I joined CrossFit four months ago, and the coaches are phenomenal! They are excellent at providing alternative exercises, which is helpful since I'm a beginner with some health issues. The workouts are intense, but they contribute to my personal growth and foster a sense of achievement. I've noticed improvements in both my endurance and strength. CrossFit has been the best treatment for my physical and mental health.

I recently joined CrossFit and am nearing the two-week mark. The experience has been incredibly positive, thanks in large part to the fantastic coaching team. Despite starting from a low fitness level, I've received great support and guidance. The coaches are patient, knowledgeable, and attentive, ensuring that I engage in the right workouts tailored to my capabilities with appropriate variations. The sessions are demanding and require a solid commitment, but they're also fun and present a healthy challenge. I would highly recommend CrossFit to both beginners and seasoned athletes alike. A special thanks to Coach Craig and Jesse for their exceptional support and assistance.

Thank goodness for bring a friend week, I was able to witness first hand what this very structured establishment is about. Boy did they put me through a workout, and that's what I was there to do. Their coaches and even their clients are all there to help you, I've never felt so motivated by everyone surrounding me, all while being able to go at my own pace. This isn't the place to flip tires, though I'm pretty sure you could flip a car with a little time with their structured training. I'll be signing up for this program soon, so should you!

What an amazing gym! I get it, crossfit does carry a certain "stigma" and it can be intimidating to an outsider. I know personally, I was on the fence about joining for over a year and finally I got the courage to join one of their free classes and I'm so happy I did. The only regret I have is not joining sooner. The coaches are all great and everyone I've worked out with is great too. I'm thankful for KVCF and am so happy I joined. If you are on the fence like I was, I highly suggest jumping in with both feet, you will be happy you did.

Kensington Valley Crossfit is a great place to workout. I am new to crossfit and their couch to crossift program was a perfect way to get started. The coaches are incredible and the atmosphere is really enjoyable. There is nothing like working out with a group of people that are all trying to get in better shape. I have been made to feel at home from the moment I started and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to either get started or improve on their existing program.

I have always worked out on my own at home before joining Kensington. I am 60 and new to cross fit, so I was a bit worried about keeping up. No need to worry. The instructors are super patient and gear everything to the individual. They have made adjustments for some health issues and make me feel good about being there. I would refer them to anyone of any age or fitness level or experience.

The equipment is high quality and clean. I’m most impressed with Jess’s attention to each group member’s level, pace and any physical injuries/sensitivities. I haven’t worked out in several years. She’s knowledgeable and patient and committed to getting me started up injury free. I’ve been encouraged to perform without going so far over board I can’t walk the next day. 😃

If you're new to crossfit like me or already know what you're doing, Kensington Valley is the place to go!

In April of 2015 I gave CrossFit at try to try to get a friend to go who wanted to lose weight (and maybe gain some brownie points from my fire chief who is an avid CrossFit’er). It took about 6 months but I found it became an important daily part of my life. In January of 2018 I followed my Chief to Kensington Valley Crossfit.

Everything at KV is top notch from the equipment and facility to the coaching. But what I like most about the gym is the members are not $$$$ signs. It’s not uncommon to hear “tell your friend just to come in”, “just check someone in for class” or “what can we work out to get you to keep coming”. My own personal gains aside, it is refreshing to see an atmosphere that focuses more on individual growth than the monetary growth of the business. In the end, I think the investment in the individual will provide Kensington Valley CrossFit with far a greater return than imagined.

All that being said, when you make your New Years resolution this year, give KV a try. You’ll be glad you did!

When I started doing Crossfit it was at another gym. However I quickly switched due to a variety of reasons. Kensington was different from the moment that I walked it. There was plenty of space to move around. The coaches were attentive to the actual workout. They didn't push any additional services. Every coach is attentive and knowledgeable not only on the basic movements of Crossfit, but also the strengths and weakness of the individual.

I know that when I started the workouts looked intimidating they were able to show me that the workout on the board can and should be changed based on my abilities. As time has gone on they have pushed me when at times I didn't think I could. And they were right every time.

If you give them the time they will show you how to change your life. Or at least that is my experience.

Always wanted to try CrossFit, but was apprehensive. From day 1, the coaches and gym were supportive and motivating. The programming is built for all ages and stages. Whether your looking for intensity or just looking to get back in shape, the work-outs and coaches help scale to your needs. I haven’t been to a regular gym since joining KVCF and have no desire to lifts weights on my own accord. I enjoy showing up, not needing to think about how or what to work out and just let the gym dictate the routine. I highly recommend everyone to try this place.
