I am so lucky to have found Sarah! She trained me all throughout pregnancy, modifying exercises along the way, and afterwards. She mixes things up so that I am always getting stronger. My sessions with Sarah are often the best part of my week; she is an awesome and fun human being and it makes the time pass by quickly. Plus her new space is beautiful and really convenient. I can't recommend her enough!

Sarah is an incredible personal trainer that customizes every workout to what YOU need. I love how she is always changing up the routine, targeting slightly different muscles, so that you never get bored and your muscles burn! She helps you work through injuries to get back on track, and works with you on both short and long term goals.

I've also taken yoga with her which was amazing! It's clear that this is a passion of hers and that she loves sharing this. I absolutely recommend Sarah!

11/10, would recommend!!! I started working with Sarah to prepare for my wedding and honeymoon and I will never stop! We started doing sessions just twice a week and I have never felt more beautiful and strong!! Guests were literally asking me for the name of my trainer because I LOOKED AMAZING (I was feeling the confidence!!!) - my arms and abs were absolutely shredded!! - and the BEST PART is it wasn’t just looks.

I have seen so many improvements in every part of my life from working with Sarah -
we do mostly weight training in our sessions and because of it, my strength, agility, posture, yoga practice, and speed have all noticeably improved in ways I was not anticipating!

As a client, Sarah designs a personalized program that adapts to your needs while continuing to forward your progress towards any long-term or short-term goals. She is extremely knowledgeable about anatomy, biomechanics, nutrition, and recovery and has formal training, education, and valuable experience in the field working with clients to reference for supporting you in your workout. She is also a certified yoga teacher and provides effective coaching for breathing when doing difficult reps, helpful visualizations to make sure form is on point !, and a multitude of acceptable accommodations for any new moves we try. She infuses some yoga postures into the warm-up and cool-down as well which I love.

She is amazing!! She is so encouraging and supportive, which I needed (I have never lifted before!!), and responsive to my short and long-term fitness/wellness/life goals. I am training for my first ultra marathon and so she is adapting my program to be sure we incorporate exercises that will continue building strength to support my performance and avoid injury. That’s the thing though, not much really needed to change because she has already created such a comprehensive program for me as she does with each client!

Just from lifting with Sarah, my mile pace for a half marathon improved by 1 minute without speed training, I popped into a headstand for the first time in yoga bc of new upper body strength, I can pick up a full laundry basket with one hand, I can lift my roof rack over my head without problem, I can open jars.. - all from starting ‘basic’ training sessions! I feel amazing, and I’m clearly proud of my results!! (see pics below lol) I also love that while there is a structure and great intention to our individualized programs, Sarah is always throwing in new movements and exercises to try which makes each session super engaging and actually fun! (instead of dreading a set/getting bored!)

On top of all of this, Sarah is also just an incredible human. I have been working with her for a year now and have taken her yoga classes and it is just so clear that this is her passion, that she has a deep commitment to supporting people in making meaningful (actual, tangible) progress towards their diverse goals, and you can see that because she does the same! It is a judgement free zone. I have grown and gained so much from working with her.
I also just love her space! I love being on Main Street and working out in Sarah’s beautiful private gym with the view of downtown Ann Arbor, it’s a VIBE!! I feel like that girl!

Other helpful notes:
- She is professional, managing our(my) socializing so that we always get a full hour of grind in! Never a wasted session.
- She is flexible and responsive to schedule changes - as a PhD. student at the university with a crazy schedule, this is important for me!
- She is humble, inclusive, and kind. She has a diverse group of clients and I never feel out of place or unwelcome.
- She meets you where you are and you become better because of it!

a long review - this has been such an impactful experience for me! so yeah, all that said.. lol I would 11/10, definitely recommend working with Sarah!!!!

I've never had so much fun or made so much progress working out than with Sarah! Her programming is thoughtful and fun, with safety in mind. Sarah is always accountable to me and my progress and inspires me to be accountable to myself. If you’re looking for a workout that will challenge you and encourage your growth, definitely contact Sarah! I’ve been working with her for over a year and I’ve gotten stronger to the point I can do deadlifts with 90 lbs, do Bulgarian split squats and more. Each workout surprises me on what I can achieve!
