They will not ever call you back. I have been trying to cancel my membership and get no response. When I was using it they were often only "staffed" in the morning. Their home office has no problem calling if you don't pay but even they won't reach out to the actual location to have them return calls. They said they would "note my account" that I want it canceled. You are required to go in person to cancel, but no staff is there after work or if they are they won't call me back to schedule a time I can come in.

Go to snap or planet fitness, at least you'll be able to cancel when you want. This place was the biggest waste of my money. Had a 2 year contract but after that, they kept trying to charge me even after talking to them telling them my contact was over and not signing another one. I ended up having to go change bank cards then the gym sent me to COLLECTIONS for a contract that was over for over 4 months!!! Will never recommend this gym to anyone.

I like going to 24/7 fitness. It’s affordable and they have a lot of stuff that you can use and also lots of space. They have a massage chair that I use like every day plus tanning bed and a stand up tanning bed as well. Way better than snap fitness just saying. 😎

These people are scammers. They make you sign a contract and they don’t explain what is on the contact. The contract says you cant leave that gym for a year or two. I would understand stand if it was a big gym but that gym compared to planet finest is a joke. I am moving out of state and they told me that I have to send them a address after I sent them the address they said they need a bill or a Amazon package that says your name and address. Moving out of state is a process it’s not a day thing so they are taking 7 dollars a week which I know is nothing but it is $7 I can use for something else. DONT RECOMMEND

Very poor experience. I have not been able to get ahold of them and I have been trying for over a month to cancel my membership and i’m still being charged after moving. Wish I had read the reviews! They will scam you if you try to cancel. They continue to charge regardless of how many times I say so. Finally had to cancel my credit card but THEN I got a text saying there was something wrong with my payment (the month after I canceled the credit card) ummm... yes because I canceled a year ago?!?!? The gym itself is not great and poorly managed overall, hence the cancelation.

I actually won a membership which was not only a "sign" but also a blessing. I also bought my daughter a membership and we are slowly making gains and actually enjoying it! The owner showed me around and how to run the equipment and was very helpful and understanding of my newness to the gym scene. It's clean, My daughter and I are comfortable going at our own pace, and confident that we'll see results we just need to be more committed lol bonus is after a nice workout I can relax in the tanning bed, or the massage chair. Overall I am satisfied and happy that I have made this commitment and hopeful for results. It also gives my daughter and I some bonding time and we motivate each other

It’s not a bad place.
It has a nice space. Most equipment. That’s really about it.
locker room/bathroom is outdated and reeks. Only one shower.
They kept screwing up with my payments and account. Switching few different debit cards few times. Plan/Charging by weekly is absolutely ridiculous. Should have kept it monthly.
They didn’t do anything to cancel my membership. I went back to Snap fitness. They are absolutely better than that sketchy business. I owe them 670 dollars now because of the contract.
You’re better off with snap fitness.

Its a basic gym. The equipment is adequate. Several of the cardio pieces of equipment were broken. Staff is moderately friendly. Again very basic. The equipment is extremely dirty. When I have gone to other gyms in the past they always wipe down every part/piece of the equipment. ALL of the equipment has tons of dust, oil, dirt all over it. It appears they have never been cleaned. The price for what you get is not great. The best part of the gym so far is that it is local and its open 24/7. They do not have an APP for your phone so you will rely on a key card to get in and out. The bathrooms are not clean either. I have not gone over to Snap fitness which is the other game in town to see how it compares but it might be worth checking out. I didn't check out Snap as they had such bad reviews online.

I really like that this place is open 24/7. Made it very convenient when I only had time for an early or late workout. I recently moved and needed to cancel my membership, and unfortunately I ran into a little issue. Good pricing and friendly when you are under contract. I called to make sure I was not renewed and was told that if I didn't sign another contract I would be canceled. I asked the manager, Rick, several times if I needed to sign anything and he assured me I was good to go. They keep charging me, will not return calls and are conveniently out when you stop in. This practice is extremely deceptive and in my opinion criminal. Many other people in Ionia have complained about the same thing.

I would not recommend this place to any one. I started a 2 year contract but before the 2 years was up I ended up moving. So I called them to cancel my contract so I wouldn't forget about it. Now I have collections coming after me saying I owe them almost $200 for my renewal that I clearly did not ask for since I canceled the contract. I have called the location 3 times now to talk to a manger but every time I get the run around saying the manger is not there and that they will call me back. However, I have yet to get a call to settle this issue. It is beyond words on how shady this place is operating. Be warned do not go here they will RIP you off.

Upon my initial visit I thought the gym smelled a little and some equipment wasn’t well taken care of. I.e. blue masking tape on the machines over obvious fabric tears. They have a stand up tanning bed outside of any room. I say this as a privacy concern for the female memebers or males for that matter. I mean it’s literally in the middle of the workout area. But seeing as I just moved up here and the lack of gyms around I figured I’d give it a shot. That was after talking to the younger gentleman at the front desk. He offered me a 7 day free trail. Anyway I went in today and spoke with who I found out was the owner. I explained I was in previously and accidentally washed the pass. He says that’s fine, but just to let you know if you use the 7 day pass I have to charge you 39.99 a month instead of the normal 19.99 a month. I’m not understanding at all where that would come into play. Just a tactic to put money in his pocket ?. Since we know by the gyms condition it isn’t being reinvested. He seemed pretty arrogant and about himself and his business the whole time. Telling me he’s the cheapest gym in Michigan which I know is B.S. Doesn’t offer a month to month contract. Gives you the “corporate deal” scam. Then proceeded to down talk any gym in the area. Upon him and his arrogance I took my business to snap fitness in Greenville. Equipment over there is worlds nicer, it’s all cybrex which is one of the best, gym smells and looks clean. Price may be a bit higher but the old saying is you pay for what you get. Oh the most laughable thing is 25$ for a plastic barcode tag to get in. The gym I attended in howell before moving here had nice rubberized elastic wrist bands with a RFID chip in them for 25$. Dude is in it for the money only. Plus I paid 30$ month to month and the gym in howell was gold plated next to this dump. Don’t believe me google endeavor fitness howell, MI. Don’t get cheated by this man. Pay the 10-15$ a month more for quality. I wouldn’t have went out of my way to say this if this owner wasn’t such a arrogant a**.

I've been going here just over a year. I like the manager Rick, he's always very nice. The gym is smaller which I love. I only gave 3 stars because it does seem to take a long time for them to fix a machine when it is broken, which is a bummer when some of them they only have 2 of.
