Once i get this managers name i will leave it on this comment. I had a literal panic attack over losing my ring, i searched everywhere couldn’t find it, i brought it to the managers attention today 9/1/25 at 8pm and hewas amazing. He searched with me, even had the female locker room searched for me, gathered my info reassured me, i ended up finding it on my person but goodness he was AMAZING!!! I really hope he gets paid well because he’s just so passionate, kind and caring and a good person for management. His customer service was perfect aswell, very calm and reassuring, respectful and just amazing overall! Again once i get his name i will leave it here!! But 10/10 experience im very pleased with how serious he took things

Machine are updated and the gym is a good size. I would give more stars buy their hours don't match their sign and the music is alwaysto loud. The sign says 24/5 but I got there at 430am Monday and they don't open till 5am most planet fitness open at 12am Monday.

I have also been coming to Planet fitness for some time. Everytime I go to take a shower the water is always cold. I've been in the handicap shower it always go cold and never gets warm. It happened to me again in a different shower and it just got colder and colder. So I had to switch showers again. This will be the 3rd time it has happened. I've had to switch showers while there was soap in my hair. Other than that the staff is polite and friendly. Atleast the bathrooms are clean when I go in. There is something with the hot water for some reason hopefully some one will look into it.

I feel like the social clique elites are ruining the "Planet Fitness" brand.

When I first joined. I reached out to the Assistant Manager to establish a professional relationship. They recoiled as if I were a threat to them?

As time went on, during two separate occasions, I've heard this AM state "That's what I heard..." Letting me know that spreading gossip and rumors is a part of what they do.

For this AM, it's seemingly a kind of defense mechanism. If they feel threatened, they spread gossip and rumors to damage the reputation of said threat. The problem is, they behave as though they feel threatened everywhere they go. All I did was be friendly to them. That was my crime?

Over the next two years, there have been many new hires reach out to the membership, to create professional relationships. Those new hires were gone shortly after.

I can't believe I'm watching this happen. If a new hire is friendly with a member, the clique runs them off? I've seen many good people, that bring the right vibe, who did not last long.
Apparently "they DON'T belong".

I get the feeling that the clique is making this happen. If a new hire is friendly with members, then the clique will have to be friendly with the members also. It's easier just to get rid of the new hire. Thus eliminating any competition and maintaining the poor culture.

It looks like there are an elite few who are a part of the culture, including the AM. Stand behind the desk, spread gossip and rumors, hurt people, do little else. The rest of the staff go along with it to keep the peace. The clique is friendly with some members but, for most of us, the clique could care less.

At some point, the home office in New Hampshire is going to read this. When that happens, the right people are going to ask a lot of questions about what all of you are doing at PF, Saginaw MI, West. Running off good people who create the right atmosphere is bad for business. Running off good people who reach out to members is bad for business.

Company records will show how many hires did not make a 1 year anniversary. How much money is being lost on hires?

There are staff that have the right kind of social strength. These are the people who could excel.

The irony in this...some of them have now BECOME the very thing that they say others are. Just because we're not a part of THEIR clique.

To the owner: Promoting this AM shows us that this is what you think leadership looks like. Then, without you knowing, they operate behind the scenes. Seemingly a poor judge of character on your part.

I just went inside to flag my dad down literally stepped inside flagged him down and stepped out. Then I was told by the old lady that was quite rude I need to leave her name was Jennifer and the General Manager she is so rude plus my dad has the black card so he has a guest. If that is there general manager I urge everyone else to go to a different location so they are verbally harassed by the general manager.

Disappointing and Unsanitary Experience

I’ve been coming to this Planet Fitness for a while, but the conditions have gone downhill. For starters, none of the soap dispensers in the bathrooms work, so there’s no way to properly wash your hands—completely unsanitary. On top of that, the paper towel dispensers for wiping down machines are often empty, which is unacceptable for a gym where cleanliness should be a priority.

The worst part, though, is the lack of enforcement when it comes to gym etiquette. Grown men are allowed to yell across the gym at women while hogging multiple machines during peak hours, and the employees just stand by and do nothing. It creates a really uncomfortable and unprofessional environment.

Busy from sun up until sun down. If you don't mind a crowded gym, it's a good gym with a lot of equipment.

Edit: In response to the reply, the crowd meter is in accurate. I've used it before and it was far busier than it said. My suggestion is to go to the other location in Saginaw. Larger facility, newer equipment, and less people.

It's upsetting that I've been coming here for about 2 years and the entire time, this building has had no hot water. I used to be able to turn on 2 showers at once and it would warm mine just enough to bare through. Now even that doesn't work. I pay for a black card membership and every time I'm in this area I have to drive out of my way to the other saginaw location if I want to shower which I have to do for medical reasons when I workout. Very frustrating. And the leg press at this location is outdated and doesn't fit a 5"0ft person. It doesn't come down far enough so I don't even try it at this location. There's a few machines that don't accommodate for short people at any location, especially the ab machines, but the leg press issue is exclusive to this location. I hope it gets better in the future. I had already avoided this gym for 9 months due to the lack of upkeep. I will be avoiding it again after giving it another shot.

This is such an awesome place to go! For $25 a month and a small annual fee, I get access to the full gym and spa. The equipment is awesome to use, with QR code instructions on each piece, and a picture of what muscles should be firing when you use the equipment properly! I wanted to give a special shout out to Adam for being such a positive trainer and helping me feel more comfortable with all of the equipment, and Anthony for helping me out with various questions about the gym itself and the black card spa. But everyone there is very nice and does great work!

Very poor customer service . I went in to work out which I have not been in for months. I was denied entry because the customer service team leader said I had a balance from last year. My bill for this month was paid. He told me if I wanted to work out I would need to pay the bill. I explained to him I was unaware and there has never been a time when my bill has not been paid. I asked to speak with the manager of the facility and she was no help either. I was never informed of this and yet the facility continued to take money from my account. I have been a member since 2020 and I probably go five times out the year if that. So I just cancelled my membership because they have their money worth in service because I never go. This should have been handled in a different way. I should not have been denied service especially if they were already paid for this month.

I like to go to Fitness Planet to work out I work out from home to do the physical but to walk as cold as it is and I walk a lot at work but on the weekends I need to walk so I signed back up to do my walking exercise to continue my health to stay nice and healthy the guy that was there last night was friendly and I just keep walking.

I just moved up here i have been a loyal Planet Fitness Customer for 10 years. Today was the first time i was denied to tan. Its 830 am and since i didnt tan until 1030 yesterday im not allow to tan until then??
I get no more then once a day but exactly 24 hours is just silly. And the fact that there is no one in charge to speak to in the building is even more Ridiculous.
Just a shame. Really ruined my day as it has already been a stressful morning and i just wanted to workout and tqn before my 13 hour workday. Thanks for that PF

So at this moment I am kind of upset I found out I was pregnant January the beginning of this year I had canceled my membership March 4th 2023, remind you I did this in person so there is video footage of myself coming in and canceling my account I just checked my checking account and noticed it was down $39 so I looked into it and come to find out they have been taking my money out every month including for the month of March I just got off the phone with a manager and she said there's nothing they can do about it I am shocked that I can't even get my own money back and how I was treated I have never been treated like this that any other planet fitness I would also like to remind everyone when you cancel make sure you get actual documentation cuz I do not go by camera footage nor anything else I had got a cancellation paperwork even and it was too far back for them to go on I am truly upset and will not be going back and a little further advise my friends and family don't put your money at kind of places like these they don't care about you it's all about them and their business

I last worked out here in 2018. The Black Card membership was really nice to have during my years in school as I could lift at the Planet Fitness in Lansing and also in Saginaw. The gym was always satisfactory, I just couldn't handle the purple and yellow anymore. Also, I wanted to bench, squat, etc. with free weights. With the gym, though, you get what you put in and PF has all the tools one needs for a satisfactory workout. The tanning and Red Light Therapy was also nice as features with the Black Card membership. The purple/yellow atmosphere is overwhelming just to think about, otherwise I might consider rejoining. For the price, though, it's simply the best value gym in Saginaw.

This is my regular place to work out. Great staff and good equipment. When I do cardio I never have to wait for a treadmill or elliptical machine. I sometimes have to wait for a stairstepper though, I wish that they would add more of those. I sometimes have to wait for weight training machines but usually not too long.

Planet Fitness - where have you been all my life? The amenities are great. The staff is great. Where else can I get a hydromassage bed, an infrared booth, massage chairs, a cryo bed, a wellness pod (awesome) and tanning on top of the all the actually workout equipment for $25 dollars a month. Best $25 bucks I'll ever spend. Also, tiny tiny tiny Tootsie Rolls and tiny tiny tiny grape candies. I'm in love.

I canceled my subscription Tuesday, 06/28/22 at 12:05 pm and they did not cancel it and I was charged on 07/17/2022. I had canceled because my transmission blew and I currently can't afford the extra. The issue with a unknown fee had lead to a overdraft fee.

I moved my star's up to 3 because the issue I believe is resolved now. I am unsure if it was my bank or planet fitness that did it though.

If you cancel your Sub, make sure it's really canceled at this location. I had liked this place before this issue. They are friendly, and the equipment and areas are clean. I had planned to go back after my situation was resolved, but I am unsure that I will now.

It's pretty good. They could use more free weights. There isn't one free weight bench press. There are Smith racks you can bench on, but no free weight bench presses. That's probably the only draw back. Lots of cardio equipment though.

I would like for PF to give their customers an email or text a day or a week in advance when they're going to take the annual payment from our accounts. I don't truly think every customer knows exactly when their anniversary date is. I ABSOLUTELY despise automatic withdrawal to begin with. This has honestly been such an amazing experience for me. I decided to start my fitness journey not to long ago and I was super nervous about going to the gym, but I decided to try a class. Tonight I attended my third class with Adam and I am so impressed. He has been able to help me learn how to get the most out of my time at the gym and it has really improved my confidence! I brought a friend tonight and she was super nervous but he was able to help her feel just as comfortable and she loved it as much as I do! I will 100% continue coming to see Adam! In the beginning I loved it but I just had to cancel my membership. I bring a guest with me who had came several times with me before. Guess they owed an old bill. We get ready to check in and they say well unless she pay she can't work out. I'm like why didn't u call or say anything the last 5times. But I'm like ok just cancel my membership cause I just drove 20 mins to get here. Well I was paid up until the 16th so I came for the 2 weeks I had remaining. The staff started trying to pick on me and intimidate in to not coming. But I showed up every day still. Guess they felt like since I cancelled I shouldn't have been there. Staff very rude.
