By far one of the best gyms in this area, the 24/7 access is hard to find without driving farther out.
Don’t let the bad reviews scare you, since I’ve been here I’ve seen nothing but improvements.
From updated showers, holiday decor, fixed equipment and workers constantly cleaning the place or maintaining gear it’s definetly only gotten better since I started out!

Absolutely disappointed with this gym now. When I signed up, I was told to do the 12month plan and could cancel for $30 so instead of paying the $45 month to month, I went with this because I planned on being there for at least 3 months which would be the same cost but now they want to charge me $99 to cancel. Read your contract because this is some bull. Just paid my monthly, the enhance yearly and now this $99 fee. Almost $200 in a month. Plus the equipment is worn out. Just all around irritated with this place!!!

DO NOT go here! This place is so bad that my husband & I chose to pay whatever we had to to close our account. They told me they wouldn't charge me anymore, then continued to take out two more payments. I spoke to a gentleman (wouldn't give me his name) to get this refunded and he would only refund one. He asked me who I spoke to when I cancelled & I couldn't remember their name - I tried to describe him & he started laughing, saying "I know you're lying now cause there is no one like that here." I can't even begin to describe the level of unprofessionalism. Not to mention (but I'm going to), one day I asked when they were going to replace all the burned out bulbs in the tanning bed, their reply was that there is so much structural damage they have to fix, to avoid the 2nd floor from caving in, that the tanning beds are the least of their worries. I kid you not. Don't waste your money. Update: one month later, still no refund, charged my account AGAIN, and sent texts stating I need to stop in to make a payment!? There are many bad reviews in here about the owner and how they keep charging your account after closing it - I wish I'd seen those reviews before I signed up!

If I could leave zero stars I would. After double charging me for a month multiple times and triple once, I called to cancel and Kyle told me I wouldn't be charged anymore and they would refund the money. Fast forward 6 months they had still charged me for a month I didn't even use. Again I call and got the excuse my payment must have already been in processing. Fine.but were is my money from when you charged me double and triple? EXCUSES! Fast forward a year, I get an email from peak payments regarding a $600+collection. I will now be seeking legal action!

I completed the terms of my contract and was told 2 weeks prior to it ending to come in at the end of my contract month, September 2022, to sign a form to complete the cancellation. Well, I signed that form and was just notified today that it's a 30 day cancellation form. Now, I have to pay for yet ANOTHER month til the end of October 2022 and am not pleased! They would not waive the extra months fee. Again, NOT PLEASED!!!

Robbins Loft Fitness Center is fantastic! My husband and I have been working out here for the past month after switching from Planet Fitness and WOW, what a difference! My hometown go to gym. I'm there 4-5 days a week. Nick is an awesome trainer and Roberto has treated me like family and a VIP since day 1! They have an amazing staff awesome trainers and the place is flipping huge! Boxing/Cardio/Free weights/Circuit training/Tanning/Private trainers/Boot camp/Saunas. This is the nicest gym in town. Its more of a private club thats well taken care of and has plenty of equipment and programs. I am really excited about the boot camp being launched in July. Woot! Go see Kyle at the sales desk. He was awesome and took care of me. Made it super simple!

I would NEVER recommend this gym! Absolute horrible "Customer Service" I bought a membership for my husband in January 2021, he decided to cancel the membership on March 3, 2021, they took his key so he had NO access to the facility and was told it would take 30 days to cancel, so we expected to be charged for the month of March, and we were. We were then charged again on April 6, 2021. Once I noticed the charge, I called to ask why. I was told Roberto (THE OWNER) was out of town and would contact me when he returned. I was never contacted. I then noticed in June 2021 that I was still being charged for the monthly membership. I called on June 7, 2021 and spoke with JP, who told me he would stop payment on my account right away. I told him I would like to speak with Roberto and get a refund for the months of April, May & June. I was told Roberto was once again out of town and I would get a call back. My call was not returned. I called again on June 14, 2021 and was told that they had stopped payment on my account and I should expect a refund. On June 15, 2021 my account was charged AGAIN. I called and was very upset, I was told my account should not have been charged and that Roberto would call me. Roberto finally called, told me he would only refund me for the months of May & June, stating that the April charge was within the 30 day cancellation date. It is not. I told him it was unfair to take key the day of cancellation and expect to charge someone for 2 months with NO access to the gym. He then asked if I wanted a FREE month. I told him no, I would like a refund for April, May & June and that I would be filing a dispute with my bank for all of these charges. He then told me he would just refund me all 3 months and to NEVER COME BACK AGAIN and hung up on me. HAHAHA, I don't know why he would think I would ever go back to his facility again. I'm not sure he'll end up refunding me or not, so I filed a dispute with my bank and will get my money back that way.

As of today, the gym has charged me a total of $94.95 without my consent. No charges should have been made to my account after April 2, 2021 (30 days after the date of cancellation.)

I like the smaller gym, but they only have one tanning bed, one hex. You can't use them past like 900. Ive never seen the smoothie bar open , actually Ive never even seen one made. I went to that gym for about a year, it has a sentimental and comfortable vibe for me there.

Worst customer service ever! Requested on multiple occasions to terminate membership. Paid fees and still being charged. When I contacted the office I was told that paper work needed to be filed. I did the paperwork, next month charged again. Contacted the office they stated they never got the paperwork. Went back in filed paperwork kept a copy next month, SAME thing. Terrible place to go. Try calling during business hours and it tells you "memory is full please try again later", also they took out the tanning and still want the same amount monthly. There are no added benefits to going to this gym and I have asked on many occasions for someone to return my call regarding the billing and NO BODY does. Also, being charged the wrong amount monthly on my bank statement. They have staff at the desk that has NO idea what is going on and the person to ask about the situation is NEVER there and doesn't return calls. I WOULD NOT recommend this gym to anyone!!

Check your credit card statement. My subscription rate doubled with no warning. It took me 3 months to notice what had happened. This happened at the gym in Lansing run, until Dec 2016, by the owner of Powerhouse Gym in Owosso. He closed the gym with no warning and then a week later charged another payment to my credit card.
