Best gym for casual and serious lifters in the area, I came in a got a one day pass to check it out and was extremely impressed. I was in town for an extended stay and was very happy to find Strength Haven. Without a doubt this is much better equipped and maintained than my local gym back home. There was concept2 rowers and a ski machine, ropes, and plenty of free weights and dumbbells. Tons of machines and, unlike any other gym, everything was in perfect working order. There was also several spin bikes, commercial grade treadmills, ellipticals, and other cardio equipment. Great experience, I will be using this gym any time I am on the west coast of Michigan.

A great gym! My parents have a house in the area, and needed to find a gym on a pinch to get my workouts in for a couple days. From the first phone call, the process was incredibly simple to get access. The price is beyond fair, and everything is extremely easy to pay/access gym. The 24 hour access is also a huge perk. Vacationed in South Haven and this is a local gym. They offer day/week passes which is amazing. Strength Haven is a solid gym! My adult daughter and l really enjoyed our experience there. It has everything you would want from treadmills and nautilus type weight machines, to free weights, bands and yoga mats. The owner is very nice. It is staffed Mon & Thurs., but is open 24hrs. Have to go online to buy and print out/show your phone to scan a bar code just outside the entrance. I noticed it did not smell like a gym at all. That is a good thing! The gym has a dehumidifier running, and lots of Damp Rid products to keep any damp sweatiness out of your nostrils. There are also fans running and the A/C kept it comfortable. Cleanliness is emphasized and sanitizer spray & paper towels are located throughout to make it convenient no matter where you are in the gym. Just two small criticisms. There are nice big windows, but they are in need of a good cleaning. Also, there are two big, clean single occupancy bathrooms. The one l was in also had a shower. I assume the other does too. Both were occupied when l needed to use the restroom. I was wondering why the people inside were taking so long, and when l went in, saw the shower. So use the bathroom at home prior to heading to the gym. Highly recommend this gym!

Strength Haven provided a very good gym experience overall. The staff was friendly, and they had a good variety of weights and machines. They had a lot more machines that use plates than I'm used to, but it wasn't a big deal. They put a lot of emphasis on sanitizing equipment after use, which I appreciated. The only things I'd suggest would be reusable towels for wiping things down, rather than paper towels (to be more thorough), and more flat benches would have been nice. But space was limited, so that might not be plausible. I hope to go back!

A great place with good people. No judgement here! I’m a little on the bigger side and due to health issues have to exercise a little less intensely than others and not once have I ever felt as if someone looked down on me for doing so. Quite the opposite actually, everyone- owners and other patrons are all friendly and go about their own routines without passing any judgement or disapproving looks. We only used a day pass while vacationing in South Haven, so this is based on that type of experience. First, very affordable. Second while the process is easy, you have to call the phone number, there did not seem to be an online option. Third, the gym has a lot of equipment. Everything was in good shape and worked. The only downside is that they only have one of most things and this place is popular, so you may have to wait for a person to finish. Everyone lifting was very nice and courteous. I definitely will be going back the next time I am there.

Strength Haven has the BEST machines, along with the best lighting. This gym feels so “homey”! Also, the owners are so cool and down to earth. I try to come to the gym whenever i’m around south haven area!!

I was in south haven for the weekend visiting friends and lifted at Strength Haven during that time. The owner was quick to return my call over the weekend even though there aren’t typically office hours during the weekend. The facility was very clean and had everything I needed to get a great workout in.

Excellent gym. The machines are set up properly and they’re the kind of machines and free weights you would wish for if you’re serious about lifting weights. Clean bathrooms and gym. I also love that’s it’s 24 hours since I usually workout quite early. If I ever move to South Haven, this would be the gym for me! Would highly recommend!

Visiting from out of town and Natalie was awesome. She extended customer service that is truly a rarity nowadays. The gym was very clean, even the bathroom was spic and span. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking for a clean environment, great equipment, and awesome personell.

Went here over our vacation weekend, Gym was awesome, smaller gym but had an immense selection of great quality equipment that’s better than my gym back home. Run by Pro bodybuilder who keeps the gym very clean and organized to a T.
