My wife and I have been working with Cody for close to 3 months. He’s our 2nd trainer at Next Level and he’s pushed us harder than we thought we could be pushed. He’s tackled our personal goals and customizes workout sessions weekly. We commit to 1/week with Cody and 2 times a week outside of the gym (home dumbbells modified of the workout of the week).
Wish we’ve done this for years - but today’s a great day to keep going. Our best days are yet to come.

I've been working with Cody for just a couple months, and my life has already changed so much. My 25 year old son began with Kodi a couple years ago and it was an amazing transformation. I’m 56 and thought for the last 2 years, I could just copy what my son was doing. I would visit the gym 4-6 days a week. That was a 2 year mistake, but I didn’t realize that until after my start with Next Level. Oh my gosh. If you desire to have a lifestyle transformation, I cannot underscore enough. Just do it. Can’t afford it? Do it anyway. There is not a single better investment - he also does remote but if you’re in Grand Rapids - get down here!

I've been training with Cody since mid-2022 (one-hour sessions per week). I took a couple breaks for personal reasons, but I'm back now (Dec '23). Worth noting; Cody checked in with me to see how I was doing while I wasn't training with him. Cody is a great trainer and overall fun person. Somehow he knows just how much to push you in a session. He kicks my butt, but I don't hate my life afterwards (mostly). But he's also realistic and knows life happens. That said, outside of training sessions with Cody (or other trainers), it's up to you to workout and strength train if you have the time, and perhaps more importantly eat (and drink) right. When you're not in a session, you HAVE to do your part - the one hour sessions are not a quick fix to good fitness. If you're looking for someone to help you realistically get in better shape and hold you accountable to reach your fitness goals, look no further that Cody and his staff.

This is truly a personalized experience. Lengthy intake interview. Then I was ' tested ' on several activities to evaluate where I am, before Cody even suggests room for improvement. Well equipped small gym. Two trainers and only two clients at a time. Not a mammoth warehouse. Schedule appointment now. Before they are totally booked.

I highly recommend Larissa at Next Level Personal Training to anyone looking to improve their fitness!! She could not have been more knowledgeable and helpful in assisting me to review my current exercise plan, correcting my form, teaching me to use weight machines I had never used before, giving me tons of great cues and tips and best of all, improving my confidence in myself as I continue on my journey to better health. I trained with Ben for about 2 months and saw real results! Not only did I look good, I felt even better. Staff is patient, kind and fun to work with. Also, you don't feel intimidated because the training space is never crowded! With private trainings during COVID, you have the opportunity to safely unmask while working out if no other clients are in at that time. A huge bonus when you're huffing and puffing, sweating and burning calories!

This is the place to go if you want results! I’ve been coming to Next Level Personal Training with Cody for around a month now. When I arrived I had a lot of prior injuries to my back and knees. Cody is careful and very knowledgeable about what I can and can not do until I get stronger. Despite the limitations these injuries provide, each and every workout is challenging and pushes me harder and harder every time. I’m already stronger and feeling better!

I have joined gyms before but never really knew what I was doing or stayed motivated to work out on a regular basis. That all changed when I started coming to Next Level. I like that one on one sessions are scheduled ahead of time and the facilities are semi private and free from pressure. Cody is a phenomenal trainer! He will help you develop your fitness goals and work with you to accomplish them. He is friendly, encouraging, and knows when and how much to push you without going overboard. If you want to get in shape but can't stay motivated at a gym, Next Level is perfect for you and I highly recommend Cody!

Very nice facility and Cody is great to work with. He pushes me and is helping me reach my goals. I know personal trainers are more expensive than a gym membership, but Cody is showing me the right techniques and teaching me how to work out correctly. You can really hurt yourself if you don't know what you are doing. Overall this is a great place with great service and no judgement. Highly recommend.

I started working out a long time ago but never really knew what I was doing. So I decided I needed a trainer to show me how to get to my goals faster. I’ve been at next level for a few months now and I am now past my goal weight and gained a lot of muscle. I’ve never looked better. It’s just a one on one studio so it’s definitely more personal. There facility is great and all the staff are friendly are very knowledgeable. Great place!

I initially started training at Next Level Personal Training with Cody beginning of last year, to get in shape for my wedding. He helped me lock down personal goals and also got me on a nutrition plan. I was able to not only reach the goals I set, but surpass them thanks to his help.
