only 35 minutes so it's easy to squeeze in.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to workout and get in shape. Its tough, but a fun tough.

Coach Nick and Michelle are awesome! I originally joined in Nov 2018, 11 months before my wedding to help me lose weight, look good, and feel better about myself. Nick and Michelle are always so helpful, encouraging, energetic, and most importantly in my case they worked to hold me accountable. I love the convenience of the quick, high energy 35 minute workouts that never get boring because Nick and Michelle are always introducing new exercises and variations to keep it fresh and always cheering everyone on! Even with the pandemic going on, they've continued to adapt and there are live virtual workouts that are recorded and can be done later if you can't do the workout live with them. I couldn't have been happier to have had them at my wedding!

FitCamp35 is such a wonderful, welcoming environment. I am no stranger to the fitness world, but I was a stranger to this kind of workout, high intensity interval training. From my first 35 minute session, I fell in love! It challenged my body in new ways I didn't know was possible! Trainer Nick is so skilled, he guides us through these exercises with such ease and excitement! Even at 6:10am, his energy level is through the roof which makes for the best workout! The other clients in class are so friendly and fun, and we all encourage each other throughout the workout. Having all ages and physical strength levels makes for such a comfortable environment. I highly suggest giving FitCamp a try, you won't regret it!

As a college student I am constantly busy and the trainers (Nick and Michelle) work with me constantly to keep me accountable and not only get to know me in regards to my workout goals and ability, they also take the time to get to know me personally.

I moved to Michigan at the end of May 2017 and had a really hard time finding a gym that motivated me. I have been athletic my whole life and moving here got me into a real low. I made a lot of excuses regarding my health and didn’t feel the same passion surrounding working out that I had in the past. I tried out Fit Camp 35 during a promotion they had called the “21 day detox.” This included 21 days of group fitness classes, along with meal ideas, and access to a private Facebook group where Chad Johnson himself would post videos with tips and motivational talks.
This place is more than just a gym. It’s so personalized and fun. The support from the instructors and the members really pushes me to improve myself. I’m not a morning person at all and I have woken up at 5 am time and time again to work out. There is also a rewarding achievement system where you earn a wristband after completing a certain number of workout sessions, which is awesome! Shout out to Nick Heurer and Michelle Hyde for making the 35-min workouts challenging, yet super fun. Thank you for everything fit camp!! I highly recommend the program to anyone, at any phase of their fitness journey.

There are tons of time slots to choose from and they like to switch things up so you never get the exact same workout twice. The staff is friendly and personable. Fit Camp 35 is AWESOME! After six weeks of of being around Nick and staff, my wife and I feel like we are part of a community. There is so much positivity flowing through the workouts and Nick does a great job leading this. Nick Heuer is customer focused. He listens to the voice of the customer and understands the challenges of each individual participating in his class.
Nick is a great communicator. He builds the relationship first by approaching the trainees and taking the time to say “good morning” “how is your day going” “Did you have a good weekend?” the effect of the relationship-building is a key in building trust and confidence. He sends his message, each time he communicates. His communication is clear and leaves no room for confusion on directions to follow.
Not only He is a good communicator, he is also a great listener. He takes the time to listen and provide feedback on the topic being discussed. He is very engaged in the conversation and always listening with a positive attitude. He sure knows how to create a motivational environment. His trainer’s high qualities and motivational personality made it easy for me to wake up at 4:30 am and to look forward to start the day with a great class.
He is physically fit and serves as a role model for the customers, and shows that he is serious about the benefits of fitness. He is very passionate about the class. Training is his main thing, not just a side job. He leads an active lifestyle and produces results by working hard during class and by providing nutrition guidance.

Nick is not only best in what he does, but also a very good human being.
His positive thoughts bring in a great positive energy into team.
Without all that positive energy from the coach and team, I could never imagine myself getting up at 5 AM, even when other time slots are available.
The program is fun & flexible to fit to your current fitness levels yet challenges you increasingly so that you will keep improving into better shape.
