Love Good Karma Yoga Studio! Donna and all the instructors make me feel right at home and offer tips and encouragement when I need it. I’ve tried a variety of classes and am looking forward to trying more!

Good Karma is, hands down, my favorite yoga studio in the area! I actually live within walking distance to a few yoga studios in town but the flexibility of the times of their classes is what drew me to them in the first place. I love that they have later evening classes which makes it easy to go to after work.
All of the instructors are wonderful and I love the atmosphere!

Words cannot Express how wonderful this place is. I have learned so much about myself and what yoga can do and how much it really does change yourself. Not just in the physical state, but emotional too. The teachers here are all so incredible. They are so informative and sincere. Love this place!

I was treated very badly at this yoga studio and would not recommend it at all, even if it's the most convenient for you. I came into the yoga studio not knowing it was all hot yoga, which I'm currently unable to do for health reasons. I then - before leaving - comment (to my friend) how frustrating it is that all yoga studios have converted to hot. The owner decided to insert herself into the conversation, and in tone dripping with condescension, informed me that " yoga originates in India and it has always been hot.". She spoke to me assuming I have never done yoga before. I have been doing yoga for 15 years and have friends who instruct. I'm not sure what precipitated her to speak to a client that way, but the effect is easy to predict - I will never set foot in this yoga studio, nor would I recommend it to anyone. Her being rude is not as concerning as her being grossly uninformed about yoga. To me this means that you risk 1) learning incorrectly and 2) put yourself at risk of injury. It is a misunderstanding that yoga room should be heated. In true traditional yoga, it is through the movement that you create internal heat, stretching and warming your muscles to prepare for sitting in meditation. Enjoy the heat, but do so understanding this is an Western twist on traditional yoga.

I've been here since I was a beginner student. I enjoy the freedom and exploration of postures offered by the teachers here. I never feel judged for trying a fancy pose or embarassed when I fall out of it, in fact it's encouraged to laugh off your "mistakes" and try again! The commradery among staff and students makes this studio feel like home. I love it here! THANK YOU GOOD KARMA for keeping yoga fun and healing at the same time.

I love Good Karma yoga, their name truly speaks for itself. The studio and owners, both Donna and Tanya, are welcoming and warm. Their classes have something for everyone (I personally love the vinyasa and ashtanga!) and they change it up so you're never bored! They truly care about their students and make an effort to know everyone's name and get to know you, through conversation and asana assistance if you want it. They also hold lots of fun events and workshops, creating a diverse, unique atmosphere. And, best of all, their class packages never expire! That is the only studio I have ever gone to that allows that, and that, among all of the reasons I listed above, is why I will always continue going back there. Never losing $, great teachers, serene studio - what more could you want?! Try it out, you won't be disappointed!

I really enjoy this studio. The atmosphere is great because it is very low lighting and it really lets you get into your own practice and not worry about others that are also in class with you. The instructors are helpful but they are not nit-picky about posture. They are also helpful in recommending different postures that are more challenging for those that need it, or providing modifications that are less challenging. I've seen people of all types in the classes and a few women that are pregnant. I highly recommend this studio.

Great place to do beginning yoga if you like the music blaring so loud you can't hear her talk and you certainly can't meditate. When I asked her (Tanya) to turn it down a notch she simply said that's the way we do it here. Then she gave us a lecture in class about leaving your ego outside which I got a great kick out of. I am a senior and maybe this is just a great place for kids but other studios don't play the music this loud in beginning classes I was grateful to find out

This is more than just a yoga studio! The ladies, Donna and Tanya, have created a unique experience of fitness and mediation. Whenever I go for class, my skin feels better, my body feels better and most importantly--my mind feels better. They are open to any and all levels of yoga experience, and they emphasize a "no mirrors" experience. They provide positive talk that has helped me to let go of my body conscious moments on the mat. The music is a great blend of east meets west, and the studio where classes are held is warm, cozy and gorgeous with a barn door and wood floors. It's like a big yoga hug.
