Great studio!!! After Yoga Shelter Grosse Pointe closed I had a hard time finding a new studio but found my home at Shores Yoga. Great variety of classes and times. I love all of the teachers for different reasons. Always feel amazing after I leave. Very inclusive studio - any body type or age will enjoy their classes.

Wonderful studio. Tonight I went to my first class here (Vinyasa I with Emily) and really enjoyed it. I can’t wait to come back for more classes 😁

Ive been here a few times and really enjoyed the classes I took. Today I wasn't in the best mood and didn't feel like going, but decided to go because I might regret it if I didn't. I went into Emily's class expecting a nice relaxing experience. Boy was I wrong!! The entire time she was playing super loud whiny music (with lyrics!?) And she practically had to yell over it. Someone told her it was too loud and she said "okay thank you" and instead of turning it down she just talked louder. I tried to sit through it but I had to leave halfway through the class because the music was so loud and irritating. Shores yoga is an overall good place but I will never be attending one of Emily's classes again, absolutely nothing relaxing about it.

Wow, this place is incredible! As a newcomer to the yoga world, I found it a bit intimidating at first. However, Shores Yoga has created a safe space for learning and simply being. All the instructors are kind and offer assistance without overshadowing the class. They are genuinely supportive of your yoga journey, no matter where you are in it. The slower classes helped me gain confidence, allowing me to eventually try the Vinyasa class. I'm truly thankful I took the first step to try something new, and I am even more grateful that Shores Yoga fosters a supportive and nurturing environment for all learners. I really needed this place and I didn't even know it until I tried it. Highly recommend coming here.

I’ve always had a great experience at Shores Yoga. I love the class sizes and the intimacy of a smaller space. The studio is clean and bright. The instructors friendly and helpful. I even attended a kids session with my six year old niece and we both loved it.

Our family loves this place. We attended the family classes, as well as the Kid's Yoga (5-12). Ms. Jody works during the day in Elementary Education and her experience and patience with the littles is very apparent. I could not recommend this studio enough. In addition to having amazing children and Family
Programming, they keep the prices reasonable for families as well.

I’ve taken a few classes with Erin and I can’t say enough good things about my experience. I feel lighter when I leave and am always excited to come back for my next session. I wasn’t big into yoga before coming to Shores Yoga but I think this place is changing that!

Good vibes! Yoga Shores has been my very first in person yoga class experience(s). Even after my initial experience it still has been very rewarding. I leave feeling even better than before I've arrived!!! It's not as huge of a space...but, for the most part there is enough room move freely.
I am grateful for the opening package of $20 for 20 days, I've been able to explore the various options of yoga and connect with mostly all of the instructors... and they're all really dope!!! I love their energy.

I absolutely LOVE Shores Yoga. I was so excited when I heard a yoga studio was coming to downtown SCS. The moment I walked into opening night class I knew I had to get a membership. I love how no matter how many times a week you go, every class is different. You aren't bored doing the same movements, it's always something different/moving a different part of your body. Lindsey is so welcoming and an amazing instructor. I've already told all of my friends about it and a few have started going!

I cannot express how great this studio and both Lindsey and Brian are. I have anger issues and no chill switch. My mind is always racing with the stress meter shaking between orange and red at most times. I came the first time only begrudgingly with a friend who wanted to go. Every time I’ve tried yoga I get frustrated from the confusion and annoyed with the context. This time however changed everything for me. Half way through the session (Slow) I found myself actually relaxing. Lindsey creates such a welcoming and calming space. I decided to return and try a few more times and other lessons. I can’t believe how I was able to listen to her guidance to close my mind. When I’m there I feel safe and able to truly just “be”. After classes I drive home with such calm and a sense of being “ok”. It’s the first thing in a long time I find myself pushing to do even when I’m tired or in a bad mood. I’m not in shape and have terrible balance but that’s ok. She provides options and clear instructions. I even felt brave enough to try Vinyasa. Brian was the yogi and does SUCH a great job at reading the room to adjust class and gives very clear instructions and guidance on finding and focusing on your breath. Some students are clearly experienced and others very new. I highly recommend and am so thankful they’re here!
