My husband and I joined Strength Rx looking for education and guidance in lifting weight to build lean muscle, lose fat, and complement our endurance training routine. After one session we knew this was exactly what we needed. I highly recommend 1 on 1 sessions initially to learn technique. The nutrition counseling is also an integral piece of the services you receive. You will not feel intimidated in this gym. If you aren't getting the results you want, I highly recommend you try this out.

Fantastic gym Chad has created here! Joined 4 months ago and couldn’t be happier. Solid direction provided in both group classes and individually curated programs accessible via an easy to use app. The coaches are always happy to help with movements and ALL fellow gym attendees are friendly. I've been really happy with my experience at StrengthRx, especially my training sessions with Chad. His focus on safety has helped me avoid the injuries that usually prevent me from reaching my goals. This, along with his constant encouragement have given me a level of comfort to push myself and gain strength I haven't had in 20 years. His nutrition advice has made sure I have the protein to support these new muscles. I love the ability to track my progress with the body scan as well.

Strength RX and Chad have had an immensely positive impactive on our health, strength, balance, and mobility. My husband and I decided we needed to do more to protect our health in aging, so three months ago we began training with Chad. In only 3 months we have both noticed significant changes in our strength, fitness, and energy. Chad has also given us great eating strategies (not a diet!) to make sure we are building and maintaining muscle.

The comfortable and positive environment of the gym, for all ages, makes working out enjoyable. Not at all intimidating! In addition to leading a group of talented trainers (Donovan, Dan, and Jake), Chad is a knowledgeable and skilled trainer and teacher. He ensures we are working out in a safe way that won’t cause injury and teaches us how the exercises we are doing correlate to movements in life outside the gym, i.e. squatting, kneeling, lifting.

Chad has created something really special with Strength RX and we are so happy to be a part of the Strength RX community!

I’ve been a physically active individual for most of my life with work & play. In the past, I’ve always enjoyed the world of cardio activities & HIIT, but getting into my 40’s, I started experiencing pain in my joints, specifically shoulders & elbows. My friend suggested I work with Chad. I’m so glad I did & couldn’t be happier! Chad is the best! Not going to lie, it was a little intimidating getting back into the gym & starting a whole new different way of training, but I love it! Chad is so professional & has a wealth of knowledge & experience. He listened & addressed my specific concerns & goals to tailor a strength program just for me. I started working with Chad, owner and lead trainer at Strength Rx a little over a year ago following a referral from my physical therapist. I have been active my entire adult life (I’m 70) but had been sidelined for many months leading up to meeting Chad due to lingering issues from hip surgery. Working with Chad has allowed me to regain strength (and then some) and fully return to the activities I most enjoy (biking, hiking, xcountry skiing). Chad’s knowledge of the body, nutrition, and how to guide someone through a safe and effective strength training program has been an immeasurable benefit to me. The rest of Chad‘s team are also great to work with and collectively they make it a fun, supportive and welcoming atmosphere for everyone regardless of experience level.

Huge fan of this gym. At 44, I’m stronger than I’ve ever been. But more importantly, I am pain free for the first time in years. I had been a consistent cross-fitter and loved the variety, the programming and the camaraderie, but some of the movements just didn’t work for my body and I kept getting hurt. I joined a am class and found a motivated and motivating group of misfits and a great coach in Chad. Would highly recommend some 1:1 coaching or joining a group class irrespective of where you are in your fitness journey.

I came to Chad at StrengthRx because I wanted to add muscle, look and feel better, but was also dealing with two shoulder injuries and one knee injury. After less than a year, the pain from my injuries is an afterthought, and at 40 years old I'm stronger than I've ever been - even as a young athlete. I’m so grateful I was introduced to StrengthRx! I was struggling with knee pain and weakness from old surgeries. I felt stuck and frustrated, unable to do activities or stand for long periods of time without my knee swelling. I was in and out of physical therapy- cleared surgically but making slow/no progress with traditional PT. I started working out with Chad and within a month I saw major improvements! Chad tailors the workouts to my needs and is really knowledgeable about pain, weakness, and how to build muscle while dealing with pain/swelling. I’m really happy with my progress and I’m amazed what I can do now vs the first day I started. As an added bonus I’ve lost weight and gained upper body strength too because our workouts are also full body. I love the gym and equipment. All of the trainers are great and the members are friendly!

Chad and his team are incredible! The training regimen that they create is amazing at getting stronger without pain. If you struggle from chronic pain, this is the place for you where you can strengthen and alleviate the pain.
