About the Club

Hustle Flow Lab is a private fitness gym in the heart of Detroit, Michigan that offers one-on-one personal training and small group training. They focus on a variety of training methods, including strength training, HIIT, kettlebell, TRX, yoga, Pilates, and cross-training. Their mission is to instill confidence in their clients through strength, endurance, and high-quality performance training. Each workout includes a dynamic warm up, central nervous system prep (CNP), foundational strength movements, functional accessory and midline focus, conditioning and mobility . All sessions are modified to meet every fitness level.

I absolutely love Hustle Flow Lab because of the incredible community. The people who go there are so uplifting and supportive, everyone motivates each other and helps keep one another accountable. The coaches are amazing too, they’re always cheering you on, encouraging you to push to your fullest potential while also checking in to make sure you’re feeling okay and avoiding injuries.

As a physical therapist, that’s something I value deeply, proper form and injury prevention are key, and it’s clear the team here truly cares about that. I also love that even if you’ve been away for a while, you’re welcomed back like you never left.

I love the Lab so much. It is an amazing place to start your fitness journey. The gym culture is so amazing here. It always feels like a safe space. Importantly it is very clean. The staff are so supportive and accommodating. Classes, open gym, 1:1 training anything you can think of, is all available here. My trainer is Lilian and 100% recommend her for any 1:1 trainings. As a beginner she is wonderful for someone who is just starting out. She’ll be honest and push you as far as you need to go. I love her! Our trainings have literally changed the way i view exercise and allowed me to incorporate training as a lifestyle more than a hobby!

I’ve been working out at HFL since 2021. I worked out here 3x/week during my entire second pregnancy. I returned postpartum & haven’t looked back. It is such a great environment & when if I miss a work out, I miss it physically but also emotionally!

I have been working out at Hustle Flow Lab for over 8 months now and after being a multi sport Athlete I finally found the gym and trainer that is perfect for my goals. Lindsay, the owner told me she was bringing a new personal trainer that fits perfectly for the gym and the direction they are headed. I am the lucky one that has been working out with Lillian twice a week for the past several weeks and Lindsay was not wrong. Lillian tailors to your needs and wants nothing but the best out of you. She pushes you to put in hard work. She takes you to a level that you didn’t know you had and motivates you like I’ve never seen before. Your mind wants to quit before your body, but she’s there to push you and remind you what you’re working for and that you can do this. She has a unique coaching style like I’ve never seen before. I have texted her several times “Thank you for pushing me.” She has also texted me after some workouts just a reminder to keep pushing in great job and always following up and how you’re feeling and always wanting to grow herself. This gym is the decision that will change your life. It is the best investment I've ever made in myself and has not only improved my fitness but also my confidence, mental toughness, and sense of self.
The coaches are experts in the function of the human body and training techniques. The workouts are always intentional and progressive -- with room for challenge or grace as your body needs it. Modifications are always readily available and encouraged as necessary. Trainers at this gym believe 100% in the abilities of clients and are cheerleaders just as much as they are exercise advisors.
The other members are incredibly friendly and have all different skill levels.
I am the strongest I have ever been since joining Hustle Flow Lab and I am motivated every day to keep progressing towards my goals. This gym makes succeeding easy by making the work enjoyable, fulfilling, and efficient.
The aesthetics are the best of any gym I've been too. Incredibly clean with a great variety of well maintained equipment. The workouts follow the same pattern each week, but are intentionally varied to optimize building strength and endurance.
I typically attend 5 classes per week and find the variation really helps to not over fatigue any particular muscle group. I genuinely look forward to every single class!
