They will encourage you, challenge you, help you achieve every goal you set out to accomplish. From 80s to 20s, work outs are geared towards everyone and you get out of it every bit of what you put in.

This gym is a true community. Classes are always intimidating for me to start but the fitness levels vary. Coaches Shaq and Ashley are great at meeting you at your fitness level. They do accommodations for injuries and skill level. Also do one on one training with Shaq and it’s a great push and fun.

I started at Lake Effect Chiropractic with Dr. Ashley and she told me about Lake Effect Functional Fitness. After trying a class I joined and I'm so glad I did! I am very active and this is an activity I haven't done in a while. Workouts are tailored to each individual's capability. The small class size enables the trainer to follow each person's workout and are very helpful in making sure you do things correctly. Before each class the trainer demonstrates each workout for that day. They are very encouraging and motivated to make sure your experience is a positive one. Weekly challenges and nutrition are both another motivation with your class workout to keep at it - at least for me.

Everyone is always very welcoming and they encourage you every step of the way. From your one on one consult to every class. They work with any limitations that you have and encourage you to go at your own pace. We always laugh and have great time. I will always recommend and I will not go anywhere else.

Incredible Care & Lasting Results!
I’ve always lived a busy, active life with work and family, but I never really prioritized my overall physical well-being. Over the past 20 years, I’ve needed chiropractic care on and off—especially with the wear and tear that comes from chasing kids and keeping up with life. I even needed physical therapy at one point to manage low muscle tone and keep everything aligned.
I was referred to Lake Effect Chiropractic back in November, and from my very first visit, I knew this place was different. The doctors didn’t just adjust me and send me on my way—they encouraged me to start a strengthening program with their team as part of my care. I was sold on their whole-person approach.
Since January, I’ve been consistently attending their fitness program, and I can’t say enough about it. I love that Dr. Brittney and Dr. Ashley lead the classes themselves. They meet each person where they are, pushing and encouraging you in a positive way while tailoring the workout to your abilities.
Every 45-minute class is packed with energy, fun, and challenges—from the group warm-up to the stretching at the end. I leave each session feeling stronger and more confident.
