I kind of disappoint for tennis courts condition. Every time when I came in and play. The court surface is dust and dirty. Not sure how many times they do cleaning. Anyways. If I paid for membership plus court time. I would like to get courts in much better condition ... Hopefully management will pay attention of that and do some correction.

Some time ago, my friend recommended a great swim trainer who helped her daughter learn to swim, and I came to this club only because of Mariia P.
A month ago, my 3.5-year-old son made huge progress in swimming, and what is even more important - he started to love the water even more than before.

I just use it for the pool. I’m a former competitive swimmer, just training to stay in shape now. The pool is a well made 8 lane, 25 meter pool. Outdoors in the summer, indoors under a bubble in the winter.
Perfect for lap swimming, and I’ve never seen it completely booked for the 5:30-7:00am time slot. You do have to reserve a lane and pay by the hour, but well worth it for a guaranteed lane and if you have a swim buddy you can split the lane and the cost.

I joined the Sports Club as a program member for dance classes for my daughter. I have been so impressed, not only with the dance program but with the leadership, communication, and especially safety during the COVID pandemic. Every interaction I have had with staff members has been great- they are always kind, courteous, and professional. Great place! The dance program has been wonderful, we are beyond happy with the teachers and organization.

I love this place! I've been a member since 2016. Top notch equipment and latest models. I can't start my day without a great workout and I get it here! The locker rooms and saunas all top notch too. CLEAN!!! If anything is ever broke down, which is rare, it's fixed immediately. Dues are super, super reasonable and the management compares to none. Hats off to The Sports Club Of Novi!

Went in for a weight workout while in town for Thanksgiving. The Sports Club was much better than I had expected it to be. There was a large amount of free weight equipment more than anywhere i've been in recent years. Dumbbells up to 130 lbs, safety squat bar, tibia raise machine, and other things you expect to see in a good gym were all present here. To make it even better even though the parking lot was packed there was nobody else using the weight training area and had the place to myself.

When you cancel your membership make sure that you write a letter and keep it for years to come. My elderly father had a membership 5 years ago and either didn't write the letter to cancel or didn't keep it. The sports club came after him for 4k 5 years later and won quite a bit from my father. He had never heard from them once until the case. Just be aware. It seemed a bit malicious to me as he had had direct withdrawal that ended when the contract ended but they started charging monthly. He had never been to the gym after that and had not heard from them. Mind you, he did sign a contract.

Tennis facility offers many courts, but it's not organized or professional whatsoever. The pros are not 'professional' and some are not even legitimate tennis players. It is very difficult to get into any organized activities at this club and there isn't anyone who seems to know what's going on. From my experience, if you're new to the area, you're better served to try elsewhere. Also, beware of billing. If you pay for court time on an as you go basis, you'll still receive billing for the same session and they do not seem to have a way of tracking what you've actually paid for. Too bad for a nice facility to be so poorly managed.

I've worked out in gyms across the US and around the world, and I absolutely love this gym. It's very clean and is usually not crowded. All of the equipment is well-maintained, and the staff are polite. Highly recommended.

I've been a member here for quite a few years. The facility is nice...but the management are buffoons. Recently had my tennis racquet re-strung recently - they did the WORST job. The strings look like they're ready to break after two weeks, and the grip was cut too short and keeps unravelling. Some of the pro's are very good. Accounting system sucks. I'm still a member but mostly because there are no other choices nearby.
