While the facility is clean and offers an array of machines, I started my black card membership at $20 per month. On the downside. The membership has gone up to $25.08. That doesn't seem to be a problem for me. However, the hours of operation, when I first started was 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, now the hours have decreased. The hours for a while now have been Monday through Wednesday, 24 hours a day, Thursday until 10 PM. And then 6 o'clock until 10 o'clock on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. (I assume to clean in light of Covid - 5 years ago) Now I pulled up this morning (Tuesday May 27th) and they are closed till 6 o'clock. This is due to Memorial Day. Which was Monday. This affects my ability to exercise before work, that starts at 7 am. I got up hours early not noticing a small sign posted at the door. Memorial Day has passed. Every store is closed at this hour and I am stuck waiting hours in my vehicle for them to open, only to have time for 20-30 minutes of exercise. I get greasy at work so exercising after work isn't practical for me. All said I do like the gym despite the negativity voiced among others who feel a gym should be geared more towards heavy body building. I only wish they would return to 24 hours a day. If anything, they only need an hour or 2 for a deep cleaning of the facility.

I really like how clean the gym is. But I am repeatedly annoyed that people don't follow the rules of the circuit training section and that the staff does nothing to enforce them. Nearly everytime I use the circuit, someone is just sitting on a machine I would use next for several minutes. I often say something but the staff should be the ones to do so. I am thinking of making a sign to put in there when I am working out.

Awful customer service. I was told that my minor (17) could get a physical card as long as I brought my ID in. His phone wasn’t able to download the app. When I went in Jessica Limon the club manager said they don’t do that and they can just cancel my membership without resending the months that was unused.

Worst experience ever have auto pay set up for monthly payments and for some reason in the last six months, they failed to make my payment three times but will run the card a few days later to get their payment, but not until after there’s a late fee and penalties attached. Spoke to the manager about the situation and all she could tell me is it must be my banks fault and not theirs. I then got so frustrated I canceled my membership and they said it was still valid for three more weeks but then a week later I get another late fee

I use to use this gym a couple years back when I lived in the area. I loved my experience. When I decided to move back to the area, I definitely wanted to buy a membership here because of it being open 24 hours. I was sad to see when I pulled up that they only do 24 hours on certain days. I’m guessing due to staff shortage. So many people work Monday-Friday and like to go to the gym before work. Unfortunately I won’t be able to make it to work on time if I workout at 6am. I will most likely switch to another gym that offers 24hrs Monday-Friday.

Not a big fan of planet fitness just because most of the locations I been too are so dirty. I’m from Chicago so I come to this location as a guest with my brother, but I do have to say this has to be one of the cleanest well kept planet fitness I have been too. This gym offers plenty of cardio machines and there’s hardly a wait on any other machines love that! If you’re from the area I recommend this location. If planet fitness is reading this please add this location to the Well On Target program by Blue Cross Blue shield so I can come when I’m in town 🙏🏼

Another handicap accessibility fail.

I've begun to check the shower accommodations b4 I work out so I don't wind up sweaty wo the ability to shower...

This time when there was no shower chair, I was expected to carry the shower chair into the women's locker room from the men's locker room. It was removed from the men's room for me, but carrying it into the women's room was so humiliating for me that I chose not to proceed with my workout.

Please fix handicap accessibility so that all of your locations showers are accessible to those who cannot bend to wash.

I travel around the country and been to many Planet Fitness location. This one was decent. The workout area was clean and the machines work with no noticeable tears on the seats or padding. The locker room was ok. Bring your own lock. The shower stall needs to be clean more regularly. I showered at noon on a Sunday and the drains were full of hair. Someone even left a fork in one of the shower. Don’t ask. I have no idea why.

I've always had a good experience at this Planet Fitness location. Getting signed backup was easy, and the staff were very helpful getting the app set up for me too. Looks like a lot of the equipment was recently updated, along with the changing rooms. I haven't tested out the hydro massage chair or the tanning booth yet, but I'd imagine they're just as nice as everything else. My only complaint is I don't like using my phone to check in. I prefer to leave all that type of stuff at home so I don't have to worry about it. Overall, the facility has been very clean on each of my visits, and I'm looking forward to using all of the benefits of my membership.

I travel to Planet Fitness locations all over the United States, and the only time I have an issue is at this location.

There have been 3 separate instances of team members mico managing my usage of gym equipment.

1. I couldn't use a floor mat for kneeling squats to protect my knees.

2. Barbells had to remain in a designated area - trying to do walking lunges.

3. Now I'm unable to use 3lb weights to walk with on the treadmill

Save yourself the headache travel to another location or wait to go in the evening ( evening shift manager is more personable, reasonable, & knowledgeable)

Not RV friendly.
In the lot four hours before receiving a hard knock on my vehicle, surprisingly was from someone in a planet fitness shirt. Didn't answer due to how hard the knock was, and in return, I received letters taped all over my vehicle.

Not a judgment free zone.

Parked 8am-noon when knock occurred. Just having the two letters taped in the driver view point and window seemed excessive as well.
( I did take up more than one spot, but I felt that was not the issue )

My husband and I signed up and went for our first time tonight. We were a little overwhelmed as we aren't familiar with gym equipment other than treadmills and ellipticals. We asked for someone to show us around and trainer James Klaver walked us through the entire 30 minute circuit showing us the correct way to use each machine. He was patient, knowledgeable, and eager to help us. He did a wonderful job making us feel like we belonged and we are looking forward to making Planet Fitness our gym home!

This is by far the worst gym in berrien county. I have noticed recently a lot of us pull in after 5 o'clock to get our workout and many of us noticed the door is open so we turn round and leave because we suffer from seasonal allergies and we like to be able to breathe while we work out. So we are paying to be able to work out there and they are sticking there middle fingers up at us. If you talk to them about it they say to bring a doctors slip stating our medical issues. Isn't that invasion of privacy? Seems there focus is money not quality. As far as invasion of privacy goes I will be talking to my family lawyer about this. I advise everyone to stay away from this place like the plague. .02 sorry owner nothing will change. Management at the bh location is awful.emailing them will only cause more stress on me. I've joined another gym where I can breathe inside. I'm sure more will follow
