Tonight was my first night back after a few years and IT FELT SO GOOD TO BE BACK! I love the "no judging" feeling I get here. The songs were current (with a couple of oldies mixed in for good measure) and the routines were manageable for any fitness level. If you've never been, I highly recommend it!

Jazzercise has been my choice for fitness for about three years now. As someone who previously hated exercising that says a lot! The owner and instructors are all amazing and they even have childcare during the week for a few classes. Bonus for young moms!

The South Lyon Jazzercise Center is an extremely warm community, from the owner, Shirley, to the amazing & enthusiastic instructors, to other members of the center. Most of the class types are a combination of cardio and strength (though there is one format that is purely strength), incorporating moves from Pilates and yoga as well. There is a range of music spanning all genres (and the instructors are always open to requests!), and the classes are so much fun that it's easy to forget you're doing something good for your body. It's appropriate for all fitness levels, and moves can be modified as needed. I've been Jazzercising since 2011 (started at another center in a different state), and it's the only fitness regimen I've consistently stuck with because it's so much fun. There are also challenges throughout the year to inspire you to be accountable to your workout goals, and Shirley is making a tremendous effort to partner with the greater community in various endeavors. I've found the classes to be worth every penny, and I enjoy Jazzercise much more than working out at a gym. It's also how I discover most "new" music these days. :)

I've been doing Jazzercise for 20 years and I absolutely love it! The instructors are energetic and provide a great cardio and strength workout. I also love that they are constantly adding new routines to new music. I never get bored and can't wait to go back!

Since joining Jazzercise in 2011, I've met so many new friends! The instructors are all so nice and will help anyone who needs it. The cardio and strength training in each class keeps our hearts healthy along with our bodies. I love music and dancing, and Jazzercise has it all. It makes exercising FUN!! πͺπ΅πΆπ

Thanks to Jazzercise I have gotten motivated to get into better shape and lose over 20 lbs. The Center has a new look and an amazing new owner, Shirley King. She is really good at explaining ways to adapt the moves for all fitness levels and knows how to get you excited to be there. All the instructors make sure we get a good workout and I love the encouragement and inspiration I get from the other students as well. I always work up a good sweat and have fun at the same time.
