All the staff at this location are very friendly and work hard to make sure the club is as clean as possible. The new plate loaded machines they got make a big difference, and the new expansion has made the building a lot more comfortable, and more accessible for everyone to use the gym. Very easy to form friendships here and the family environment the gym creates makes you wanna come back and helps motivate you!

It’s a planet fitness so you don’t get heavy dumbbells or squat racks, but overall it is a very well run gym. Connor the manager is very friendly and the gym has great customer service. They just did an expansion, and the gym is always well cleaned. I did just leave to go to a different gym that had more free weights, but I enjoyed my time working out here.

My wife and I like this facility. We average 3 times per week. Plenty of equipment and clean. I give it a 4 star rating only because of one guy. We call him puddle man. He rides the bikes with a wet towel around his neck and leaves puddles of water where ever he goes. Sorry, but It's gross. You need to tell that guy to change his routine, process,or something. Do something.

Hope you are a liberal if you join this gym. I noticed every tv in here was playing liberal news stations, CNN, MSNBC, CBS. So I asked them to turn Fox News on ONE television for me out of 24 other televisions and they said no. I asked why and they explicitly said it was set by corporate not to change any of the TV channels. I asked why and they said to avoid fights. So you’re telling me you’re not playing conservative news shows to calm the liberals? Got it. You don’t have “equality” here.

I like working out at this facility, but I had a different experience tonight. Normally, I don’t come to the gym on a Saturday night, so I would not think to check the hours. Apparently, the way they tell their members that they’re closing is by sounding an alarm so loud which scares the living daylights out of someone. It won’t stop me from coming to this facility, it was just an annoying event that could’ve been avoided had an employee simply informed me in person.

I would be giving five stars if it weren’t for the poor tanning beds. They are breaking down, and the bulbs are not being replaced. The last time you got bulbs in, you only replaced the bulbs that were burned out. So the beds that are working are weak. I only purchased the black card membership to have access to the tanning. Now I am going to have to go to a tanning salon. Which means I may be downgrading to the regular membership. unless this problem changes in the very near future.

Overall a really great gym with friendly staff and positive vibes! Their personal trainer, Jersey, is really sweet and extremely helpful. I was always weary of gyms because I didn't know how all the machines worked. Jersey helped me make a fitness plan and walked me through all the machines, which really boosted my confidence. Now I'm a regular! :)

My only complaint is there are no paper towels in the bathrooms! They only have air dryers which are unsanitary. "Saving paper" doesn't really make sense here with all of the paper used to clean the machines. Please add paper towels to the bathrooms! I'm tired of having to use my pants or bring some from other parts of the gym and I'd like to be able to wipe off my face and my phone.

The staff here is wonderful! Very well kept gym! I am always greeted and feel welcome walking into this planet fitness. Planet Fitness requires that you spend time out of your day to cancel an account with them. They apparently will not take a request for cancellation through there website even though they are more than willing to activate your account through the web site.

I know times are tough, but to make someone who is cancelling service make time to go in person just so they can try to "save" the sale is sad.

Horrible planet fitness experience if I could give it zero stars I would. I don't usually leave reviews but I go to planet fitness to do the 30-minute circuit training. People who are weightlifting come in and sit on the machines and do not let the people who are circuit training through. This goes against rules and policy and yet management and employees do nothing to stop it or help you. If you are going here for something other than The 30-minute circuit maybe it'll work for you.

Just wanted to update my original review. Last night about 7pm the crew that was working really impressed me. Nick is the only name I caught, but everyone I came into contact with was super cool and made this old guy feel comfortable and accepted. Good job everyone. 👏

They have uninformed staff working here. New person at the front desk said that you are not allowed to use a towel to wipe your sweat while using cardio equipment and showed a statement on the whiteboard which said “no bags or clothing on the workout FLOOR”. This is actually against corporate planet fitness policy, which encourages people to bring towels, so equipment is kept clean and hygienic. When asked this person said use paper towels to wipe your sweat. He also said towel is considered clothing and cannot be used. Generally good people but this person was quite uninformed and very rude. Thank you

I just use this service to tan . Usually the employees are friendly and helpful. There have been days where they're not. All in all I enjoy my brief interactions with them. As far as cleanliness like I said I only tan but the rooms are clean and private. . As a black card member I get drinks half off and still paid 4 bucks for a Celsius which I feel is extremely overpriced and won't ever purchase a drink at that facility ever again.

This club has been extremely disappointing. The machines are extremely outdated and the management is completely rude. Today, we had an issue with management and another rude patron. The patron had an issue with my group and another man using the yellow room, and started yelling at us and made racist comments. When we talked to the WHITE old manager she took the other WHITE womans side and kept making rude comments towards us throughout our entire gym session, even going as far as lurking around where we are. If you are a person of color DO NOT COME HERE.

I have been all over the country and to many planet fitness but this is the first time I have come to one and felt like it was a fraternity playground for children. Guys trying to out macho each other slamming weights every couple of seconds setting off the lunk alarm with no words from the workers. People constantly walking off after using equipment and not cleaning it. I’d say this planet fitness is hands down the worst I have been too in my years of traveling the US and going to multiple locations. I have never experienced being at a planet fitness that feels cram-packed and so unsanitary. This will most likely be one of the last times I visit this location. The toilets in the men’s bathroom were cleaner than the equipment and that is saying a lot.

I absolutely love my PF membership! I have been working with the personal trainer, Karen. She is so encouraging and keeps me motivated. I suggest before using equipment that you join Karen for a class. She shows you how to use it properly and explains what area of your body it targets. She even customized a work out for me. Buy the black card membership and you can use the hydromassage, red light therapy and tanners all included in your membership. Awesome deal!

I have been a member of planet fitness for several years, I’m several different states. I have never experienced a rude employee until today. Which ever girl was working the desk this morning was beyond rude. She was rude the moment I walked in. I just tanned this morning and she went so far as to knock on the room I was in. I started the bed 1 1/2 minutes early and was out of there in a timely matter. When I returned the magnetic room number sign, I asked her if she needed something. She very flatly, and in a condensing way, sad no. I have been in customer service for 25 years and this is unacceptable behavior. Like I said, until today, here in MI, I have NEVER been treated this way. Disappointed.

I have loved this gym. I always tell everyone about how clean and friendly it is. Except lately there is a worker who is never pleasant when speaking with. She gave me a tanning bed and one of the facial lights was out. Usually when this happens the workers always inform me so I could either take the bed or wait for another one. When I spoke with her after I had finished and stated she knew but didn’t feel the need to tell me. It’s called common courtesy and she should not talk so rude to a customer. Very disappointed

we were waiting to use the massage chair because there was a guy sitting in the middle half asleep. My friend asked about tanning beds because he did a research project on them. She made us give her our tokens and leave. No explanation. Also talked to my other friend about him taking a picture of himself and told him one more time he has to leave when he showed her the picture and it was of no one but himself and me.
