I got so much stronger; physically & mentally from lifting. James’ workouts made the entire body stronger. I became more flexible as well, helpful for yoga practice. The benefits from having a personal trainer is priceless. James walked me through everything & explained the targeted muscle groups to help me be successful with the weights & machines. I’ve been working with James for six months now and the change in my strength and overall health is quite noticeable. I play a lot of tennis and have always been dealing with injury upon injury. Since starting with James I am significantly stronger and have remained injury free. If you are looking for a personal trainer give James a call. He is extremely knowledgable and professional, and will create a program to address what you really need, not just run through some generic sets. And as a bonus, the gym he trains in is super cool and unlike your typical crowded health club. For once in my life I am finding training fun not a chore. Thank you James!

I would say I have moderate fitness experience. Had used personal training services before. And was most recently using an app based training system. It worked well enough but I received a recommendation for James through a friend. I gave him a shot and it’s been a night and day difference. Yes, he’s helped with technique/form and programming, but what sets him apart is his personality. He really pushes you to your best effort. He can read how your body is feeling and adjust but always pushes you to where he knows your body can go. That added intensity makes me really look forward to our workouts. Also, when you breakdown the way his scheduling works, open scheduling on a monthly basis, for one set price, the cost per session makes working with him a steal. And this is not factoring in his nutrition advice. He’s also super communicative and even on days I train alone, I can text him and know he has my back. You should give him a shot, you won’t regret it. You may want to cuss him out at times after a set but ymmv

I’ve been working with James as a personal trainer for the last 3.5 years. I had been training on my own for many years prior and have seen the best results in these last years. He listens to your goals and designs strong programming to help you reach them with ease. He is constantly watching and correcting form to make sure you’re reducing injury risk. He is awesome at keeping you accountable and checking in, and is flexible with scheduling. Even after leaving Michigan, I continue to work with James virtually. He cannot be replaced and is the best trainer out there. Whatever your fitness goal, James will work extremely hard for you to achieve it.

James does an excellent job to create a program custom to your needs. He holds you accountable and because of this you really see results. I’d been lifting weights for 10+ years, began with James 2 years ago. For me he helped me to become consistent, to better quantify my activities, and helped me to achieve noticeable results.
