We are a results driven gym, that uses a mix of kettlebells, calisthenics, barbells, sleds and sandbags to achieve the results you desire!

All of our workouts are led by one of our amazing coaches. So whether you are a beginner that needs extra guidance or if you have been working out for years and want to take your fitness to the next level. We are there for you!

As a former Firefighter-Medic I have seen what happens all too often when people don't take care of themselves.

If I could give more than five star’s I would. Craig and his team are very supportive and helpful. Not only teaching proper technique, they are always monitoring to make you are doing the exercises correctly. Everyone that I have trained with has been very supportive and positive. There are no ego’s at Michigan Kettlebell! Only great people wanting to improve themselves and help you along your journey as well. Craig is awesome and always willing to help. Craig is great (and so is Dawn)! There's been a tremendous shift in my son's mental and physical fitness. He was already into sports anyway, but now he has a more holistic attitude about it and Craig has been a great influence on him. Michigan Kettlebells is absolutely fantastic!
If you are looking through these reviews to determine whether you want to give MKB a shot, you should totally do it! I was apprehensive about joining a gym since I was not a β€œgym” kind of guy. But here I am 6 months later absolutely loving it! The coaches are fantastic, the workouts are challenging yet adaptable and there is an amazingly encouraging atmosphere. I literally feel like I'm missing out when I can't go. And to top it off, I'm in the best shape of my life because of MKB!

MI KB is more than just a gym, you end up being part of a community. Everyone from the instructors to your fellow gym mates are great, look out for each other and motivate each other. Gym takes all fitness levels and all ages. Each step of the way can be catered to your fitness level and also if you have any physical impairments...and we have them all!!

First, seriously consider adding kettlebells to your workout routine. They are a 100+ year old Russian technique for strength training. I've added significant muscle, agility, core-strength and mobility since taking this up (at age 52).

Next, don't hesitate to visit Michigan Kettlebells! I joined this gym nine (9) years ago and still enjoy the coaches, fellow athletes and the workouts. Craig and Dawn run this gym without any arrogance (because they have none) and pressure (encouragement yes, pressure, no). Nearly every single exercise/move can be tailored to your current strength and mobility... you can leave any intimation in the trunk of your car!

Guy or gal, young or dirt-old (like me), this place is welcoming!

A great place for fitness! My intent was to learn the right technique and all instructors are always there to make sure you do the right way and not hurt yourself. The workouts are changing all the time so you never get bored. if there is a workout you can not do, they can replace it with another workout for the same muscle so you are not standing doing nothing while others are busy working out. All instructors including Craig are so easy to work with and approachable and willing to help out. I highly recommend this place. You will never go wrong.

Something like this is what we have all been waiting for. The classes are built for all abilities which ensures all are able to attend and get the most out of it, as well as each class being varied each week so there is no chance in getting bored. The facility itself is always spotlessly clean, well set out and you're never waiting around for the instructor. The Instructors Craig / Derek / Sean / Gary all give great individualized encouragement and instruction when needed.

My wife and I have been going here about a year and a half now. Great staff and challenging workouts. All workouts are adjustable to your individual level and pace, which is extremely important for us. Best part is that it's a fantastic social experience as well, where everyone gets to know each other, work together, encourage each other. We've made some wonderful friends.

This is not a gym it is family. From the very first day you are welcomed with opened arms. I am a novice at working out but that does not matter here. The encouragement from the coaches and members is outstanding. The coaches only ask that you give your all in each class. All members encourage you to finish and push you to give you best. Like a said at the beginning you do not realize this is a gym because everyone makes you feel like family.

I took the 7 week challenge thinking I would work out a bit, diet a bit, and lose 5-10 lbs. I never even thought about a Paleo diet that Craig (the owner) is an advocate of. After looking it over, and with my wife's help, I decided to give it a go. For me it was the best diet ever, if you like eating steak and chicken and pork. Between diet and exercise I lost over 25 lbs in the 7 week challenge. The gym and the people were fantastic, friendly, and with easy to learn instructions, I was feeling confident the very first day. The class sizes were small with personal attention to form, and I never felt bad for not being able to do as many reps as the regulars. I would recommend this gym and program to anyone, young or old, in or out of shape. I have lost 35 lbs to date and have the tools and confidence to continue my weight loss journey. MICHIGAN KETTLEBELLS ROCKS!!!!

Great gym. The trainers are friendly, engaged, and focused on class. Classes are small and everyone is there to have a good time and work out hard. Kettlebells are great for strength and increasing work capacity. Function strength is prefect for everyone.

Very cool place. I bought 20 classes with a groupon. Sure glad I did. Instructor knows everyone's name, small class size, only up to 16. Very organized. You schedule your session and go in and work hard. Cool pepl.

I've been a member for almost a year and it's been a tremendous experience. As a former college football player and workout regular, I've been going to the "traditional" gyms and fitness centers for years. Since I've been working out here, I'm probably in the best shape I've been in since school - very challenging, fun and rewarding. The workouts are ever-changing and Craig keeps you motivated!
