I booked a private class with Midwest Movement for my friend's bachelorette back in May, and it was an amazing experience! Hannah taught our class and was so kind and welcoming! None of us had previously taken pole classes, and it seemed so daunting, but she made it SUCH a blast!! She broke it down in a way that made it so approachable for all of us who were at different athletic levels, and gave us the option to do different variations to our comfort level! If you're thinking of taking classes here, or bringing your bach party, I HIGHLY recommend!!!

This was such a welcoming place! A friend and I really wanted to try a silks class, but had zero experience. Tate was such a great teacher and we had a ton of fun learning some cool new tricks!

Took my first class and had an amazing time. The instructor was very nice, kept the class moving while teaching the first timers and allowing the people who have been before to improve and continue to work on their skills. A great way to learn something new and get a workout in.

Took up a class with Dora as I was on the fence about moving to a new studio and now I've just gone with the 12 month membership as the experience really was that great!

I love this studio! I came in with no dance experience and have grown to be comfortable dancing not only with the group but even a little bit in a performance setting also. Everyone is so kind and supportive, creating a great learning experience!

This is one of the most positively impactful places I’ve ever been to. Everyone from owners to students to teachers is so welcoming. If I could be here everyday I would.

My husband and I wanted to take a few dance lessons before dancing in front of our family at our wedding. It was more so for fun, and to not feel like we were just swaying back and forth on the dance floor. We got four or so lessons from Meghan, and she was amazing. She helped us lightly choreograph our first dance with lots of flexibility. We could decide how much we wanted to do, but gave us the confidence to try a few new tricks. She also helped us cut our song a little bit so it wasn't so long. She was wonderful to work with, and I will be returning customer at some point. It was a great opportunity to have date night with my future husband, and to get excited together for the wedding.

Took an intro to Pole Dancing class with Paige. She is awesome. She was so welcoming, explained everything to us, and checked in with us as we progressed to make sure we were comfortable. This place embodies body positivity, and I am here for it!!

I haven't taken any dance classes since I was a child and had so much fun in the Social Dance class with Meg. I got to learn basic social dance and break out of my mold while learning some new moves!! I also took the Yoga for Dancers and Movers (1x month) with Autumn was an informative, relaxing, and stretched my body in new ways. Autumn is an amazing yoga instructor and I can't wait to take a class again with her!

Go check out Midwest Movement Collective and check out their classes!

Absolutely love MMC! I have taken nearly every single class, and would advise everyone to get the membership! I grew up dancing and I’m so glad I’ve found a place where I can continue as well as learn new styles as an adult.

Such a lovely studio! I was visiting from out of town and wanted to get some aerial training time in while visiting.
They allowed me to join their guided aerial silks practice with Cassie and I rented a silks point to train on my own on a different day. Everyone was so nice, the guided silks practice was really fun, and I will definitely be back next time I’m in town!

I treated some pals to a Sensual Hip Hop class on Thursday night, and we had a blast! From checking in with Paige upon arrival to the class itself with Shay, the whole experience was lovely. Awesome space, kind people, easy to follow instructionβ€”I’m so happy we went. Will definitely be back for another class with Shay. 10/10 recommend.

I'll start this review with a disclaimer that I am a yoga instructor at MMC, but as a newbie adult dancer, this studio has been fantastic.

I began learning dance just before COVID struck and had only taken eight weeks of classes in Contemporary and Modern in another city. That was the only dance experience I had in my life. After MMC opened in 2022, I jumped at the opportunity to try all of the things - Aerial Silk Fundamentals, Pole Fundamentals, Ballet Fundamentals and now All-Levels Jazz.

Not only have all of the instructors here been enthusiastic and welcoming, the community of students here is truly amazing. I feel comfortable and energized learning new skills and have also made new friends who I've connected with both in and out of the studio.

I highly encourage any adults who have been considering a new dance hobby, returning to dance or just trying a new studio to check out the schedule and give MMC a try. And if dance isn't your thing, we have several types of yoga offered during the day and evenings. :)

My partner and I took lessons with Meghan for our β€œfirst dance” at our wedding and the entire process has been an absolute delight.

Meghan is a joy to learn from and always finds new ways to demonstrate or explain a dance move depending on learning style.

They were incredibly kind and an excellent teacher throughout our weeks spent together.
My partner and I went in with basically zero dance experience and felt totally at ease.

With all the busy tasks before a wedding, having a romantic little time together to really focus on one another once a week was incredibly refreshing. I’d highly recommend taking classes with Meghan. If you’re on the fence as a newbie, just do it!

I had the best experience during my first class at Midwest Movement Collective. The class was fun, I got a serious workout, I felt included and supported. I would be at the studio CONSTANTLY if I lived closer. The variety of classes offered is amazing and I want to try them all. Plus, a woman-owned, inclusive business? Yes, please!
