Attended a Freeland lions association fundraiser event. It was the Vegas night. Very nice place to hold this type of event. Separate rooms for dinner and gambling. Dinner included salads, sides, finger foods, along with chicken and stroganoff,dessert table and beverages. 50/50, card games, big wheel, and roulette. All the ticket numbers are pulled and one wins $5000, one wins $2000, and one wins $1000, while ten numbers win $100. The facility has gymnasium, looked super nice, but our party was not held in there.

Annoying redhead employee was continuously watching me work out (10+ minutes). Eventually walked up to me and insisted I'm dropping the weight machine weights. I'll retain that I didn't, and I've been lifting for 5 years. I know how to work out, thanks.
Also found she was quite condescending by referring to me as "buddy" multiple times during our conversation. Like the gym but I'd rather not be stared at and interrupted whilst doing simple workouts for no reason.

I lift weights and have participated in the Yoga classes here since early 2019.

Yoga - I appreciate that it is offered but I have not attended due to the revolving door of instructors recently. Some instructors were intense, which I liked, others are gentler, which I like less as part of exercising but more for its mental cleansing/decompressing aspect. I do miss the intense yoga instructors.

Weightlifting - best quality, simple-style gym in the Saginaw Township region. Clean, simple, no-nonsense athletic atmosphere. Weights are organized and cleansed thoroughly. Dumbbells are clean and high quality. Dumbbells also are in 2.5lb-increments from 5-20lbs, which is nice for shoulder laterals, for example. Dumbbells are always racked and organized. Machines are modern, though repair times tend to be long. Luckily, a broken machine is a rare sight at this gym. Has virtually everything a serious weightlifter needs.

There is, generally, a positive developmental atmosphere here. I personally enjoy the sometimes inspirational, other times humorous quotes that are written on the chalkboard that is visible when exiting. The people here are, generally, friendly and knowledgeable and respectful of others. I highly recommend this gym for weightlifting newcomers, casuals, and the dedicated.

One note, though - the really serious and hardcore gym--goers may find the music selection here to be questionable. Every time I hear "Hey There, Delilah" playing in the background, I consider switching to Coop's.

Avoid this gym.
1. They won't let you try out the gym to see if it's right for you. This means you have to try out the gym paying a whole years of dews to see if it might be right for you.
2. If you sign for a membership it's a year commitment. No exceptions.
3. Extremely rude and lazy front desk staff.
4. Extremely awkward room filled with dead animals. (No joke)
5. I understand that it is a gym but you could at least try and cover the smell of sweat.
6. I went to use the bathroom and the toilet and floors were extremely dirty.
7. Filled with gym bros.

My advice is go to planet fitness at least they are nice at the service desk and they attempt to keep the toilets decent.

I now have a year membership for a gym that I don't even want to go back because of lazy staff and gym bros. 👎

I've always had a great experience here and there's a ton of equipment so anyone can workout here. I like that they have an indoor track so you don't have to run/walk on a treadmill if you don't want to and there are plenty of rooms to workout in so you don't have to always be in the main busy areas. Wish I lived closer since its one of my favorite places to workout and the membership fee was great especially for how much you get access to.

I would NEVER recommend FSZ’s kids summer camp to anyone. They are extremely inexperienced with younger children. Alexis the director is rude and very unaccommodating to any situation. I also reached out and left a voicemail to her director and never once received a phone call back. As a business owner myself I’m pretty understanding of businesses and rarely leave bad reviews. However I’m extremely unsatisfied with their summer camp and how it was ran especially with what I paid.

The Freeland sports zone is a great place to belong . I have to give my public apology to Tallie as I now have a new image of her . Great place for workout
It is clean and atmosphere is pleasant. Machines are new with excellent abilities for connecting your device if you wish. There is a walking track and several rooms for other workout activities. My favorite part is the Empey Room. After a workout I enjoy cooling down here. It is a wonderful area to m about and see a tremendous amount of birds and many other types of wildlife. A great place to enjoy nature from the indoors!

The bathrooms were disgusting. There was urine all over the toilet seats and toilets were not flushed. There was no hand soap to wash my hands after and no paper towels also. The weights were all over up stairs and it was a mess. The machines were sweaty and not cleaned after use.
