Stopped into this facility for a photo shoot with Happy Shake which is a small Cafe serving drinks and food in the lobby of the fitness center. Desk operator Cameron was very pleasant and great to talk to while I was waiting for the food to be made. Since I came in on a spring Saturday, the gym was incredibly packed with a junior Pistons program and lots of kids having fun. It seemed like a very robust and well equipped facility.

I went to this gym with my girlfriend son expecting to get in I asked the lady at the register for a day pass and she asked how old the kid was and I said his age which is 12 and she said nobody under the age of 14 gets in which is stupid because they have a jr Detroit pistons program there. There wasn’t any other gyms to go to since the y down the street was closed. Terrible why would it be 14 and older that is just stupid. Never coming back.

I am a returning member from Hurley Fitness and enjoyed it very much back when. After discovering that the facility was opened again I canceled my other gym membership at a different location and started working out at Insight Fitness Center. The center is still kept up very nicely and clean. I enjoyed my first day in the high intensity interval training class with Darius who is awesome, and am looking forward to the kickboxing class. I really love the big indoor track, and will be attending the aqua exercise class as well as hitting the weights. There's so much to do at Insight to assist me into getting back into shape, and I'm so happy to see it up and running again. The staff is amazing and very friendly, which is very important. Thank you Insight for opening a snack bar soon. I'm hoping there are vegan options for us vegans! Happy to be back!

I have addressed it up to the executive level & still it is miserable. 53° outside & 72° in the room. With two fans up on tables blowing on you it will get up to 78° or higher.

I have received nice care through Insight. The staff is awesome. Noelle does a good job. She's just only available for one hour a day. That doesn't give people much options. Bilal, the personal trainer does a good job. I like his encouragement . It helps for sure.
I do have some areas though I'm not really thrilled with. One is in the pool. There's only one set of stairs to get in for patients. That isn't good or safe if it was to get busy. The hot tub would be better with more jets in it, especially for therapy patients.

Noelle is great very helpful and knowledgeable but the pool needs some TLC the algae that is on the pool surface and pool walls need to be took care of as patients pay from their insurance this should be took care of as well as the steam room floor and the women's locker room floor I am allergic to this and really can't continue to get in the pool and break out .I give Noelle 5 stars but can you do something about these issues

I joined Insight when it was still Hurley in 2008. I attended at least two AquaZumba classes per week (often a third on Saturday mornings); a great way to wind down after work. I also attended Tuesday evening and Saturday morning Gentle Yoga classes with Marcia (LOVE the relaxed atmosphere!) and Yin Yoga on Friday mornings (strrrretch…ahhh). I have missed this routine and cannot wait for classes to resume!

I love the Spin and Aqua Zumba classes they offer!!! The remodel they have recently done is looking great! The jacuzzi got a much needed face-lift with new plumbing and tile! The new epoxy flooring is a nice upgrade from the old carpet, the showers got a face-lift with new tile and grout, the running/walking track was resurfaced, and the basketball court looks amazing! If you remember the old smoothie bar, you'd agree it needed a remodel. They have done that! The new front desk sets the mood for what to expect with a new modern look, and those epoxy floors....Looking good guys!
