This place is Amazing for Swim Lessons. The instructor Timmery( which I just figured out is the aquatic director) is absolutely FANTASTIC!!!! I can not say enough great things about her. She worked with my daughter in group and one on one and I have never experienced a better attitude, personality, or way of working with children as a swim instructor( I have put my daughter in a couple other swim classes previously at swim schools)My daughter enjoyed every minute with her. She was also a absolute pleasure to talk to as a parent. Lydia was also great with the children in group and has a great way of teaching the kiddos. They definitely know how to get kids to be comfortable in the water. If I could give 10 stars I would. If you're wanting swim lesson for your child. This place is it.

I just came to the front desk for the first time to ask about a membership and truly the lady there was either Ignorant and didn’t know information or she was just choosing not to give it
I asked what they offered for kids and she literally gave me nothing. I asked about swim classes and it took 20 minutes just to get an answer about swim classes.

We were considering joining, but after this experience, if this is anything of what our membership time would be like I would rather drive to Davison athletic club We’re pretty much anywhere else I Am laughing just at how hard it was to get information out of this lady. She also kept coughing into her hand and arm, and just not even sanitizing afterwards just many things I was not impressed with. It doesn’t really seem that she cares about people joining either because she really was unwilling to give any information

There was another man standing nearby. I’m guessing he was a supervisor and he did nothing to intervene or even offer information. It was really disappointing.

If you want to save yourself about 30 minutes of time and stress, do not go here to join

I'm Very disappointed with this YMCA The men shower stinks they hardly ever have soap dispensaries that are full they're usually empty or not working. The hot tub jets don't all work. A lot of equipment is worn out. there's not enough room for stretching and overall can't seem to even have the lights working at the street sign and landscaping is neglected. they claim to serve up free coffee but it's hardly ever available I'd rather pay more Then continue going to this disgusting place.the staff is friendly though, but not very accommodating to my concerns.

Nice employees and standard gym equipment. It’s now $20.00 for an adult day pass - the price went up from $15.00 in early 2025. With a price increase, they did invest in some new weight machines, which I was happy to see (no more cracked seats). However, still not open on Sunday which is an incredibly outdated practice for any gym, even for the Y. Might not be my go-to gym moving forward, considering I was a day pass patron.

Only great if you're using the gym only. Don't trust their website for anything else bc its all wrong and no one that works there seems to keep it updated. The $83 "family" plan is starting to sound too expensive for a not very "family" oriented place. Also, dont go if you want to use the pool for open swim. They have it set up for very short periods of time in the most inconvenient times of the day for families to go to so you'll never make it if you have a job. Gym is good and people are nice though but thats it.

Gave them my credit card for auto pay on a new membership. The very first day they double charged my card, it took a month for them to credit my card for their error. After a few months I needed to cancel my membership as I had knee surgery scheduled. They required me to go to the facility in-person to cancel despite my health issue. Completely unnecessary! After cancelling in-person they continued to bill my credit card for several months which forced me to resolve with my credit card issuer. I see others have had the same issue. Crooks.

I had a membership for 8 months but unfortunately I wasn’t able to go much at all so I canceled my membership March 5th and because it wasn’t 15 days before my payment days (on the 15th) they started that March 15th would be my last payment and I’d still have my membership until April 15th. Well my payment still got taken out on April 15th when it wasn’t suppose to. I’m an understanding person so I called and spoke with Skylar at the front desk and she was apologetic and took my information down for the manager to contact me the next day. I spoke with the membership manager the next day and she was very nice, professional and understanding and was very quick to get my money refunded. I really appreciate how quick, easy and understanding the staff were to the situation even though I was no longer a member. My money has already been refunded and it’s been less than 2 days. Thanks guys for your help!!

If you work first shift forget about pool access. Sad thing is the pool is the best option for busy overweight people to lose of weight without the pain of impact exercises. Strange they haven't considered that. I have no idea why the entire pool has to close for a 6 person aqua aerobics class.

The staff is pleasant for the most part. When creating my membership, I felt as though I was being talked down to. I sort of get it, I’m 22, but I’m not a child. I can read the application forms. The bathrooms could be cleaner and better maintained, as it is $50/month with financial aid. Most of all, I just wish their site and their open and close times were accurate. If you choose to go here, download the app. You’ll need it to know when the building or specific activities will be closed. Staff don’t always necessarily know, so go with the app.

This location is always filthy. There’s just employees sitting around. Paper towel always empty. Honestly for as much as people pay to go here plus donations they receive. This location could put more into looks. The Toilets shouldn’t be falling apart. If it were me, I would fire all of the sanitation and hire different people.

Its unfortunate to pay good money to come here for literally one thing... Lap swimming and i cant even do that. They have times in the day online that this Y is supposed to have the pool reserved for lap swimming. We have been coming here for over a month so far between 5-5:50pm and the pool has never been reserved for lap swim. Maybe two lanes at most and they are taken often by people who dont lap swim. The lifeguards are apparently in charge of this very small duty but i guess management does not manage their employees to make sure it gets done.

Great place to socialize for people including basketball and pickleball courts. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere has an old school feel to it, however the equipment is old and the place could use a serious update. The pool area is good enough and the women's locker room is clean. The cafe is closed most times. Used to have a smoothie bar but it hasn't been open since the pandemic.

This place was extremely clean and pleasant. I loved the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna. There was a worker named Mary and she went over and beyond her job description. We did not know we needed to bring our own towels and she gave us some clean towels from her car. We really appreciated it.

Apparently even though the hours state this facility opens at 5:30AM, that is not the case. The staff come in whenever they would like, 5:40, 5:50, whenever. Some people have a work/school schedule that won’t allow for them to start their workout later than 5:30AM. Nobody wants to arrive to the gym when they are supposed to be open, only to wait around in the parking lot for someone to stroll in and decide to open shop.

Not family friendly! I was kicked out of the pool because I brought my daughter to swim during lap swim. Mind you we were LAP swimming, we were not playing or doing anything other than swimming. There were others there who were not swimming and were just walking in the water. And while I have no problem with what anyone chooses to use the pool for we were asked to leave for no other reason than there were “adults”there that wanted to use our lane and I was told “it’s called adult lap swim”. Apparently age determines worth here and my daughter is not seen as a valid member even though she is part of our membership. I would ask for a refund for my membership but it was an absolute debacle dealing with staff to even get one in the first place it’s not worth my time. Will never come here again.

After going to a lot of different gyms, this one is my favorite. It’s clean, safe, and there is something for everyone. The employees are SO nice. One time I forgot my shoes and an employee loaned me her extra pair. I love it there!

Just joined it’s great so far, big gym basic selection of weights and cardio section .

Not at all family friendly . I joined so my 10 year old son and I could get fit together. He isn't allowed in the fit zone, pool hours for kids are 7 to 9:30 pm weekdays and the only other thing he was allowed to use was the basketball court and the racquet ball court. Children are at risk between 7 and 11 for obesity and the Y wants to send my son into the daycare "play zone". Swim lessons and Day camp cost extra even for members and the membership discount isn't worth joining for. None of it is worth the money.

I love it here! Pool, Sauna and Gym. They have tons of different fitness classes going on also! Very clean, friendly staff and people. Not overly friendly though where people try to interrupt your workout! Accommodating for families, like daycare and the fun zone! Highly recommend!

I had my kids enrolled in the s we im classes summer of 2015. This was the worst experience I have ever had. They had different instructors every week all of them teaching the kids something different each time. There were multiple parent complaints about the program. It was a total waste of time and money. We will not be going back.

my church member was telling me about two girls fondling each other up went to tell the front desk and they said they didn't see anything wrong with it. went to tell the manager and front what he said he got angry. The people said you have to leave or ill have to remove you. he got more angry then called the cops and the girls persisted on cussing out loud the cop just simply told them to be quit. he was told he has to give up his membership. This is a senior citizen and the way he treated him was ridiculous. Here the girls were groping each other that got away free from cops and they get to keep their membership and proceed to do their business when he gets thrown out! families go there to have fun not to see people doing stuff like that, get a motel.
