Let down by planet fitness. I had the general manager call me and accuse me of takeing pictures of staff which is sick and disrespectful to accuse someone like that. The situation that happened was that I have been told a few times that I'm not allowed to tan till 24 hrs after I tan. They keep telling me it's state law but when I look it up online nowhere states it being the law and I showed them on my phone and now being accuse of takeing a pic of staff and being refunded and banned. Jordan was very unprofessional as a general manager he just as irratate as me being the upset customer I would like to speak to his boss to get this resolved or I will contact a lawyer and the authorities to take the proper steps

Honestly this place is a joke i asked if I could PAY for a day to see if I like the place and was told no one there knew how to do that, I waited 20 minutes for the workers to tell me they also don’t know how to give me a day pass because they’re system changed and I can’t come in unless they do it, I just want to know how you have 3 people employed who don’t know how your system works and then on top of it are gonna waste my time then turn me away when I have cash in hand for not only the day but a yearly membership

Not happy with the new (meaning you can't use covid as an excuse anymore) hours at any of the planet fitness locations in a 15 mile radius from my home...The only location that's still 24 hours is all the way in Warren....

With my work schedule: getting to the gym everyday is impossible... I'm not a morning workout guy, I paid for the pass to workout at night before bed. I feel straight up scammed by this business, one of the main marketing points of this stupid gym is the 24/7 schedule and it's gone now with no sign of them hiring for more people or attempting to bring it back.

So clean and friendly staff! My shower at home has been broken, so I frequent the gym for a workout and shower. When I walked into the locker room here this past early Wednesday morning, the young lady working was SCRUBBING down the shower. I couldn't have been happier! So fresh and so clean!

This is my goto Planet Fitness out of the four locations I've used. Doesn't matter what time of day I work out, the employees are always pleasant and doing some type of cleaning. As a result, this facility looks great. I never have to wait for equipment as it's very spacious. I do wish they had 1st gen Hammer Strength machines that took free weights. They were super smooth compared to the newer pin based weight stacks that can have some unnecessary resistance. Overall, I can't recall leaving here feeling worse than when I walked in. Something to always look forward to.

Long story short, new staff has made this gym awful. Used to love it. Now a proud member of LifeTime Fitness.

Used this gym for over a year. Had no issues being a Black Card Member until today. Staff members told me my yearly fee didn't process. (This is not on them, and I am not blaming them for this.) I was on a time crunch, and told them it was fine and I'd pay whatever but that I needed this done fast. The men I was dealing with were just fine. The woman who came over to help was quite rude, and gave me attitude when I asked her to repeat a total. SINCE I AM DEAF, you'd think she'd realize I missed the first one and that it may not be my fault. I understand that I was rushing, but I was never condescending or rude and didn't deserve that. They were also training a new staff member, so now he is trained that it is appropriate to treat a Deaf customer that way. It is her behavior that made me cancel my membership and go to LifeTime Troy instead. So sad to see the place go downhill.

I canceled my membership on 8/23/2021 via phone spoke with Ashley. Gym charged my account on 10/01 for $39.00. PF employee did not send me the official cancellation email; Quin informed me that she'll cancel my account today to avoid future billings. Unacceptable! I canceled it on 8/23 and have my phone record. Quin told me I could speak with their GM, but that essentially, she'll let me know the same thing that I will not receive a refund for the $39 they deducted on 10/01. Their employee did not do her job, not my problem!! I asked for the number to corporate; SURPRISE they are an independent gym, go elsewhere!!

This is the friendliest planet fitness ive ever been to. I was scared going in for the first time in so long and the staff totally wiped that away. Super clean too. You can find at least 2 staff members deep cleaning every machine someone touches even if the person wiped it down themselves.

Before the pandemic, my entire family really enjoyed this gym. Super clean, great equipment and friendly staff. We temporarily cancelled our memberships because of the closures. We were super excited (after much discussion) to return to our newest favorite spot.

Today we stopped in to ask about renewing our membership. As usual, the staff member at the front desk (wearing a yellow jacket) was extremely friendly and helpful. However, as our conversation progressed another staff member inserted herself into the conversation by rudely interrupting to tell me to pull my mask up over my nose. Instantly, I was extremely offended and completely put-off by her harsh tone. I was not even speaking to her. Further, she was standing behind a piece of plexiglass and was wearing a mask. I am unsure how she thought that I could possibly infect her given that circumstance. She continued her deluge by telling me that to work out in THAT location, we would all be expected to be wearing a mask at ALL times...including during exercise. Wearing a mask during strenuous exercise does not sound like a reasonable, safe or healthy expectation.

Initially, we were considering rejoining. However, going to the gym is supposed to be enjoyable and relaxing. I quickly ascertained through the brashness and lack of empathy shown in the coarse response of the staff member that returning to this Planet Fitness would definitely be the furthest from an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, unless the policy loosens we will not return.

You can't call your gym a 'No judgement zone' when you clearly judge me for not wanting to wearing a mask when doing strenuous exercise. I guess you want me, an over 50 woman classified as obese, to collapse in your gym...what are your resuscitation rules? Hmmm

Love this location. Never busy, extremely clean. Black card spa is PRICE. LESS! I'd pay the $20/mo just for this area. It's a life saver. Tans, Red light therapy, massages? I can't say enough. Machines are distanced, sanitized sprays everywhere. People are VERY conscious of cleaning machines down.
