My brother got a black card membership and went to planet fitness in a different location a couple of times before we came to this location. We get here and they are telling my brother he owes them 90 dollars from an account he cancelled 3 years ago, The other 2 times he went to PF since he got a new black card membership there was no mention of 90 dollars. The Assistant manager Joshua was unprofessional and absurdly mocked my brother at one point.

It's a pretty nice facility. I gave it three stars because of the uncleanliness of the bathrooms, some of the gym members banging on lockers and screaming out obscenities, and some members don't properly whip down there stations. The good thing about it is the variety of machines available, nice amounts of space to work out. They have massage chairs, hydromassage beds, Body sculpting machines and tanning beds. It's decent for the price that you pay monthly. Some of the employees are nice and than you have a few that are like blah but no major issues they are all cool for the most part.

Great gym experience here. They have all the basic equipment, and the place is clean. Showers are clean. Sometimes equipment is broken, but there is another machine for the same muscles available. Desk staff is friendly. Other customers are friendly but also leave you alone. Also, easy cancelation. We had some personal family changes where I would not be able to drive to the gym anymore, and Dylan was very kind while helping me cancel.

Total body enhancement bulbs are burnt out and white no red at all. Tell management and they make excuses. Some are the bulbs are expensive and we don't no what maintenance does. But they will not wave maintenance fee. This is a update on my last review total body enhancement still doesn't work and out of order but the still want maintenance fees . Update management said they don't change bulbs unless it's on schedule even if they are out. 7 days still out of order. Management said go somewhere else. Update 1 month no total body enhancement. Refuse a refund or a free month.

I few years ago, ....I decided to go DAiLY.....for a FULL month (30 days)...to Planet fitness ...every evening at 6pm.
I know that peoples' metabolism rate varies,......mine was quite sluggish at the time I began....(It speeds up when I am my healthy thin weight). ....I was really helped a lot by using the 30-minute workout station at Planet Fitness....and the massage table afterward.
Sometimes I called the same family member for emotional support beforehand...from my car in the parking lot. That was a blessing, too.
I was amazed to lose 30 lbs. in that 30 days. Something I didn't even think possible, because while I put in the effort, I had no way to know the result. I was just setting a healthy goal for myself and really wanting to stick it out.
God is so very good.
If you struggle with losing a lot of unhealthy weight, and need to regain lost strength.....give it a chance, and be consistent.
He will help you.
He is faithful.
When I lost the weight, my blood sugar normalized.....the hot flashes were lessened.....no more restless leg at night....my hair was thicker ....sleep quality improved ....FAR less stress on my feet.... plantar facilitis disappeared ....I could squat down once and get back up again with little to no effort---i felt so much lighter ...I fit my clothes a lot better, which simplified dressing quite a bit....
Literally , A whole host of problems lessened or disappeared.
I ate oatmeal daily. ....with almonds....
....and raisins (iron-rich)...
....... fresh apple slices.....with. peanut butter....
...... avocado and fresh tomato on wheat toast.
I ate healthy and I ate less......Every day.
I strictly steered clear of all sugar...
This healthy diet helped a lot , too....since neither diet nor workout contradicted the other.
They worked really well together in harmony....to help me get physically healthy.
After a foot fracture (an accidental fall at home) brought one of several temporary setbacks a year later....I was tempted to worry. I dreaded putting the weight back on and battled depression over that. For the time, I had to accept it, relax, rest up and apply ice packs, trust God, and be patient....and stay hopeful.
Now I look forward to setting similar fitness goal again......encouraged by that blessing I know is possible.

Have been a member at this Planet Fitness for a couple years now. Decided I wanted to cancel my membership and called the facility almost a week before my next billing date and they told me that it was to late to stop the ACH payment, so I figured that I would keep using the membership for another month. I ended up going in a couple days after the bill had pulled(as it is there policy to cancel in person) and when they canceled my membership the guy working said that I could continue using my membership til the next billing date. What he didn't tell me was that I would need a paper membership card to use any other planet fitness. I went to the usual gym that I frequently visit in Saginaw and they said that they didn't even know who I was without the app/membership. Don't know if this will help anyone else but maybe help save you some frustration if you have plans on cancelling.

My least favorite PF I’ve ever been to over the past 13 or so years I’ve been going to PF.
My gym is temporarily closed so this is the next closest. The staff weren’t friendly or inviting which doesn’t bother me but stood out.
Upon walking in I was told I have to write down my phone number and email “in case you lose something” when in reality this franchise is selling that information.
I did not write down my info as I checked in the way I do at any other PF.
When I tried to tan, I had to wait several minutes just to sign up as the staff couldn’t seem to really care. The manager signed me up and then a different worker stopped me and told me my eye protection was not PF eye protection so I wouldn’t be able to tan.
Really hoping my gym opens up because this is, by far, the worst experience I’ve had.
My other gym has never had an issue with my eye protection so I’m unsure what the problem was.
I will say I went last night around 9pm and had no issues so maybe the staff was just untrained or overwhelmed.

Low priced memberships mean you get what you pay for and the employees get paid un-survivable wages. Dirty, cheap workout equipment and staff that can't afford basic necessities because the company doesn't care about them or the members. There's better gyms, go check out the Y where you can have a family plan and a pool.

The rip you off on the prices. I have had a gym membership since 2018 and I can barely use it as I'm a single mother with no living relatives. Anyways I have paid for years for this membership including the annual membership fee and I think I've been there 10 times in the last 8 years so when I go into cancel today she tells me I'm being charged one more month even though I canceled 5 days before my next monthly payment is even due. It's a huge scam. Do not get a membership here if you want to ever cancel. God forbid you have an actual life changing circumstance they don't care even if it's $25. That half of a bill for some of us or some fuel. This is by far the worst billing system I've ever dealt with in my life. Then when she told me I had to sign to cancel my membership a thing popped up and it said that I'd be charged additional fees and before I signed I said what do you mean I'll be charged additional fees and she said oh no no If that's if you cancel before your first month and I said okay so I won't be charged anything she said no. I asked for a printout and the printout shows me they're not going to cancel it until the next billing cycle So she also lied to me!

Last night was the final straw for the Burton Planet fitness. With 4 plus employees standing around behind the check in desk, two of the paper towel dispensers= empty. Capacity was very low, Thursday 2-7-25 630-700 ish. The manger there Jake, very unprofessional. We cancelled our membership on the spot. Another employees parents arrived to use the tanning equipment and never even checked in.

Garbage business practices.

Planet Fitness in Burton is an absolute nightmare to deal with. While they did send me an email notification when my card was declined, they opted for a completely outdated and predatory approach to handling the issue. Rather than suspending my membership until I updated my payment info—like every other subscription service in 2024—they dogpiled three separate $15 late fees onto my account in one month.

When I phoned the manager about this excess, he agreed to waive two fees but said "corporate policy" required one to stay on—as some sort of lesson for me? Seriously? This gym doesn’t operate like the customer-focused services we’re used to. Instead, they’ve built a system to milk fees from their members. It was all shady business and unappreciated.

Also, if you want to cancel your so-called "no contract" membership, prepare to send a physical letter. What year is it?

Now it all makes sense why this place is always empty. Avoid it at all costs—there are far better gyms in the area that don’t treat paying customers like this.

I joined online this week. My first visit was quick as I didn't have much time and wanted to get the tour next time. Altogether it was pleasant. The next time I went, the manager? was there and he made me feel uncomfortable and very unwelcome. After the initial interrogation I had to show myself around and nothing was explained to me. He literally had his back to me. It was incredibly uncomfortable.

It was a decent and convenient gym when they were open 24/7 until they changed their hours. Closing at 10 pm is too early especially when you work all day. I would be a little more accepting of them not doing 24 hours for a few days a week if they stayed open at least until midnight and had more free weights. Now that they close early, even less people wipe down the machines after use and they leave all their sweat and body grease all over the machine for the next person. On top of that, there are a lot of high school aged kids that come in groups and hog some equipment and horseplay quite a bit, not to mention hanging out in the locker room and bathroom area. I’m definitely looking for a new gym now.

I just learned men in women's bathrooms and showers is a across the board policy of all Planet Fitness'. Clearly, enabling Mental Illness is a lack of a moral compass and common sense. Putting the 1% above the 99% is most definitely the wrong decision and is not accepting of the majority! Since the beginning of time there has only been two genders, male (XY) and female (XX). Being accepting of others is one thing, but putting women and young girls in a compromising, uncomfortable and possibly dangerous position is not only immoral, and criminal, but most of all sinful. ✝️ Not only that, what kind of accusations are women going too make against men if they choose too use the men's locker room and bathroom? When I canceled my membership tonight I was asked for my reason I stated it was for the fact the company stance is immoral, in regards to the recent Trans in the women bathroom. They continued to cancel the membership but when I asked what he put down for reason he stated he left it blank. I have a black card membership and have been to hundreds of PF gyms across the country. This is by far the worst location I've been to. Not because it's not clean or anything like that but specifically there are some staff members that have made my experience less than favorable. I travel for work and so I often visit many different cities and states which means I go to a lot of different locations. Sadly this gym is not living up to my expectations. If you're visiting from another gym you need to sign a liability waiver every. Single. Time. That you visit which is ridiculous considering I've been here every M - F for the last several weeks. Then today things got worse as I showed up for my daily morning workout and I was met by a female employee at the front desk who has consistently made me feel uncomfortable. Today I'm told I reached my 10 monthly visits to this location. Never once have I been told this throughout the last year of visiting PF across the country. I was told I should change this gym to my home location. Instead of trying to work with me, I've been made to feel unwelcomed at this gym specifically by one of the staff members. It's unfortunate that PF employees people who make their members feel uncomfortable. I thought their whole slogan was "judgement free" and "you belong". Not the case at this location.
