Staff is uneducated in what the laws are for video taping from a public sidewalk. If you don't want to be on camera don't come outside your door and be on camera it's an easy fix but don't threaten to call police on people obeying the law on the sidewalk. There is no expectation of privacy in public.

The Steel Mace Flow class taught by elite coach Jeffrey Ochs will leave you feeling strong, balanced and grounded. It is totally worth trying if you haven’t yet. He leads an awesome class that is for both beginners and more experienced students. The heat definitely intensifies the overall feel and I love having this class as a compliment to my strength training and mindfulness practices. The studio is clean and welcoming and I love supporting locally owned businesses!

Starting my yoga journey at Red Yoga during my first semester of my master's program was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The instructors at the studio truly made my academic journey much smoother, providing relief and balance during stressful times. Every class was a moment of peace and relaxation that I looked forward to each week.

Though I was only a student there for a short period, the experience left a lasting impact on me. I’m incredibly grateful to have walked through those doors. To the instructors, thank you so much for creating such a welcoming, supportive environment.

If you’re a student or anyone looking to unwind, I highly recommend giving Red Yoga a try—you won’t regret it! Even though I’m no longer in AA, the memories and the peace I found there are something I will always hold dear. Thank you, red yoga studio!!

The studio is not upheld as a sacred practice space. Chatter and loud noises are allowed in the studio, which takes away from authentic practice. With disrespect like that, it isn't worth the money or the agitation.

I have been practicing at this studio for 4 months and have had an amazing experience. When I started, I had little to no flexibility or knowledge of yoga, but with the guidance of Cat Bradley, a yoga teacher at the studio, I have seen my practice, body, and mental health transform into my best self. Cat's deep knowledge of yoga, combined with her patient and encouraging teaching style, creates a welcoming environment for all levels. She has a unique ability to break down complex poses, making them accessible and helping you progress at your own pace. Cat truly cares about her students' well-being, both physically and mentally, and her passion for yoga shines through in every class. I couldn't be happier with my progress and the support I've received here!

Would highly recommend this studio to everyone. The staff is very welcoming and takes the time and effort to learn your name and always acknowledges your presence. The studio is top notch and the staff immediately sanitizes everything after every class. It is on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for in this life. They have good deals right now for purchasing a block of instruction (like 10 classes).

I am truly shocked that an establishment in Ann Arbor would blatantly appropriate Hinduism for commercial gains. The handle for the door is a hindu god Ganesha’s HEAD. To put it in perspective, that would be the equivalent of Jesus Christ’s head being the handle the door of a non-Christian establishment. The utter disrespect being shown to the religion that invented yoga is shocking, and I have and will continue to discourage my friends from being patrons here.

Yoga Teacher Training is about to start in January, will you be one of the lucky students to learn with Pavel and Lauren! Clean facilities with a great yoga session. The techniques allows each practitioner have his or her own signature. Keep the breathe and learn and grow and ... and... and divinity.

The best studio I’ve been to. Always a mood booster to sweat my butt off and the community is special. Special features like infrared lighting and hot classes make this a studio I look forward to practicing at for a long time. All skill levels are welcome - a transformation awaits those who stick to it!

This studio has changed my life. The teachers are beyond incredible and their individual personalities shine in their classes. You can find whatever you’re looking for: motivation and hype or calming and restoration. The teachers pour themselves into everything they do and have helped me become someone to whom fitness is a passion when it’s never been before.

I’d like to specifically shout out Lauren, Emily, Sandra, and Pavel for helping me grow, feel safe and supported when I make mistakes, and take me from someone who didn’t know what a warrior pose was to someone who cares about yoga. I truly started from the very beginning and will always find more ways to grow.

I LOVE Red yoga studio. The studio is hot with dim lights and a welcoming environment. The teachers are super nice!! I love their flow classes. The flows are very creative and I enjoy the fun music playing! I also really like the spirituality that each teacher adds in. I would highly recommend this ann arbor studio. My only one warning is that sometimes the classes go a little bit overtime so you have to be aware of that when you schedule your time.

I love this place so much. I’m getting back into yoga since taking around 5 years off and I’ve fallen in love all over again. Definitely check out the class descriptions because they’re not all great for beginners, but every single teacher I’ve talked to so far is so sweet and open and willing to help. I also love the sense of community at this studio.

Updated review: Just moved back to Ann Arbor and was ready to head back to my favorite studio but it seems like there’s been a lot of changes under new ownership. No more XXX, Yinyasa, free meditation or late night classes, drop in price went up and now there’s a cycling class?! No thanks 😩 So annoyed I have to find a new studio in Ann Arbor!

I appreciate that RED has a variety of classes and a variety of top notch teachers. Some fast paced, some meditative. There is something for everyone. After 6 years of practicing with Pavel, I can say that sometimes his classes feel fairly easy and sometimes they are difficult. Even after the easy classes, I am amazed at how thoroughly every muscle group has been worked and how great I feel. I’m also amazed that no matter how difficult the class, being guided through effective warm-ups means that I rarely (if ever) experience sore muscles afterwards. Pavel is great at explaining the poses, the reason for the poses and where one should feel the stretch.

Unfortunately I wasn't very impressed with my class and the facility itself. Most people end up just changing in front because of inadequate space, which is awkward since the front windows face Liberty. They didn't know the password to their Wifi, and were unprepared when I asked to connect to it. The Hot 26 class wasn't really a workout at all, and the instructor gave little to no tips or assistance. The class also was not as described, and the room was barely warm.

I did a 70 mile bike ride about a week ago, a distance I've not been able to do for about the last two decades due to neck and back pain. But after three months of Red Yoga I can ride pain free. Prior to yoga, I was in pain with a ride only 5-10 miles long.

Thanks for making a real difference in my life with your fantastic studio, teachers, and community. I find the energy and music super helpful in keeping me motivated. And, as a beginner it's nice feeling so welcome.

I joined this Yoga Studio in autum last year. Ever since they are doing an outstanding job in keeping you safe while enjoying in studio hot yoga classes (wear masks, own cubicle style yoga places separated by clear plastic foils, etc.).
The diversity and quality of the classes is great. I think everyone can find their preferred way of yoga here and also all of the instructors are very nice, friendly and provide detailed instructions which are easy to follow during the yoga flows.
every once in a while the owner plays a gong for end if class meditation. This was a really unique experience for me and I highly recommend you check this out. Its great!

It’s more like a fitness studio more than a yoga studio...can’t imagine that one of the teachers use hip hop music during the class...and air is not circulate at all...not my type for yoga

Overall vibe feels very competitive instead of being mindful and welcoming to all. If you are new to yoga or don't attend regularly it may be difficult because there is not a lot of explanation of poses or alignments. Can be difficult to keep up when it's hard to see the rest of the room (infrared light). $4 rental fee for mats when many other studios offer them for free.

Great studio. The people there make a real effort to build a community. Varying levels of difficulty depending on the teacher or the class type. Seems like the teachers really bring it when they teach. Great place to stretch your hammies and turn your brain off and tune into your inner world. 5 stars.

I initially signed up for teacher training at Red to simply learn more about Yoga however the experience involved so much more than just that. Teacher training taught me to really embrace all aspects of yoga, not just the physical. It really is ‘life training’ in a way because all the lessons I learned in YTT were so applicable in my everyday life as well as on my mat. I was able to strengthen many relationships in my life, including the one I have with myself. Also, I could have never anticipated finding such a beautiful and warm community that is RED! By having such incredible teachers lead the group I always felt like I was in amazing hands and had someone I could comfortably go to when I needed help. Each teacher was so different which gave me a plethora of perspectives on each topic we covered. Most importantly, I felt pushed out of my comfort zone yet heavily supported every single step of the way. One of the best decisions I have ever made - I would recommend YTT to anyone who is interested because it’s for everyone.

I am completely in love with this place, I have been struggling with anxiety for so long and this is my safe haven. The teachers are amazing there is so much energy all around. Heidi and Kelli are amazing they really get you to let go of whatever you are holding onto. I also did the Yoga teacher training there as well and it helped me with not only to have a better practice but I ended up reflecting on myself, such an amazing journey. This community is so welcoming and one of a kind. I truly don't know what I would do without them.

Incredible. As a regular here and recent Red YTT graduate, I can say that I was pushed beyond what I thought I could ever do in each class and throughout the training. Each teacher here is encouraged to be an individual in their careers and their classes, and that really shows in the quality of instruction here. The YTT was fast and furious - I would *highly* recommend the Intensive as a second training, but if you're coming in without prior experience (as with any intensive), know that it moves very fast and you will need to commit a lot of time to mastering the material. However, I saw each trainee grow significantly during our month together, and it was a powerful, enriching experience for all of us. You will redefine what "possible" means for you.
Beautiful teachers here of every walk of life, willing to meet you where you're at and push you (with love!) to where you want to go. Amazing community of students, from UM and of all ages and levels, who show up ready to grow alongside you. Also, there are free mints at the front desk so you really can't lose :D

I was in Ann Arbor for work last week and did a drop in class at Red and it was awesome! I took the Hot Vinyasa class with Kelli, who was a great instructor. Great balance of traditional yoga poses and upbeat music and from the instructor. I am just getting back into yoga after an extended period off due to a shoulder injury so may not be the best class for a beginner but the studio offers a lot of different class types. T he front desk person was also really friendly and helpful getting me set for my first class. Definitely check out Red!

This is hands down the best yoga studio in Ann Arbor! I've been practicing for years and have visited just about every single one there is in town. not to mention across the country. Ann Arbor is very lucky to have a studio like RED! The quality is unmatched across the board! From location to the look and feel of the studio the amenities and most importantly the incredible team of teachers! I'm never disappointed by a class and always feel so welcome by the community! Also I have to mention, what an incredible woman and teacher Kelli (Owner of RED) is. If you have a chance to take her class do not miss that opportunity! There is no one quite like her!

Place has been closed for the last month and a half, schedule shows they were going to re open Feb 1st and then everything got cancelled now until Feb. 14th. I got my friend a groupon for Christmas and she hasn't been able to use it. Are they actually ever going to re-open or just keep cancelling all classes a couple weeks at a time?

Red Yoga is my second home! More than just a yoga studio, it is a place to come and leave my problems at the door. It truly is a great "community" of people in there. When you walk in the studio, you enter a blissful paradise that will make you forget what you have ahead of you in the day or what you have encountered that day.

The classes are heated, some more than others, but unlike other "humid" heated studios that have a tendency to smell, Red Yoga is heated by Infrared panels making it a studio that heats, cleanses and detoxes your body from the inside out. The heat does not just warm the room, it warms the objects in the room. It's an amazing feeling.

Kelli and Nicole, the owners know their stuff. Unlike other studios I have been to, not only do they teach a great class, but their knowledge of the human anatomy definitely shines in the way they teach. Every Body is different, therefore, there is no cookie cutter model for the teachers to follow. Each teacher puts their own signature on their class, giving you the freedom to work from within and "do your own thing" and "flow" on your own, leaving you wanting to come back for more!

Highly recommend this place! 5 Stars! Plus they have a great intro special.

The staff and teachers at Red Yoga are first rate. Nicole and Kelli have helped to create a community that is both challenging and encouraging. The Yoga Teacher Training offered at Red Yoga is exceptional and will leave graduates motivated and inspired to share the Red Yoga Ashtanga practice.

Personally, I have taken yoga classes in Detroit, New York, Texas, San Jose, San Fransisco, and Los Angeles both in corporate gyms and private studios and Red Yoga stands head and shoulders above the rest.

The teachers are friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced, helping to create an environment that is both challenging and rewarding. From the atmosphere, to the cueing of the breathing sequences while moving through unique flows, be prepared to take your practice to the next level.

Whether I am taking a day off of weight training or feel like I really do not want to train, I know the atmosphere and community at Red Yoga always leaves me feeling rejuvenated and ready to take on lifes challenges.
